  • THIS Is How The Indiana Fever DEMOLISHED The Chicago Sky
    The Indiana Fever just DESTROYED the Chicago Sky. Although Chennedy Carter didn’t play, this was an EMBARRASSING loss by Chicago. Caitlin Clark had a historic game, tallying 32 points, 12 assists, and 5 threes. How did they do it? In this video, I break it down.

      Which is why the WNBA did the following: 1- posting 3 straight posts bragging about Reese's double double; 2- and eventually after that just before the next WNBA game, bragging about Caitlin having 20+ points and 12 assists, deceiving those who didn't watch the game into not realizing that she had over 30 points.

      If you watched the first 8 or 10 Fever games this year, you know CC was a rookie. She just learns fast and works extremely hard.

  • @NADRIPmusic
    @NADRIPmusic 18 днів тому +52

    One thing I found striking about this game. After the game, reporters asked CC if she was thinking about winning awards while playing and CC said that's not the right attitude to play basketball, to do that would to be a bad teammate, and she didn't do that and she didn't believe Angel Reese did either.
    But interestingly, at the end of the game when the Fever pulled first CC and then the rest of the starters and emptied the bench at that point Angel Reese had 7 points and 9 rebounds. And the Chicago Sky also pulled starters and emptied the bench EXCEPT they left Angel Reese in. And, in the last 2-3 minutes, playing against end of benchers, Angel Reese had 3 points and 1 rebound reaching 10 & 10 for a "double-double" and you KNOW she is thinking about her stats.
    In all my years of watching sports, including historic games older than I am, I've NEVER seen a starter refuse to leave the court when the game was over and backups were getting a few minutes just so that starter could pad stats. I feel like this is possible the WORSE BASKETBALL PLAY I've ever seen, as CC said it shows a player who is such a bad teammate that Angel Reese would deny an end of bencher a few minutes just so Angle Reese could pad stats. Now I understand why Mabrey and another Chicago player have asked for trades. NO ONE likes to play with a cancer.
    I'm kind of torn bringing this up here because I know Carter you try to handle situations with grace and give dignity to everyone. But I feel like this has to be mentioned, and it would be a video people would want to see. I would like you to do it, if your'e interested, because I know you would handle it gracefully, being appropriately critical when it's due but not unnecessarily so. I mean, a cancer can't help being a cancer. It's necessary to identify a cancer but I know other UA-camrs would probably start cursing Reese and doing some unnecessary things like that and that's not necessary. Anyway, hope you make a video about this if you agree it's newsworthy.

    • @a2knyc
      @a2knyc 18 днів тому +9

      But then CC fans rage about how Sides took out CC on defensive played when she was 1 rebound shy of a triple double. They have zero self awareness. The team was DESPERATE for wins, and doing offense defense subs for CC makes total sense when every play is gonna have a timeout after. And to this day, no matter how much I explain, they still rage, and one even called me a hater. The only stat that matters to CC are the wins. She has shown this over and over. She does whatever gives her team the best chance to win. And this is the legacy of CC, to answer the ridiculous question that reporters pose to a 22 year old - that no matter how much she shines, it's about the team.

    • @a2knyc
      @a2knyc 18 днів тому +7

      And speaking of another Carter, the one who was out today for the Sky, she wanted nothing to do with the Reese stat padding. Twice she wanted to dribble out the ball, when the game was already lost, but Angel was begging for it, to get that double double. She even gave Reese a chance against NY, but when that failed, she denied Reese a second chance. And the bad blood seemed to start that day. Sure, Chennedy has her issues, and she is unhappy she isn't getting credit yet for her play (fixing a reputation takes time), but when it comes down to it, both CC has a lot more in common with the other CC, than Clark has with Reese.

    • @NADRIPmusic
      @NADRIPmusic 17 днів тому +5

      @@a2knyc Agreed. Fully. I have seen "fans" like you describe, unfortunately. But I believe any true fan of CC is also a fan of her attitude of, as you mentioned, being all about her team and trying to win in a fair and responsible way, ie not dirty, not trying to injure someone. So here's at least one CC fan who supports you saying that. A small consolation perhaps, but we're not all maniacs LOL.

    • @JS-ie9gk
      @JS-ie9gk 17 днів тому +4

    Luv this Indiana Fever game spanking destruction of the Chicago Sky, it was truly a masterful display of basketball precision skill artwork - in the words of the Great One Jackie Gleason : How Sweet It Is !
    Needless to say, Caitlin Clark with every game that she plays is only getting better, breaking every record she hasn't broken yet, mastering her game to utter perfection, sharpening her 3 point dime dropping shots, passing assists, inside lay ups, mid-range drop shots, and cutting down on turnovers, as her teammates become more and more in sync with Caitlin Clark's timing, game making plays, passing assists, and rapid pace.
    The Indiana Fever because of Caitlin Clark is now a potent dominant force to be reckoned with, are coming after you and are going to run you over like a freight train on the way to the play-offs, championship title game !
    Caitlin Clark is undeniably the ROTY, and in my humble opinion MVP by virtue of her impact on the Indiana Fever, dragging it's sorry last place asset out of the gutter rankings for the last 8 years, and into play-off contention, possibly even making it to championship title game, and here's the MVP clincher : all done in spite of having the worst coach in WNBA history, although I have to say to my surprise, she is getting much better as evident in this game

    Sky game plan: We can't let A Biston beat us with assists. Result: Clark 12. We can let K Mitchell lead Fever in scoring; Redilt: Mitchell gets her 20+ AND Clark - 31. We can't let L Hull bear us in the boards; Result N Smith gets 7 (& 24 pts) in only 19 minutes lead Fever. We can't let Clark lead the Fever and blow us out; Resuot: She did. There's 40 minute, and the Fever showed up for more minutes.
    Fever are cooking and seem to be spotting mismatches in quickness. With thei ball movement and other players turning "I wanna be like Mike" into "Gonna make a mark like Clark" Fever are difficult to defend.

It took a few games at the beginning of the season for the rest of the team to see that all she wanted to do is win games. Now they are all looking for Caitlin to take the shot or get a tremendous dish from her. When they get that pass they make the most and finish the score. That is the true play of not just a Rookie of the Year but an MVP.

One landed in Kelz hands about 8 to 10 ft for a dime. She takes treys in a nano second. You do realize she’s the boss on the floor, she knows where everyone is, and then finds the open player. You think she should just release the ball to the first player that may be open, when there’s someone that may have a better % shot or possible trey ?
