10:50 Internships definitely help but don't kill yourself over it. You can totally make up doing Hackathons and competitive programming! I personally prefer Hackathons! I like what you said though, just network to get those entry-level jobs.

My son is close to accepting admission to UCSC in CS. We've been watching all your UCSC videos. Thank you so much for sharing your experience. We have a couple of questions: Where did you take community college courses to help you finish UCSC in 3 years? My son has a lot of AP credits and we are hoping UCSC will take them all. Will an advisor have a 3 year game plan for him or did you figure that out on your own?

Can u explain the difference between the MS and the MEngg program in terms of course work and job opportunities. Also, Is it true that many students receive an admit for the MEngg program than the MS program?. If an MS student wants be a working professional, will there be enough job opportunities as compared to the MEngg student?.
