Design is done, but getting overwhelmed with choosing papers and figuring out the printing haha The design is very minimal, so I want the richness of the textured paper. So I have to go around those raw edges

Honestly everything has changed post quarantine. So many paper mills and/or warehouses shut down. There has been a shortage overall as well so it’s less about the best place to buy and more about who has it at all. I recommend working directly with your printer. Find a local printer you can trust and follow their recommendations (get samples!). If you are printing in house (yourself), I would start with to a good ol’fashioned Google search. Try to find a more local provider. See if they have wholesale accounts, etc

Hey Andrea! I only print the Rossi Italian paper in house at this time on my super old canon! I send everything else to professional printers. It works well still so I haven’t splurged for another-but I’ve heard GREAT things about the Canon Pixma pro 100. I’m not sure how it handles specific paper weights, but that is where I would start my research if I was shopping right now ☺️

Excellent point! I guess that’s why there are so many different types of paper (way more than what I generally fall back on and listed here). Depending on what look you are going for, there’s a paper for you out there!

I outsource as much as possible! As a work from home mom, my life and work is simpler and smoother if I cut out the printing-there is a lot more time and planning to print your own, though there CAN be cost benefits if you price right. I have heard great things about Canon Pixma printers though! If I was in the market, I would start there
It depends on your printing method. I might avoid the Rossi Italian paper as that limits your printing methods and go with either the cotton Lettra or handmade paper. But the overall aesthetic will effect your paper choice
Hurrah for a fellow #paperlover! hahaha I generally use 270gsm/100lb for my envelopes-I don't like them to be too thin. The Italian handmade paper is 120g though, which isn't my favorite aspect of those beauties! I definitely need to use a liner with those even just for the sake of privacy for my clients!
