You are my number one content creator for learning English. Watching your videos daily has really helped me improve my skills. I think starting a podcast is a great idea! Personally, I enjoy listening to podcasts while working out at the gym. It would be great if you could upload the podcast to Spotify-it’s the platform for podcasts. Honestly, I don’t know anyone who listens to podcasts on UA-cam. Congratulations on all the positive impact you’ve had on millions of learners!
I appreciate this first podcast I am starting to hear. It's another option to learn American English and getting a more easy way to improve my english. ❤
Rachel, your husband is so sweet when he says "I'm an expert on how I am not an expert". We all have learnt so much! Looking fowards to listen to the next episode.
I love the format and how you were motivated and influenced to start teaching. It’s always great to hear the story behind it, as it helps you think and imagine the context, rather than just focusing on practices. Please keep up the great work!

Thank you so much Rachel, It's been a long time I've been waiting for you to set up a podcast like this one in order to help us to be able to sound like a native speaker. You're very helpful "señorita"!
I like this, too. I would like to listen to podcasts about other subjects as well, besides how you became a pronunciation teacher of American English on UA-cam. 🙂
I can start listening to them as well, while I am gaming (without sounds and music of the game, which would disrupt listening). I do this as well when I am listening in languages I understand (English being on of them).
A very interesting conversation. Although I am not a native speaker of English (but probably very good at it) I understand everything. You have done a lot of things in the past. You are very talented! Because you are a pronunciation teacher of English (and because of some videos), maybe you may also be a very good speech therapist.
oh wait a minute is it first podcast, right? I am really into listening podcasts. it's really helpful for learning language in my opinion and in my experience free talk or the flow is a key for actually speaking in my native language and in English too. so, be able to comprehend a flow of language is a great skill and I think it's connected with the ability to produce this flow as well by myself.
Wow, same spots as my family, but I'm born and raised in Europe, still in Europe. My dads fam from Upper Midwest FM-area, my mothers fam from NYC, and my father worked almost his entire life in Florida.
Hello! In my opinion, the best way to speak English without your fear and hesitation is to adjust your expectations. There is no need to speak English perfectly, and there is no need to speak in such a way that you are never asked to repeat yourself. In fact, lots of native speakers of English are asked to repeat themselves because they weren't understood - so no worries if it happens to you. The more you speak English in conversation with others, especially native speakers, whether on the phone or in person, the more improvement you will see. Just keep practicing and even when you make mistakes, try again! You will improve and it won't stay as hard as you feel it is right now! You can do it!`
