Thanks for the video, I need to change the actuator on my daughter's 04 beetle, it's developed a fault causing the locks to open n close, and occasionally kicks the immobiliser into action, as the connection is intermittent

Pleased to say, all fitted and working as it should. For info, the two lock bolts were M8 splined (12 point) on my car (2008 Cab). Thanks again for the extremely helpful video 👍

Do you know if the actuators are the same as the hard top?

I am not sure, as the convertible will drop the window down, I would use your car reg and go online to a parts website to check.

how would you go about completely changing doors over, cant seem to find any info on complete door change. my passenger door is damaged beyond repair

I would look for a used one online and try and see what the electrical plug is like to the car. If it's hard to reach you could remove all the harness for your door, then insert into the new
