Did they say that Cable's powers where enhanced by the Techno-organic virus? He's not able to fully utilize his abilities since having to keep the virus incheck that would otherwise kill or convert him. Thats what i always understood
Yes, and that's still the case, but there's one key difference. In the past, they said he should be an omega without the virus stopping him from using his full abilities. As of 2019 however, he's not an omega at all. The omega list retconned the omega status of multiple mutants. Cable is one of them. He would still be more powerful than normal if the virus wasn't stopping him from using his full power, but even without the virus, his powers wouldn't be omega level anymore.
@@mattdekker5693 Oh, allow me to explain then. He has telepathy and telekinesis, similar to his mother (Madelyne Pryor), but his telepathy is nowhere near as powerful as Madelyne's or Jean's. His telekinesis is more impressive, but he's constantly using it at a molecular level to keep the techno-organic virus from killing him, so he can only use so much of his telekinesis outside of that. Btw, Cable doesn't have robot parts. That's the techno-organic virus that is turning his body into metal and trying to control him. The only thing keeping it from spreading across his body and taking his body over is his own telekinesis holding it at bay. If the techno organic virus took over fully, it could either kill him or it will control him as a techno-organic being which will try to spread the virus further. He does use a gun and some other futuristic gadgets though, you're right about that.
Cable was constantly using his telekinesis to hold back the virus, like a muscle when you use it constantly your strengthen it. His brain based powers (which are all but physical stuff for him) got better over time because he kept using it so much. Thats why it enhanced him. So when the virus was finally.oht of his system he was extremely powerful. Also, writers kept adding to him over the years.

Storm is my favourite Beyond Omega Level Mutant ! Compare her to Thor and Zeus and see her popularity ? They're just Thunder Gods meanwhile, she is the Goddess of all Weather (including Thunderbolts). She can manipulate matter which Thor and Zeus, can't ! She is the Queen of Wakanda, and a daughter of a priestess of Elder Goddess Oshtur, the mother of the same Eye of Agamotto, that Dr. Strange wears. Not just that she can conjure magic, she is a descendant of an Ancient One, Ayesha ! Remember the time when the Tarot chose Storm as a "High Priestess" over Agatha Harkness and Scarlett Witch. She is so powerful that she was an Avatar of Eternity and only person that is able to that is Dr. Strange, nobody else !!!! Even Black Panther considered her a greater God than Adversary, a demonic God. Remember, how she was one of the only 4-5 mutants left alive on the Mutant Island on Mars known as Arrako where only Omega level mutants can inhabit, unlike Krakoa ? When Uranos, who was one of the mightiest Eternal, the great-uncle of Thanos, wiped all that population of million or more Omega level mutants in one hour ? She kept Magneto alive even when his heart was ripped off by Uranos, Storm kept him alive on the Thunder and Lightning 🌩️ Also, she once summoned the entire galactic core consisting of millions of suns and planets to purge the brood infection within her. She has Energy Vision and can see the entire world in the form of energy or without it. Storm once used some wizards and witches' energy to create a portal based on lightning and teleported herself and others from realm to realm. She is an accomplished pilot (though she can fly), remember that she can fly the Blackbird? Storm was the third mutant that Professor Xavier met before founding the X-Men (the first being Magneto, followed by Sage). Storm is currently one of the only people on Earth-616 who has been a member of the X-Men, Avengers, and Fantastic Four (Spiderman and Wolverine being the other). She is very under-rated.
@@mandolorian162 Clearly shows you don't read the comics but are a new age MCU baby. Storm kept him alive by charging his heart with volts and volts of thunder current. Zeus is just a god of one pantheon that is Greek, Storm is universal. He definitely can't contain the Eternity like Storm could, hence, he's nowhere close to her.
@@abc_cba You sound more like a Mcu bady than the other guy does, becuase most of this information sounds like it comes from a very inaccurate wiki page. Both Thor and Zeus can manipulate the weather in general not just lightning. All three of them can manipulate matter because thats how weather manipulation works. Storm can't control matter not connected to weather based energy, but Zeus can. What makes Storm special is that she has a more precise control over the elements. Thor and Zeus either can't or just don't care enough to do that. Storm isnt the Queen of Wakanda anymore. Ayesha was a Sorserer supreme not an Ancient one. The Ancient one was also a Sorcerer supreme but he isnt related to Storm, he's the dude that thought Doctor Strange. Storm wasnt chosen to be high priestess above Agatha and Wanda. The Tarots listed all three as potential candidates with Storm being the least likely because she doesnt know how to use magic yet. Plus Agatha already had the title for years before losing it because she died (she came back to life but no longer has the title) and she was training Wanda to take her place. When Dr strange said that he and Storm or the only people with the strength of spirit to hold Eternity he was refering to the people present, not in general. No way are they only people strong enough to host eternity when there are dozens of people who spiritual, mentally or even magically stronger than both conbined. Black panther said that in order to beat a god "you need a bigger god" so he made Storm into a bigger god by having all of the people in Wakanda prey to her at once, but she was a smaller god without wakanda's faith. Arakko isnt made up of only Omega level mutants, its the council that leads them thats made up of only Omegas. Plus Storm surviving Arakko's genocide isnt impressive, because SHE WASNT THERE when it was destroyed. Magneto was already keeping himself alive, all Storm did was boost his powers so he could fight at full strength and hold himself together longer. She can't charge his heart because he didnt have any. Storm isnt a universal goddess, she's only called a god in certain small parts of Africa lol. (And maybe among mutants) Also when ever the patheons get together Zeus is normally scene as top dog. Storm isnt even on there radar. Zeus is a king god, a skyfather. He so far above Storm it int even funny. He can strip other gods of there godhood, create life, beat the crap out of the avengers and absolutly wreak guys like Hulk, Hercules and Thor. While Thor (whose weaker than Zeus) was able to cancel out Storms powers during to Contest of champions. Plus even though he doesnt have to same feats as Odin its been stated that there equals, and Odin is deffinitely stronger than storm.
Storm is actually the goddess of natural balance, Hadari Yao, who is in contact with the core of creation. her magic potential is so strong that she is predicted to be as powerful as the Scarlet Witch if she ever practiced magic. her will power is of such a magnitude that she is able to host the cosmic entity, Eternity. the problem with Storm is that they only show her using her omega-level mutant power of weather manipulation. yes, she can do great feats with her mutant power (like creating a star, jovian pressure fields, a magnetic tornado, etc.), but i have no idea why the writera are holding her back and stopping her from using her divine (goddess) and mystical (witch) abilities.

