I'm glad you got to catch this one. Although bitter sweet Borracchinis bakery was a "go to" for cakes for EVERYTHING in our dept! From Birthdays to retirement. The amount of smoke that put out was amazing. Drove up to the scene around 9 pm just to get a last look and could still see hot spots burning through. Nice job on catching this one my friend! 😁
@@petewilliamsiv3512 No doubt we know some of the same people ! What is now So. Pierce I was part of KCFSD #39 From early 80s thru mid 90s. I also was f/f- EMT at Boeings Paine field when we finally broke the guard union and became IAFF! I truly loved my job, I miss it everyday.
Had to marvel at the traffic fuster cluck up until SPD got control of the streets. I love to watch lemmings leading other lemmings to drive every which way but out-of-the-way of the SFD. Also, AWESOME parallel-park job at 16:16 ! Cheers!
Oof, yeah, there were definitely some questionable driving choices. That's also a messy area with a lot of streets coming together at weird angles, so SFD/SPD had their hands full trying to block off the roads. Thanks for watching!
it really was smokey & it was a Really good fire that i had in a while & we had to mask up when we were in the smoke pathway & i was in the Wst Seattle junction next to ladder 11 when i open the officer side door to talk with the driver well the other member was in QFC for dinner & the first thing the driver says to me we got a Full Response then i went to station 32 to look up where on rainier it was on & i did add 3 picture on flicker & when i got home from the 2-11 i was worn out
@@SeattleTrafficCams lol no engine 32 was ground out that day and i had my bike and soon as i got near the Harbor Ave SW & S Spokane St do use the lower Bridge i could see the dark black smock peeking the hill
It is a shame that people would get in the way. Tied the street up so it would make it harder for them too get there. It is harder for them to deal with the fire but now they have to deal with you.

Thanks Cyndi! I'm farther north so I never made it to Borracchini's, but I've heard it was really good. Thanks for watching!

it's about to drive me crazy watching these firefighters dealing with this traffic 😬
You would think that people would turn off the street. That if they have any common sence. But I totally agree with you.
Great catch! This one was huge.
Thanks! Yeah, this was a big one for sure. Wish the camera had been a bit closer, but I can't complain too much :-)
Great catch on the tiller drift!
Thank you - lucky timing for sure!
New video! Let’s go. (Great vid)
Thanks for watching!
I loved the 360 U-turn by the white van in front of an oncoming engine. Glad the SPD showed up to control the bumper cars.
Yeah, that one was especially bad. SPD seemed like they had a fast response time for a change. Thanks for watching Bruce!
I'm watching this fom my other channel. I'm SAER. good vid lucas
Nice job brother
Thanks Andrew!

Glad you had masks - it was a really smoky fire! Sounds like good timing meeting up with L11 - did you get a ride with a crew from 32s?

Along with a new aid unit!
Good eye! Yeah, they've upgraded all of the medic units, and now some of the Aid units seem to be getting new rigs too.

I have watched a few fires calls in the town of seattle. what is with these people in seattle, one brain cell to much for them to manage?
It's true, many of our drivers leave something to be desired...
