Now ask yourself is he really the one to be recommending cuts and I forgot to mention how tesla was about to file for bankruptsy but survived bc of subsidies from the government hes a pretty much a welfare billionaire at this point.

      I agree they won’t be able to cut $2 trillion by 2026 but maybe they are estimating their savings over a longer period of time? And maybe including the reduction of debt service to be paid if discretionary spending is reduced then the need to use as much debt in the future will be reduced along with it the corresponding dent service

      same in norway about 30% in all departments can be cut. Even a department leader in Norway said so,but that was after he had cutted 50%. I audited the US Coast Guards finance center in 2015. I kid you not that they had 6-7 people working the same tasks that 2-3 would do. And they were hardly aware of what each other’s role was in accomplishing those tasks. The amount of redundancy and wasted time the government normally operates with is astounding.

During one of those more regulation is demanded not less. and just like the FED cut when they should have raised (because that is what the 2 year yield told them to do) people voted for less regulation this go ... and when everyone is suffering they will DEMAND more regulation ... regulation keeps the rich from robbing everyone or at least makes it harder. We are about to let the Rich Hyper Elite take all the guard rails off and if you are not rich expect to be much more poor and have less opportunity... ie. Stagflation like the world has never seen. I was told that if that money had not been spent that they would not get same amount of funding for the next years budget. I was in a dept. that had 6 crews that went out in trucks to take care of trees in the city. The first thing we did was go get coffee. Then we would make it to the job site and sit in our trucks for 30 to 45 minutes. We would then work for an hour or so and then take 3 hour lunch break and then work for around another hour and then go back to the shop. I only lasted 1 year and then quit.

    HOAs are a perfect example of government inefficiency on a smaller scale. Instead of focusing on sustainability and real community needs, they prioritize control over petty details that don’t improve anyone’s life-like blocking solar panels or telling residents to remove potted plants. It’s absurd that while the world moves toward innovation and sustainability, HOAs cling to outdated standards and micromanage their communities. These organizations should be working to support residents, not creating unnecessary obstacles

      @ThatWhichErodes День тому +5

      i lived in a community where the HOA went from $200/mo. to $400/mo. in two years. they were bankrupt, couldn't even make essential repairs like people's roofs that were damaged in a storm, and to top it all off, when a few of the units burned down, those units didn't have any insurance, and so the HOA made every household pay $1300 in a "special assessment" to cover the cost of the build.
      the units were then promptly sold at a huge profit by the owners, on the backs of everyone else in the community. and five years later, people still have tarps on their roofs. all of this is "legal" according to the bylaws of the HOA.

    • @handsanitizer2457

    It has the potential to be effective. Personally I've seen redundant high wage positions of power and management, however it also has the potential to be worse for the government if they start with the bottom earners or low wage employees. Many Low wage positions could be considered redundant on paper, however a lot of government work performed by low wage employees cannot be accounted for due to the way work is distributed and who takes the credit. This has the potential to fire the people who actually do the work, and keep the middle managers who can't do anything.

So, there's people who are covered by Medicare for health and dental through private insurance companies, but most dentists don't accept that insurance, and the ones that do, do not take new patients. As a result, there's plenty of people who do not have access to basic dental care, but the government paying for their insurance, and they're "covered." In reality that dental insurance costs about $36/month to buy it and get accepted by most dentists for basic cleaning and stuff. This is happening in states. They should have mandatory health classes before handing out that card, and show improvement to keep it. Also, please, please keep in mind that some people on social security receive their SS payments via the same EBT cards, at least in California.
