Ross- A -Roni I didn't even mean it to be funny! Some of the takeaway food I get locally I give the leftovers to my cross eyed dog, and she doesn't eat it, but she eats her own poo. I guess that's saying something. 😂
Pionel tapinessi I guess I expected Al dente calamari in beer batter with a perfect dip to accompany. You missed the point. Food in this video looks awesome, food where I stay is microwaved shite. McDonald's produce semi fresh food and it's equally cardboard.
MrJimodoom This is Jejudo, however, so it looks a lot different ^^ Korean seas are typically dark and has lots of fish you can't see, and there's not many grassy areas.
Been missing YB! One of my faves from Buzzfeed and thought we lost her to that dude in Germany in that beer fest video lol, Glad to see you back doe YB!
I've been travelling to Jeju every year for the past 5yrs. The food is so good in the jeolla region of Korea, so the southern part of the peninsula and the island are a must. I still don't feel like I've tried everything yet.
I always love seeing video with YB eating stuffs. I dont know why she makes everything look so tasty and got me as viewers hungry. She would have made a very good mukbang DJ in AfreecaTV (only kpop fans know what i meant lol)
Tasfia Tasneem she says the places/things and they've also written out what it is and have either translated it or have it written out phonetically so the audience can actually go to Jeju and find these places or things. Not sure what else you're expecting.
What I meant was to put those names into the captions so that the names are more clear to the audience, since that's what captions are supposed to do. Sorry if I wasn't clear enough.
The right sea next to Korea is East sea. So ‘East sea’ is correct. Not sea of Japan. Because from long time ago, Japan had admitted the sea as ‘East sea’ on several maps and documents
Sorry for politicizing but I just wanted to tell the truth. I know people all over the world love Japan's foods and cultures but nobody knows what they have been so far like history distortion and concealing brutality. The reason why that kind of map showed names like the map is that Japan is one of the strongest countries and company follows the rules of Capitalism. Moreover there is also our fault that we haven't let you guys know about the truth. I know my words would be like a tiny dust that is going to vanish soon. Because I can't change global people's thought. Then Pete Shen said it's necessary to debate what that sea should be called. But East Sea has been admitted officially from back then. After Japan got to be economically strong country, They got started to try to call that sea as Japan of sea. Because it's related to Dok - do(you guys know this is Dakesima or maybe not). They want to get resources under the island so that they try to occupy East sea as well(that island is in the middle of East Sea). So it's not debatable thing. If you are curious about this, you can find many historical evidence about East Sea and Dok - do. It's not making a noise and disturbing thing. It's just truth that you have to know.
Jay and you can just tell it's island is korean territory or not sea of Japan because korean police is guarding not korean army in dokdo island. There is no such thing as sea of Japan.. Rip that a lot of people in my country don't know that.
Wow! As an American living in Busan, South Korea, you made me miss Jeju! It's been a couple of years since I have been there, and I must admit that the food there is awesome. Did you try the dried salted cutlassfish (갈치)? Jeju is know for that dish as well. I saw that you went to Hamdeok Beach... did you get the chance to visit 협재해수욕장? That beach is one of my favorites there. The Sunrise Peak and nearby Udo Island to the east are amazing as well. On hot days, I loved "spelunking" in Manjanggul (well, technically it's a lava tube and not a cave but close enough)! Anyway, thanks for motivating me to visit Jeju again soon. Cheers!
To add: A lot of the naturally formed coasts/beachlines in Korea actually help improve your skin's health and filter impurities because of the high mineral content in the water/air. Jeju's volcanic properties are extremely beneficial, and in older generations, they used to use the volcanic rocks as headrests for sleeping.
I loved this video! I am Korean American myself and have been to Korea 3 times. I have a huge passion for Korean food and really miss all the snacks and kimbap :( .... hopefully I'll go back soon!
There is BF London office & they did a Worth It series. Besides, there are a ton of London vacation & travel shows and videos. It's like asking for more Yankees coverage.
