- These are our most offbeat stories of 2023. In April, first responders were called when Ashley Nolan accidentally got her finger stuck in a shopping cart. In May, 13-year-old Owen Burns used a slingshot to save his sister from being kidnapped. In April, one family was very excited at the sight of pink at a gender reveal party because no one in the family had given birth to a girl in over 138 years. Inside Edition Digital has more.

I was diagnosed with anxiety, and I bring a fidget toy just in case. If she really had bad anxiety, she wouldn't keep getting limbs stuck in stuff because it draws attention and people with anxiety usually hate being the center of attention! She needs to find something else to fidget with haha 🙄🙄🙄🙄😂

That poor bobcat!! I’m so concerned that it could have been suffering from internal bleeding, torn muscles or ligaments, fractured or broken bones, or even broken teeth. I’m disappointed that no wildlife rehabbers nor veterinarians were even consulted. It’s not necessarily obvious whether an animal in that situation is injured or not. It’s so frightened and stressed that it’s adrenaline is pumping, it’s frantic to escape, you’re not going to be able to evaluate the animal thoroughly. I would think that having been hit by a moving car, x-rays, possibly ultrasound of the abdomen, and a physical examination to check for all the stuff I mentioned, plus any cuts, scrapes and bruises that must be there. To drag it out and then toss it out and drive away? That animal, if it has a fractured jaw or ribs, internal bleeding, broken teeth, anything like that, it could die slowly and painfully. This moment, having the cat there, knowing what just happened, this is the time to call a wildlife expert, a rehab center. I really sincerely hope that this cat was as unscathed, unharmed as it was acting when it sprang into the truck. ❤😢
