If you really think about the physics of this, cyclops neck is having to absorb all that kickback and momentum slowdown. It’d be equivalent to bungee jumping with the chord attached to a helmet slowing you down.

All the non comic readers dont know about Scott Summers lol. But when he gets his powers fixed by mental correction hes all most omega level like havoc his brother he can shoot beams from his entire body.