I feel bad for Matthew Malloy being a raced from existence because you’re literally so powerful that when you have a mental break down, it starts destroying reality is a raw deal. No one wants to be that powerful.
Matt Malloy's real problems lie in the fact that he only appears in the story that he appears in. He has NO personality whatsoever, barely any time to properly develop a character, and then casually gets removed from existence via another established character's Time-Travel abilities. Another thing I found annoying was Professor X. I never really felt all that good about how, despite him wanting a world of peace between Mutants and those who are not, he's never really had a regular person be brought on to, well, give the school a bit of character as well as broaden views of anyone narrow-minded that only saw Mutants for their powers instead of the people they are past them. A club exclusive for mutants was flawed and should've been more inclusive to have allowed for people on the opposite side of that dichotomy to understand what they were about. Prof. X always came off to me as manipulative and rather ruthless sometimes. NOT always, just some of the time. He left behind a number of idiot things for the X-Men to deal with when he perished- this whole Malloy thing was an egregious fallout that made him look bad considering how his students and old enemies handled it. Malloy was just another sad pawn getting tugged between several powerful factions vying for control over him, and in the end, they got screwed. I was pissed when the final solution, from Prof. X himself, was to arrange for Malloy to have NEVER existed at all, making sure neither of his parents ever met. And then mindwiping himself to avoid facing the truth of his own twisted deed.
My question is, why does Cable always use guns and gadgets? I always here about Cable's telekinetic and mental abilities, but every comic I have read about Cable is always the same...he goes to some point in time for whatever reason and shots at people until he finds the MacGuffin he needs to save the future...or the past (rarely the present)
That was a big miss in this video. Cable never got cured of the tevhnovirus and spends most of his power fighting it off. There is a comic with him and Deadpool where Cable uses Deadpools healing to cure himself and is able to use his power to the fullest. And by fullest I mean he creates a floating continent for mutants to live on and the entire thing is actively being held together and constructed by his mind. So metal arm(technovirus bit) cable is basically relegated to just being a dude with a gun.
For Ultimate Universe Magneto, Ultimatum did not directly lead to the merging of the 616 and Ultimate universe. It happened much later and was tied to multiversal collisions

I stopped regularly collecting comics after 1998. It seems like after that point most magic story arcs involved creating "even MORE powerful mutants!" It just seems like making something strong is a way to avoid being original or creative. I think that's what I miss the most about the Claremont era of my childhood. I just miss storylines that deal with clever enemies and plots rather than a new more powerful player has bought it.

Insanity is an easy way to nerf reality warpers. Since Franklin has been a kid for most of his publication history, writers haven’t needed to nerf him in the ways they need adult reality warpers because being a kid is already a “nerf”.
Also a logical way as a result. I mean, if reality and what is real is literally a decision of your mind, going insane by that amount of power makes sense. How can you ever be certain that reality is how it is or how you changed it? Where is the difference? Was there ever reality to begin with? Did anything existed before you did? Are you even existing yourself or did you created yourself? Those are things that can Understandably shatter a human mind. Kids are normally less affected by it, because sense of self and reality is less solid as a kid. Which can be even more dangerous, since a lack of control can result out of it

