Hi is it warm enough to swim in April?

It is warm enough outside many of the days to enjoy the beach. In April the sea is still cool from the winter so we swam briefly. In May we swam often, the sea was warmer by then and continue to swim into November.

Ciao! Thanks for watching our videos! We lived in Tropea from September 2021 to end of May 2022. We are currently back in Canada at home but our plan is to go back and forth between Canada and Italy. I am behind in my videos and still have lots to share of our time in Italy. We have had several adventures in Canada as well this summer and will be posting those as well. We always watch your videos as well! We loved Scalea very much. Tropea is our home base but we took many trips throughout Italy. Looking forward to returning as I’m missing Italy already!

We love Scalea. We have there 2 apartments, and we spend there a few month every year. But Tropea is a real jewel. It's our "must" on every our visit.

@@janetlombardi2314 thank you 😊 we loved our visit in Scalea and also have a Scalea video you can watch to see some of the seaside city. Real estate in Scalea is very affordable and I believe it’s a lovely place to call home. Tropea holds a special place in our heart, but is a bit more expensive when it comes to real estate. Calabria is a fantastic place to spend time!
