A few more useful tips: 1. Keep an eye out for a timer icon on top of your unit thumbnails on the upper right corner. It lets you know if you left something idle (like a harvester or thopter). 2. To remove any chances of losing troops unnecessarily (especially in early game when you are just capturing villages), make sure your troops are standing on solid rock (not sand) before issuing the order to attack. The militia garrison wont really come out to fight you unless you attack the village so you can just walk up to the village for free. This may make it easier for the enemy melee to get at your ranged units but at least you dont have to worry about the worm.
Lol that made me smile. The trouble with having covered so many games in detail, is I need another 3 of me to keep up with them all! Dune Spice Wars hasn’t left my radar though 🙂
missing info about victory :) start stop fast is as in EU series (HoI, CK), graphic is as Endless Legend (or Space?), play is sometimes hars as Northgard - and this game is most similiar to Nirthgard by gameplay many stats, resources, but for now not so much options :) most influential decision is what you build, you need be positive in water, consturction, manpower and then solars (if you dont want harsh negative modifiers) and authority (for expansion) - i always get good offer only from Harkonens :D - 2nd and other ornitophers die so fast in autoscout, and are too expensive, firstone is immortal :) - in mid late game is hard on normal conequer enemy cities with full army and for example 4 army reserach (with 26 used power, cca 8-9 units) - vote and authority is not big deal, how many authority you must spend for little benefit often without impact?! (best are 3 legions :)) - no diplomacy, treaties are basic, 15% solars/knowledge for 1 authority income game is nice, but still something missing
I like the game, continuing tomorrow after work. But one thing bothers me. How do i build other units than ground troops? I got mauled to hell by Corrino infantry and a tank(?).
I played the beta or test game, and i get a moment when any faction can get more infiltration level and no generate more intel. Is a bug or is a way to put a limit of time to each match?
Hey in one of the video's you said you made a tutorial where you really slowed down and explained what each piece of the game is like resources and such, what link is that, I'm not seeing it on the channel, thank you for your support.
yo, worm keeps randomly popping up and eating my troops without me being able to do anything about it. (yes, without showing ripples in sand) it shows the warning sign for 2 seconds and then it eats my troops, any idea how to stop it?
this is a great tutorial. I mean - on Simpsons there is an episode where everyone and their mother went tutoring so they even had orange peeling class. Well - this is better. I mean - how else would I know obvious game mechanics? Like - you saved me at least 5 minutes of my time! It's just amazing!! I mean - this is less descriptive than in-game tips. How are you so good??
Thats what makes it so special imo. It's not overwhelingly complicated for new players like total war might be. Yet it isn't simple making it very interesting and fun to play nonetheless. Of course other strategy games exist that can take the gameplay to a crazy level but that just isn't as accessible.
The purple/ orange bar is actually a slider. The orange represents how much your selling, purple is how much is being stockpiled for the imperial tithe.
The creators of this game had a very good feel for the character of the Dune novels. I love this game.
Thanks. The voting and assigning agents is the only confusing aspect

Are you the best tuto creator ?! That was more entertaining than the game itself
you can also click on the numbers in trade and votings and drag in one way or the other to de/increase the numbers!
I loved dune 2000, can’t wait to play this one
Emperor Battle for Dune is much much better than Dune 2000 (is weak Red Alert)
Playing it. Played “finished” games that were actually alpha early access. This one is gucci dandy beatiful
Fun game, super polished for early release!
You make the best dune vids out there please come back the game has changed and I need your help lol

Heya! I think you’re probably referring to my beginners guide:

Great video, I was a bit confused with some of these parts. Thanks 😊

@@jakobinobles3263 had them in base (on the rocks) for like 5 minutes before i´ve sent them somewhere
Ok question is the game early access and is like a play test or I get it early and can play until launch
I believe this is a ‘play until launch’ type thing (or at least an extended early access period)
Good Jimmy Carr joke. He'd like it.
how does one gain more man power? i always find myself only making enough man power to field 3 units.
There is the military building "recruitment center". It gives plain manpower.
Also sending agents to the spacing guild
Great stuff! This will be extremely helpful when/if I get the game.
starting to despair of this game Shai Hulud disappeared 4 of my most experienced & well equiped troopers last night GAHHH I cant win

Hello please help how to pay taxes? Thanks.
I don't like the region slow play style. Looks just like Humane Kind ...
As someone who’s played both, this is absolutely nothing like human kind.
"Landsraad" is that dutch for provincial government? is dune dutch? xD
Bit dutch bit of Islam but of Greek. Atriedes are descendants of the Greek atruis and Agamemnon. It's pretty in depth
Press the I key
Common man, 2 days since the game lunch and yoo know 10 tips? Why not 100? :D
You want a 4 hour video! 😅
@@JumboPixel let's do this :D

am i just stupid, i can not figure out how to use the airfields
It’s a little button on the unit card (bottom left). Move ‘em within range of an airfield (press x to reveal airfield circumferences).
@@JumboPixel THANK YOU!
i suck at this game,
i start off ok
then i just get invaded lots grrrrrr
Nice generic overview, but not super useful as actual tips to what works best, where not to focus too much, etc. Will look elsewhere, cheers