This was so nostalgic to watch! I really miss Jeju and if any of you visit Korea you must go to Jeju Island! YB, awesome video & it's so cute how you say Jeju ahaha.
Yb!!! You have to do more of these videos. The very fact you have this endless stomach makes it more amazing cause you can show us more food haha. Can you do vlog style next time and organize into a two or three part video series? I’m wondering if buzzfeed had you quickly speed through everything but I would have appreciated a slower more leisurely style. We love you and love your videos please make more of these!
Thanks for taking me to Korea! You're simple and beautiful too!I would love to go there! I was born in the Philippines and currently living in Chicago! ♥️♥️♥️
if she lived in korea until she was 12 why doesnt she speak korean well? in a different video she said she can only speak it at an elementary school level but in this video it seems like she can
In this video she's just reading the names of food and places. You don't have to be super fluent to do that. Her Korean is elementary level because she left when she was young and probably never learned anything more advanced
Yes confused about that too. I thought she was american born coz she nevers answers in korean when tey have korean videos. If she has left korea when she was 12, she definitely would still be fluent.
I’m Thai and I moved to NZ for only like a year and my Thai skills is already going down in the first six month because you use English so much that the only Thai I speak is with my dad and it’s a basic Thai conversation no fancy word or anything
I live in South Korea now, and I saw you went to a “beef and leaf”. I mean that’s what the army wives call it. And it is so good! We got the pork, and we had gotten a dumpling kimchi soup and it was honestly so good!
I got back from spending two weeks in Korea and I loved it. I was able to visit Geoje Island and Oedo Island and it was so beautiful. I hope to visit Jeju next time!
I think this is the healthiest YB has eaten ever. 🤣😋😋
Sari Celis same thoughts
Sari Celis is
I wish I could eat my way through a country! I just LOVE food!
Cody Whitlock jeju island is gorgeous. I would go again in a heartbeat
Cody Whitlock - You are pretty prolific on the Buzzfeed comment section. You always seem to be at the top.
Stop commenting on so many UA-cam videos just to gain popularity
Dantoni Norwood Maybe he just likes to comment?
Dantoni Norwood Or maybe he's after popularity, but if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
Food fills the hole in my heart that another person should.
Dang, that sounds really sad 😂
Cody Whitlock I just see it as a true food lover lol
Same
It's ok I got a cookie
That speaks volumes of buzzfeed.
Cody Whitlock can I use this iconic quote on Instagram in my bio I'll even give you credit for this 😂😂❤
The food looks epic, here is Scotland you go to a McDonald's and get a flat burger that looks like it's been picked up off the street.
Ross- A -Roni maybe you are a little crazy, we all are a little bit. 😂👍
Ross- A -Roni I didn't even mean it to be funny! Some of the takeaway food I get locally I give the leftovers to my cross eyed dog, and she doesn't eat it, but she eats her own poo. I guess that's saying something. 😂
It's McDonald's what do you expect?
Pionel tapinessi I guess I expected Al dente calamari in beer batter with a perfect dip to accompany. You missed the point. Food in this video looks awesome, food where I stay is microwaved shite. McDonald's produce semi fresh food and it's equally cardboard.
LOL 😂😂😂
Aw I’m so glad she is finally back in Korea after so long
She isn't wrong when she said paris baguette is super popular in korea. Legit you can see one in every mall, or major street
I also love Paris Baguette!! It’s indeed a popular bakery in Korea. Highly recommended!
eating my way through korea .. literally the perfect description of what i’ll be doing when i go to korea one day
Finally a YB video
Korea is so beautiful 😭
Watching her eat with a smile on her face, makes me so darn happy. What an angelic being!😊
Omg we need to make some Korean food vids!! Best freakin food!!!!!!
Rose P. - yes!! Studying kimchi as we speak for a future episode!! So excited!!!!
I want to try every single dish you showed, Korea looks beautiful.
MrJimodoom This is Jejudo, however, so it looks a lot different ^^ Korean seas are typically dark and has lots of fish you can't see, and there's not many grassy areas.
MrJimodoom Yes
Korean food is amazing
U are everywhere
Been missing YB! One of my faves from Buzzfeed and thought we lost her to that dude in Germany in that beer fest video lol, Glad to see you back doe YB!

