Hello. Did you know that the original version of the Marvel Illuminati will NEVER appear in the MCU? Do you know Why? Just wondering... Because I Know Why. Namor is the problem... Because DC did an Aquaman film, Marvel will likely NOT do a Namor Film. They don't want to be accused of imitating the DCEU... So unless Namor Appears as a Villain at first(comics Accurate) he won't ever be in the MCU. The rest should be fine, but... Yeah. Disappointing, isn't it?

It might have been worth mentioning how the name for the group was conceived. Who suggested it? My thought is, Doctor Strange, but that's just a guess.

I just realized that the lines drawn in Civil War remind me a lot about the fight over the comics code authority. Tony Stark even gives the same reasons to support the registration as some companies gave for developing the code.

This is a great team that Marvel should have handled better, like how the hell did they get captured? Couldn't Dr Strange telaport them? Or couldn't Charles trick the enemies? At least Hickman gave these men a good run. I hope they somehow come back with a legendary run.
Skrulls have super powers, but also 50,000 year tech lead. There is a reason why we are able to beat them, but you'd have to read giant sized uncanny X-Men #11 and then the entire history of the eternals lolz. There's a reason that movie was thrown out there.

The dynamic between tchalla and namor during hickman's secret wars is my favorite part. Love tchalla and especially his king of the dead powers in the conclusion of battleword is soooo cool. I always thought reed was boring before this but i like him a lot after this run.
I remember reading The Illuminati in the mid 2000s when it was 1st released &:,, noticing that Professor X was being drawn to resemble Patrick Stewart.. the actor who was playing him in the X Men movies which were then being released..& i wasn't a big fan of that..IMO the books should influence the movies..& NOT the other way around. Dr. Strange & The Illuminati doing the mind wipe on Cap wasn’t hated/controversial but when Batman’s mind get wiped bc of Dr. Light that was seen in a different light. Two very different story lines but kinda the same too.
Batman already had more trust issues than cap. This making it a bigger betrayal for the character. Not to mention it'sore expected from the illuminati than the justice league.

What's funny is The Sentry couldn't defeat Worldbreaker Hulk but Ghost Rider almost did, but ended up leaving mid battle because Blaze didn't deem Hulk as "Guilty" at the time
World War Hulk had to talk his way out of fighting Dr.Strange and Sentry. Strange"s Zom power outclassed Hulk and Sentry told Hulk the Void will destroy Earth and everyone on it if Hulk loses so Banner calmed Sentry with friendly words and blows, Sentry reverts with Banner on his own... only Sentry can revert himself you can't force him.

The dynamic between tchalla and namor during hickman's secret wars is my favorite part. Love tchalla and especially his king of the dead powers in the conclusion of battleword is soooo cool. I always thought reed was boring before this but i like him a lot after this run.
I remember reading The Illuminati in the mid 2000s when it was 1st released &:,, noticing that Professor X was being drawn to resemble Patrick Stewart.. the actor who was playing him in the X Men movies which were then being released..& i wasn't a big fan of that..IMO the books should influence the movies..& NOT the other way around.

Dr. Strange & The Illuminati doing the mind wipe on Cap wasn’t hated/controversial but when Batman’s mind get wiped bc of Dr. Light that was seen in a different light. Two very different story lines but kinda the same too.
Batman already had more trust issues than cap. This making it a bigger betrayal for the character. Not to mention it'sore expected from the illuminati than the justice league.

What's funny is The Sentry couldn't defeat Worldbreaker Hulk but Ghost Rider almost did, but ended up leaving mid battle because Blaze didn't deem Hulk as "Guilty" at the time

World War Hulk had to talk his way out of fighting Dr.Strange and Sentry. Strange"s Zom power outclassed Hulk and Sentry told Hulk the Void will destroy Earth and everyone on it if Hulk loses so Banner calmed Sentry with friendly words and blows, Sentry reverts with Banner on his own... only Sentry can revert himself you can't force him.