(19:32) Earlier in the video, you stated CORRECTLY that Cable (or Nathan Summers) was the child of Cyclops and MADELINE PRIOR, not Jean Grey, but here in the section about Strife you DID make that mistake! While Madeline Prior was technically a CLONE of Jean Grey, and shares a lot of genetic similarities, she actually was NOT a genetic copy. As a result, saying Cable’s mom was Jean because Madeline was a clone is flawed logic. Madeline’s genetics were altered both deliberately and accidentally to such an extent that if a geneticist was to compare Madeline and Jean, they would identify them as two distinct individuals, but from the same immediate family. Jean Grey’s relation to Cable would best be the equivalent as being his Aunt, as Madeline is best compared with Jean as being her twin sister, genetically being somewhere between identical and fraternal..
The genes of mutant clones behave differently than would a human clones. As Ms. Grays genes have already been altered due to several exposures to The Phenix Force, Ms. Pryor's cells would have been altered in the same manner from that original spark of The Phenix Force as Gean Gray expired. She is a clone not a new being that merely was began from genetic tissue from Gean, therefore identical in a way beyond a simple biological identical twin. The DNA strain is perfectly exact instead of a twins extremely close as a twin would be.
I feel like powerhouse would need a second awakening to truly be an omega level. It would probably just enhance her abilities. Make it to where anyone within a certain radius gets drained, maybe she could even drain a planet like Earth of its "life force"
Phoenix is the 2nd most powerful entity in Marvel. The Goblin Force is nowhere near Phoenix's power. It says this a few times during the Dark Phoenix Saga the first time "Phoenix is a primal force, second only to that the creator"
Hold on a second you just said Iceman was speculated to be gay and that this increased his popularity which I'm not really sure what you mean but writers totally ignored his previous life and came out with an Iceman comic title in which he was very very gay to the point where there's no doubting so speculation is kind of insane. Not only that but that title was canceled not once but twice due to lack of sales. Just the same I don't think the lack of sales is because he was being written as gay but rather it was because it was written horribly.
The primary lesson I've gleaned from this is that Cyclops and Jean Grey must refrain from further procreation, as the mutants they're producing could potentially pose a catastrophic threat to the planet.
@marvelous_videos: You didn't mention on when Iceman froze LEGION to the molecular level fully immediately!! and when a future reality of the Xmen appeared there was a ICE WIZARD (Bobby Drake from the future) that can create sentient ICE creatures!!!
So there's a goblin force stronger than the Phoenix force? Does Green Goblin become its host often? That would make sense. If so, and Spidey was able to best him, that puts Spidey on an even higher level than he is already, which is pretty damn high. He's pretty much the perfect superhero. Brains, brawn, agility, pure of heart...
If the term holds up from when I last checked, he's classified as an Alpha because while his original self body manipulation was powerful, it has limits. Omegas are not supposed to have limits when they get past mental blocks and put in effort to be creative with their powers. Apocalypse was also greatly enhanced by technology which doesn't add to his mutant class apparently.
He's not an omega and never has been. The only time he may have been considered an omega was the New Sun version of him, but that's totally different. Main storyline Gambit is not an omega.
I really thought Darwin was an omega, coz he really does adapt to anything (don't know y they did him so wrong in xmen first class, coz he could have easily adapted to that energy ball from Shaw)

I swear it seems like every x men is or has the potential to be the “strongest mutant is existence “
She kept Magneto alive even when his heart was ripped off by Uranos, Storm kept him alive on the Thunder and Lightning 🌩️
Also, she once summoned the entire galactic core consisting of millions of suns and planets to purge the brood infection within her.
Magneto kept himself alive, Zeus is way more than "a thunder god", Storm is powerful but shes also been dropped by like Toad so ease up 🤣
@@mandolorian162 Clearly shows you don't read the comics but are a new age MCU baby.
@@joshuaharewood1089 MCU? Is storm even part of any MCU crap, yet?

Erased. not sure what a raced is but maybe you do it with a car?...
His virus would kill him of he stopped using his powers to focus on stopping it
That was a big miss in this video.
He uses his powers to prevent the spread of the techno organic virus. It severely limits his upper power level.
he uses guns for the lulz
I think there was another comic where he used his full power…and then the virus took over and milled him
For Ultimate Universe Magneto, Ultimatum did not directly lead to the merging of the 616 and Ultimate universe. It happened much later and was tied to multiversal collisions
Thank u I thought I was the only one that knew that
I came here to say this
Jean is once again a omega level telekinetic as of like a month ago. I'm so glad you included Matthew Malloy.
No, she isn't. She said she was an omega level telepath and telekinetic. However, this was taken by fans incorrectly. She didn't mean she was an omega at both. She's an omega telepath. She is also a telekinetic. That's what the writer meant and the x-office had to clarify afterwards.

Sounds to me that reality warping goes hand in hand with insanity except for Franklin Richards.
Considering he casually creates universes I think he should be higher
@@SkyRider4815 Outside of the one above all, Franklin could be argued the most powerful in marvel given he can bend and shape reality at will which is similar to the One except the one above all predates existence.
Which can be even more dangerous, since a lack of control can result out of it
Tbh deadpool and professor x should be un this list... professor x is arguably the most powerful telepathic then any of them in the marvel universe, and deadpool.. cause he's deadpool and cannot die even tho there be times he's killed himself And he can see through the fourth wall Noone else can do that. That's like being able to see in another dimension or another universe he also literally fell in love with death herself.

This has me cautiously optimistic.

If the term holds up from when I last checked, he's classified as an Alpha because while his original self body manipulation was powerful, it has limits.
