Honestly, the two things that brought back the most nostalgia for me was the Pillow pet and Zhu Zhu pets and also Furbies, but I was also absolutely terrified of Furbies so I never had one

Gosh, I agree. The early 2000s were so memorable. I do remember the zoo zoo pets. Do you remember all those beanie baby collectables and that stupid silly putty they sell in those eggs and ended up somewhere in the corner of your room eating up dust cuz you eventually got bored. And must we not forget about those turtle sand pits. T^T
the last two I remember is definitely true I got some of the silly putty in second grade while my brother was in first grade and he got it all over his Pikachu onesie 😭
