I am currently facilitating SMART Recovery at a group home and the residents light up whenever I incorporate biblical principles into therapy. Most people in recovery are hungry for Jesus and the word so I feed them exactly that and it is so inspiring to see desperation turn into hope on their faces. We are few but I feel Christian Counselors and Therapists are so needed in this time, especially for the lost sheep who desire God.

Good stuff! My bachelors was in “Language with an emphasis in German.” 12 years after I graduated, I went back and got my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, from a Christian University that is CACREP accredited. It can be done!
ohhh I get it now I was so confused how can you get your masters without a bachelors degree? lol now I know what she meant
@@JustChristianThings. She said “you do not need a Bachelors in THE FIELD” to get your masters in counseling, therapy or social work, a few times.

I am going after my msw at a non Christian university and am going to take the LCSW examination to do counseling in private practice I have been a Christian for 7 years and am interested in becoming a Christian marriage and family therapist. Is it possible?
