I also have a york-terrier mix. She's the laziest being on the planet and sleeps all day and the only thing that makes her different from a cat are her genes. I love her with all my life and the 11 years she's been with us are all special.
I had a Yorkie that looked like Perla's dog & we also had her mate as well but they both passed away when I was in elementary school..
They're in a better place now & they were the best dogs!!

Last year, my sister's freshman teacher's dogs had puppies. So my sister pleaded with my parents to get a little chiwinnie puppy and surprisingly, we got him. This puppy has changed our lives. Usually I'd be in my room all day doing nothing but now I like to hang out with the fam in the living room, cuddling with our little mini burnt sausage. He's helped with my depression. He loves to lay down and cuddle on your lap above or under the blanket. He a spoiled brat but he's OUR spoiled brat. His name is Asher and he's technically my "sister's dog" but he's actually a family dog who's favorite person is my mom. His favorite food it icecream, and he loves playing fetch and retrieve the ball but you have to grab it from his mouth to throw it again. He hates sitting on hard floors and will only sit on carpet or the couch. He has so much personality and he's our little baby❤

this brought me back to when i had my terrier mix, koko. she was so energetic but holy crap bruh she barked for literally no reason so much and it made u wanna rip ur ears off. besides that, she was absolutely adorable and so loving everytime i would come see her. the day i noticed she was close to passing, she just was not herself.
she looked tired and didn’t come to me even when she was 3 feet from me. she could stand but didn’t have the energy to walk. during the middle of the night, she was howling like crazy and not cuz she wanted to but bc she was in pain. i broke down in tears at 5am dude. the next morning, i come to find out that she did pass away but was taken to the vet to see what was wrong with her.
she had so much problems and a heart condition. we have her buried in my backyard along with my other dog and i just bawled my eyes out that day. i blame myself for her death and even now. i wish could’ve done more for her :(

I have a yorkie jack russel mix and he sleeps about 22 hours a day. and despite this when we take him out on walks he is so excited that he just pulls and ends up strangling himself for like 45 mins straight. We've tried harnesses but he just strangled himself louder so that don't work

People think cats are "worse" pets than dogs because they don't immediately show as much love and affection as dogs (also dog culture). Cats are more independent animals and you have to try hard to gain their trust but it is worth it. I guess different pets are for different people.

The same thing happened to me and my mom, we went to a pet shop and we were in love with a small dog. My mom loved the dog and we wanted it. Of course, we got to play with it. But the worker said other people wanted to play with it too and my mom let it happen. The dog ended up getting taken and we took a diffrent dog.
