Tchaikovsky - 1812 Overture: Grand Finale

This composition debuted in 1882 to celebrate Russia's defense against the French Invasion of 1812. The well known finale to the song features cannon fire and is one of the most iconic finales in all of classical music.

The 1812 Overture is a masterpiece of classical music, as one well as one of my all time favourites!

What I find fascinating is that due to the way it was supposed to use Moscow's church bells and artillery, it's technically never been performed as intended, and never can be.
