The loop is actually about 35 seconds long, I think you missed it the first time, unless there's some VERY subtle difference in what I think is two loops to make it actually just one.

My head canon is that the sign doesn't work unless he(?) executes the dance perfectly and then runs that exact route and the only way he knows this is because he's been alive for an indescribably long time and just experimented until he discovered it.
And we're watching the part where he's trying to escape that hellhole that keeps looping. But he just can't figure it out. He knows the sign leads to a way out. But he just can't figure it out. :( So he just keeps on going.. 😞

The combination of animation, sound design and timing has such a nice flow that it keeps the viewer hooked. The ''actual'' video is only 0:35 seconds but by making it very L O N G it makes you re-watch it until you're satisfied. I'm H o o k e d
The classic red circle and arrow on the thumbnail is the icing on top of this silly animation if I had to be honest, and I also now have a bond with this shaggy freak for watchin him more than 10 minutes
they say the way a character walks can convey a lot without the character having any emotion. This is why I think Felix is such a master at animation when most of his characters have only eyes, no mouth, no eyebrows yet we know exactly their feelings
I'm so sad to see him bounce off a sign after repeating a certain move (probably this move speeds up) and get to the starry zone and try to move forward but keep failing to escape because of the stars I hope he succeeds in escaping that suburb one day.
to be honest, those special UA-cam emojis really looks like something Felix would come up with (they're kind of unusually extreme with the facial expressions and big ass eyes)

i think i understood what the animation wants to show its like this: the guy was going to a place by using a bus but he got late and the bus already went to the place that its trajectory was,then he tries to follow where the bus went but he cant because the stars dont let him pass, because the space doesnt let him pass because probably only that bus can go past that part and the stars are the "guardians" of that path, it's like the bus has VIP acess and only the bus can pass, and the 1 hour video is probably because the guy wanted so bad to go to that place that he stayed there for one whole hour, that probably in that world of felix's animation time passes different but the time i dont know exactly because felix is felix his animations are umm you know, then after the guy tried so bad to get past the stars the universe punished him by making him unable to do actions, you can see that on the end of the video that it glitches making him unable to go again to space

This video made me realize how BADLY I wish a studio would hire Felix to animate the old cancelled movie "The Thief and the Cobbler" It could have been a masterpiece and Felix would be the perfect animator to spearhead a studio on it.

In a baseplate of streets, there was the suburbs and the cameraman waiting for the bus to come, eventualy the suburbs ran until he found a beware sing, he tried to smash the beware sing but instead he got slingshooted to space, there, he got hit by stars and eventualy they sent the suburbs back to the baseplate, meanwale, in this entire time the cameraman recorded everthing, and this became a loop for 1 hour, but one moment the cameraman was slingshooted with the suburbs intro space but as they got pushed by the stars they got boosted out of the range of the baseplate, but in this moment the camera sliped away from the cameraman 's hands, eventualy, the camera was the only thing to fly back intro the baseplate, but the cameraman and the suburbs were never found
