Well, the fact that they are so resistant to do these blood tests just kind of confirmed to me that a lot of them are working for insurance companies.

In my experience, a lot of doctors will want to push you towards whatever the most expensive treatment is so that insurance companies can be billed more for them. It's best to figure out for yourself what helps by doing your own research. My doctor wanted to put me on thyroid medication for life, and I figured out that I could treat it on my own just by not eating gluten and taking a few vitamins.

@@Hollyucinogen Awesome. You're doing the best for yourself - it took me years to suspect my diagnosis was wrong and also the awful treatment.
Although more than two doctors have said : "you're gonna get worse fast or not so fast" and by following their instructions every thing was really getting worse, I wasn't happy neither dead yet.
Not able to walk, feeling my teeth collapsing, vision getting worse, endless pain, no sleeping not even for an hour for a decade and all I was doing (and still am) is studying and looking for answers.
Finally I decided my diagnosis was wrong and : wrong treatment, wrong medication.
I quit everything and started to get better. Still looking for a specialist to confirm if I'm right about EDS and which type it is and maybe can give me better information.
Good part: I would never "have time" for so much studying and deep researching if I could move my body as before.

Does an Avise test that is negative mean that you do not have lupus? I have seen three different rheumatologist. One says I have lupus, another says I have Sero negative RA, and another said I have severe fibromyalgia. I cannot give all the detailed symptoms here, but I am struggling to find the correct diagnosis.

Does everyone realize that about 20% of the healthy population has a positive ANA. Everyone of these blood test she said does not make any kind of positive diagnosis but is merely a hint. However if you are like me and have enlarged Simandl are glands, parotid glands, thyroid gland with a lot of skin rashes and 37 eye infections in a little over four years and all your blood work looks normal except for a low positive 1:40 ANA test and a low +1.2 RNP antibody test you will be sentenced to a life of neck tightness because you do not meet the bloodwork criteria that is not assure positive to begin with. Ridiculous and it's life-changing to be in this situation with some choking incidence and no one is doing anything.

@@rheumatologistoncall I would like to see people in your profession do health care and not sick care. By the time a patient meets the blood work criteria to get any kind of treatment they already have so much tissue and/ or organ damage that it is life-changing and then they will be given higher doses of a medication that could cause cancer and a lot of other problems. If patients were diagnosed quicker they could have less or smaller doses of better medications or less of the same medicines with less side effects. There needs to be more research and doctors online talking about advances in autoimmune disease diagnosis and treatment.

Trying to figure out if an SSRI and antipsychotic caused my autoimmune problems, my symptoms began with adverse events that happened rapidly in a short time and led to multiple iatrogenic conditions. So far my CCM eye exam was noted to have autoimmune inflammation in my cells, I have further testing at UoM, I have networked over three years to solve my case, never gave up looking for answers and I don’t plan on it
Forgot to mention recently diagnosed with POTS
Diagnosis: Post SSRI syndrome and a persistent headache disorder called occipital neuralgia was caused the antipsychotic, this was determined to be the causations due to my medical history and the timing, having no medical history and then all of sudden having my life ruined by psychiatric medications…
