I have a question, why is Brittney Griner playing pro ball? Brings nothing at all to the game or team. This has nothing to do with any of the drama surrounding Britney Griner. My opinion is 100% about no skill for the game. Griner brings height, other than that nota.

This was one of your best videos. Your use of game clips makes your channel a real learning experience. I agree a breakdown on Napheesa Collier would be a great video for you to try. She seems to be so "under control", I don't think she gets much attention. Maybe you could shed some light on how much she is a factor in the Lynx program.

Look, this is the problem with a fast-paced team. They are used to quick-hit scoring. The Fever is a team that feeds off of it's offensive ability. When a defense adjusts and the Fever cool down a bit, the lack of team discipline starts showing up. All of a sudden there are Dumb iso plays, One and done possessions. CC is just as guilty of this. These are the types of possessions that fuel the opposing team. The Fever players (yes and you CC) don't want to do the hard work of basketball which is.... RUN A HALF COURT, PLAY TOUGH DEFENSE. Wouldn't it be great if all you did the entire game was fastbreak? That's not how basketball works for any long-term success. Yes, keep up the fast pace when it works, but recognize when you need to adjust your offense and run a half court. 4:54 - CC buries herself under the basket and picks up dribble. This is an example of overplaying a fast-paced game. Set up a half court and run it. If CC really wants to be a point guard she has to round out here game and not just dribble into trouble and expect the team to magically bail her out. This type of play drives coaches crazy. Really, the team needs to mature more and do the hard work required. Sides gets criticism, but I suspect she is really trying to round out their game and grow them up. The Fever is getting better and they pulled it together here. If they can mature their game, they are going to be a hard team to stop. To be fair here, when the Fever are at their best, They are exposing the generally the lazy un-athletic play of the WNBA. Exactly the same way the European teams in the Olympics forced the men's Team USA to REALLY play basketball. It wasn't enough to trade baskets and slop around on defense.

Sides threw the team under the bus (AGAIN) saying they lost the lead because they are young and not experienced. WTF these girls have been playing all their life. The team always loses leads after half time adjustments made by COACH SIDES. Clark coming up court slowly looking like she has no energy is because this slowdown is what coach told her to do. Clark realizes this is NOT what they should be doing. Bad defense Sides alleged strength is defense. Fever won in spite of Sides not because of Sides. This could be a playoff team coached correctly. Especially when Temi Fagbenle is back.

On defense Katie Lou, Dantas, and Clark all seem to fade to the paint on defense leading to open shots. On offense our team just isnt deep, Wheeler takes over at the point our magical distribution is gone, Dantas takes over for Boston or Smith you lose scoring/cutting options. With backups in you gotta slow the game down to Princeton pace so the starters can get back where they should be asap.

I agree CC stopped shooting. I was thinking she was almost being a ball hog in the 1st quarter but that's what the team needs

As much as I want to think coach Sides was getting better and understanding how to play her team. I realize she’s just a run of the mill middle school level coach. She’s like the team when they just standing around lost. That’s Sides in a nut shell. She’s over her head and has nothing in her bag except a note that says I got nothing! Phoenix coach did what good coaches do. Sides looked like a mom came out of the stands to coach her kids team for the day.

Like Stan Van Gundy always say: You may not be coaching it but, as a coach, you are allowing it.

PHX third quarter was simply due to their mix of various ZONES which IND did not adjust well. IND needs to break zones by running wild.

Caitlin Clark is hamstrung by the incompetence of Christie Sides. Caitlin Clark has to woman up and tell Christie Sides to go fu@k off and stop pretending to be a coach! If Caitlin Clark does not do that, she will possibly spend a very short career in the WNBA before she just has mental breakdown due to Christie Side's incompetent bullshit!

Every slow down and every single loss of a substantial lead is is the abysmal incompetence of Christie Sides. The only game she knows is a post up in the paint, in fact that is the only basketball she can talk about. Christie Sides thinks that once you have a 30 point lead that you should slow the abll down and go into the common WNBA half court toss the ball arouns pointlessly until the shot clock runs out. Christie Sides has no clue as to what is happening when Caitlin Clark has the team running. So, she wants to be involved but is really clueless. If she was to not show up for the next six games, the Fever would dominate the next six games. However, with Christie Sides as coach, the Fever will be extremely lucky to win 3 of the next six games. She might even find yet another way to lose to the worst team in the league. As a head coach Christie Side is wasting some of the best talent in the current WNBA and she does not have the ability to "see" it.

This is what young teams do, they are crazy inconsistent. We've seen this Fever team blow leads and come back from huge deficits both this year. That consistency comes with age, as Clark and Boston grow they will become a well oiled machine and not have these up and down swings of explosiveness

Mr Carter, you made an assessment of the Indiana players good plays and bad plays in the first and second quarter vs 3rd quarter, then 4th quarter. Caitlin Clark was getting tired, ok maybe, but she's also not superman. Caitlin Clark was clearly frustrated with Christie Sides, her inept nonsense coaching decisions during the third quarter. CC got some of her momentum back in the 4th quarter. Caitlin Clark did most of the point scoring in the first half. Kelsey Mitchell stepped up big time with her critical deep 3s, as did Katie Lou when needed which helped to seal the win In all this critique of the players you never mentioned what Coach Christie Sides did and or didn't do, her sideline decisions, only calling a time out when the 31 point lead was nearly evaporated in the 3rd quarter, when a good coach would have called it far earlier. What about her taking CC out of the game with Mitchell ? I mean Chrisite Sides was supposed to be in charge.

Christie Sides is a huge part of the blowing a 20+ point lead thing. She's in over her head. She seems to have no defensive or offensive schemes drawn up, so she does nothing. Won't even call a strategic time out to kill the opponent's momentum. No offensive inbound or defensive inbound plays. Nothing. She seems overwhelmed tbh...