“Called (speaking Korean)”
Nice captions.
Phoebe TT calling the wahhmbulance
Sorry that things in KOREA don't have English names for you.
Jenny Kim we don't necessarily want the English name. We just want to know what it's called.
Tasfia Tasneem she says the places/things and they've also written out what it is and have either translated it or have it written out phonetically so the audience can actually go to Jeju and find these places or things. Not sure what else you're expecting.

YESS WHERE IS MY KOREAN FAM? IVE BEEN TO JEJU A FEW YEARS AGO AND IT WAS GORGEOUS😍😍 I love Paris Baguette!

triggered Paris Baguette is lifeee
Safwan Foy omg I love PAPBINGSU YESS
Anne Elizabeth Clark it act is haha. There’s this one close to where I live in korea (when I go during summer) and I always go thete haha AND LOTTERIA
The right sea next to Korea is East sea. So ‘East sea’ is correct. Not sea of Japan. Because from long time ago, Japan had admitted the sea as ‘East sea’ on several maps and documents
It’s ironic that even though this viedo treats Korean foods, a video maker brought a wrong global map.
Way to go to politicize a simple food video
Sorry for politicizing but I just wanted to tell the truth. Jay trust me I'm half Chinese I know about the history of the last century in North East Asia
Jay and you can just tell it's island is korean territory or not sea of Japan because korean police is guarding not korean army in dokdo island. There is no such thing as sea of Japan.. Rip that a lot of people in my country don't know that.
This just made me so nostalgic for my home back in Korea.
sameee... :(
Jeju and Busan are on my bucket list. Both have beautiful beaches and wonderful food. (I watch ALOT of Korean tv shows)
Excellent content BuzzFeed- this is what we're here for! It's always great to learn something new about a different culture!
YB eating is my religion
im interested
We can make a religion from this
I need more YB food videos asap!! I missed her!
Wow! As an American living in Busan, South Korea, you made me miss Jeju! It's been a couple of years since I have been there, and I must admit that the food there is awesome. I lived in Jeju for 6 months as an English teacher. I miss the food , the beach, city hall....Ahh the momories😊

I really enjoyed your video. I have always wanted to visit Jeju Island. Thanks!

This video is amazing! One of my favorites by BuzzFeed
This was fascinating, definitely need a series of this!
Korean food is amazing and Korean is just amazing
So heartwarming to see you eating with your family!!
Omg I wanna try Korean food sm🤦🏻♂️
Yea fr just go to LA, that's the closest you'll get to authentic Korean food outside of Korea.
The area around dc has good Korean food too. Annandale VA is basically little Korea town.
Come to Sydney Australia. We have heaps of Korean uni students studying here so LOTS of authentic Korean restaurants around.
I loved this video! I am Korean American myself and have been to Korea 3 times. I have a huge passion for Korean food and really miss all the snacks and kimbap :( .... hopefully I'll go back soon!
there is not "sea of japan"
수에즈 I know
That's 동해, the east sea!
수에즈 it is Sea of Japan 🇯🇵
In Korea its East Sea, internationally its Sea of Japan
Thank you YB for the video it was awesome and brought back many good memories!
Now I really want to go to Jeju.
Eden Lewis same
I really hope YB makes this a series! It could be a food and travel blog around other countries
Sea of East. Not japan

I am fasting and its safe to say that Korean food is very tempting.
누님 덕분에 2005년에 마지막으로 갔었던 추억이 새록새록나네요. 감사합니다 유투브 동영상이 이렇게 감성적으로 만들줄 몰랐어요

That was a huuuuuge bowl of porridge😱😱
Your family is so cute! Thank you for sharing this beautiful trip. 😍
Would anyone in the BF Team have time to go to England and explore their landmarks and food?
There is BF London office & they did a Worth It series.
Besides, there are a ton of London vacation & travel shows and videos. It's like asking for more Yankees coverage.
Watch Uk Buzzfeed
This was so nostalgic to watch! I really miss Jeju and if any of you visit Korea you must go to Jeju Island! YB, awesome video & it's so cute how you say Jeju ahaha.

Great video, you’re my favourite on buzzfeedvideo for sure! Looking forwards to the next adventure!!

I wanna try kimchi, tteokbokki, mochi, and patbingsoo...
I wish you go to Daegu bcs ma husband come from there
*just kidding😂😅
Min Yoonji I can understand the joke cuz I'm an ARMY
I live in South Korea now, and I saw you went to a “beef and leaf”. I mean that’s what the army wives call it. And it is so good! We got the pork, and we had gotten a dumpling kimchi soup and it was honestly so good!
Love her😍❣️
O my god... I just love her voice😍
I could listen to her talk for the whole day 💕
Ah... now i'm craving Korean food for dinner😏
SB is such an angel 😊 she should make more videos!!
I love you but you should say the island's name as Jeh-Joo, not Jay-Joo
kimchii she says it correctly later in the video (I was cringing too don’t worry)
kimchii I was like.. are you sure it’s not je joo
dyarki, i know i heard since i watched the whole vid, but then she repeated the mistake in the end. ohwell
I think she was attempting to pronounce in a more American accent. I cringed too though because she kept saying it that way throughout the video
It's so nice to see the different food from other cultures, like in Belgium we don't eat fish and rice as much as in Asia
this makes me hungry
Jungkookie xoxo ARMY
I live in Korea, but it was very cool to see this video as I’ll be visiting Jeju Island in July.
5:09 thats an indonesian snack called Enaak its like uncooked ramen with seasonings on it... its very yummy
Her family is beautiful!
damn, now I want to go to Korea.
I got back from spending two weeks in Korea and I loved it. I was able to visit Geoje Island and Oedo Island and it was so beautiful. I hope to visit Jeju next time!
