Interview of the Killer.....I love the fact they KNOW everything, she still thinks they believe its a missing person case.... and they are just letting her talk herself out of every possible defense. Well done Officers. I hope you are rewarded with a new audio recording system for your interrogation room.
18:50 Here she is talking with the detective, being all chummy. He's taking about theft and how people shouldn't walk around with lots of cash, and she's like oh yeah, definitely.... Meanwhile, she's buried her friend on her property and poured a slab of concrete over her. How freaking disgusting! TRUE SOCIOPATH!!!
What a real mess Ashley McArthur made of her life. She was born into relative privilege, with beauty and brains. She could have had a really good life. Instead, she wreaked death and destruction. Extraordinary.
Well - are you assuming there is no coherent explanation for how things turned out for her? What is the basis for assuming she could have had a good life? Is there any wider indication that being born into privilege with beauty and brains should imply the kind of pro-social investment, that most people associate with a good life? If she is say a sociopath, psychopath or extreme narcissist - how did she become one? Available research suggests that it would be exceedingly rare for people to just get born into extremes of the personality spectrum. So what produced this person and this behaviour? Can’t have been an all-privileged life, somewhere along the line something contributed to things turning out like they did. Important to properly understand causality if one wants to prevent future instances of the same effects.
@@whynottalklikeapirat It is well established, that where psychopathy is concerned, there are identifiable differences in the brains of psychopaths, from the brains of the normal population. That said, not all those possessing the physical brain characteristics of a psychopath go on to kill. Therefore, the old nature versus nurture argument comes into play. It is also a well established fact that society has a preference for beauty, and that those with good looks are better treated, and more likely to get a job, for example, than a plainer candidate. Privilege and over indulgence can breed their own contempt for the rights of others. Undeniably, though, this woman got a good head start in life. At some point, she made wrong choices with tragic consequences. Therefore, ultimately, irrespective of cause, the responsibility is hers alone.
@@mbd6054 @@mbd6054 I am well aware of the nurture/nature aspects of psychopathy. Those are what I alluded to, and as you kind of mention yourself - having a weird brain does not in and of itself account for destructive behaviour or the lack thereof. In terms of the good life - the point is that if all you can do with beauty is use it to try to flirt with detectives, when you’ve murdered someone then it is not a contributing factor to a good life for anybody, except in terms of getting away with things. Further it’s likely the things you achieve in life simply by virtue of looks. won’t help you when looks fae. And beauty, however we are to define it comes with it’s own set of problems. I have not touched on the question of responsibility at all - I am not interested in it except to say people are legally accountable for their actions, whether they understand the implications or not, except under very specific circumstances. Sadly it is very difficult to discuss causality without people mistaking it for a discussion about excusing, rather than understanding behaviour, and I can only assume that this is because they more concerned with assigning blame than actually being able to explain the phenomenon. Murdering someone is not just any old “wrong choice”. It is an extreme and callous act, and callous acts are neither born out of or explained by folk notions of what does and does not constitute “a good head start in life”. It takes extreme circumstances to get a person with normal empathy to kill someone else, never mind committing pre-meditated murder simply for monetary gain. Point being that the case in point reflect the actions of a warped personality, and warped personalities do not come out of the thin air, and they are not the product of unfortunate errors of judgment. Nor are they out of hand explained (away) by pointing to some physiological defect as a singular frame of understanding. As far is I know, in the specific case there is no formal knowledge available about whether or not this woman has brain damage or if she even is a psychopath in the clinical sense. Which begs the question of why one would jump to conclusions about it. The reason I mentioned psychopathy is that it is that barring insanity it is probably about as close as we come to a somewhat biological explanation but even in that case, it does not stand alone, which as far as I am aware is the scientific consensus on the matter. It is dismissive to focus solely on perpetrators and their individual legal responsibility when attempting to understand underlying phenomena that clearly require a holistic approach. And in terms of responsibility, it actually follows from recognising the implications of nurture that parents and the wider society should not excempt themselves from critical examination, when things turn out as bad as this. Boiling it all down to simply a matter of personal choice and bad intentions, at the level of critical inquiry, only serves to make us more vulnerable on the levels of understanding that we - choose - to ignore. We know this to be true because no society has ever improved itself simply through the segregation or elimination of “bad people”. There are more where they came from and they did not invent themselves from the ground up.
@@whynottalklikeapirat You introduced the issue of psychopathy, to which I responded. You refer to murderers as being of 'warped personality'. Most murderers are found to be sane. If you are speaking about someone who kills in the first degree, in a cold planned pre-meditated manner, there is a general presumption that they are somehow defective or unstable. This is a complete misconception, by ordinary decent people who cannot conceive of themselves committing such an act. However, if you're truly seeking to understand why sane murderers kill in cold blood, their motivations are myriad, and as individual as their crimes. Obviously, there are general categories of motivation, such as jealousy, greed, hatred etc., but no two murders, and no two murderers are identical. They can only be understood on an individual basis. Until we evolve past our current barbaric state, we will continue to murder each other. It really is that basic.
I'm still looking for beauty and brains. I hate to sound crass but she has the eyes of a psychopath and who in this country doesn't know about cell phone towers and store cams?
She has a 15 year old daughter. How did she have so much time to "hangout and ride around" with teenagers and college students. And go out partying til 4AM. She was 40 freaking years old!!!
I'm sure the reason why many of the most evil murderers are so fond of talking with and trying to out-wit the interrogators is because: they're *narcissists* who love being at the center of attention. She probably thought she could easily charm these men, and that they might actually enjoy being in her company and listening to her coy little speeches. She thought herself very convincing and completely above suspicion. It's probably a game she's been playing most of her life.
Well she's good at it, she's been sleeping with someone else and her husband is standing by her side, she was steeling money from her family, and buying the boy friend gifts like she is Rich, and getting away with it up until now, she's a spoiled psychopath
When my phone was new I took a picture and it came out blue like this video - it turned out there was a piece of protective blue cellophane on the lens I hadn't removed 😂
At least I can hear what’s being said in this interrogation. So far every other trial, the interrogation video is so bad, not a single word can be understood.
I haven't watched the whole trial yet did Ashley steel Taylors money? I'm wondering where all of this money came from. Can you let me know please? Thanks.
Her cutesy baby voice in the interview videos is grinding on my nerves. She really thinks shes somethin special and has these investigators mesmerized or something. Narcissist.
@Jennifer 6strings everyone is a narcissist these days. New popular word and now you got hordes of UA-cam psychiatrists diagnosing everyone sight unseen. So, I'm curious. How did you diagnose her? Even psychiatrists don't diagnose without evaluations, please enlighten us how you were able to. Also curious how you came up with her being a covert one (another newly popular word).
Is this courtroom having a slumber party? Just bring out the Snuggie’s, so everyone can cuddle up. Just have the clerk call the maintenance man to adjust the temperature. Yes, it is a thoughtful gesture by the Judge, but the constant asking about the temperature, getting blankets and about the snacks, brings a slight disregard that this is a serious murder trial.
I like this judge, seems like a nice person. However, this is a murder trial, if I was a relative of the victim (or anyone sat in the court for any reason) I'd find the jokes & laughter completely inappropriate.
Probably she is stoned to get through it. I agree with you though, it comes off as insensitive and haughty attitude, I know of many many doctors and nurses like that. Maybe they are not trained well in terms of professional presentation and relationships. As a social worker, I would have been reprimanded for that kind of behaviour. BUT she might be trying to reduce either her own tension or that of the courtroom in general. Peoples' temperatures lower under stress sometimes too.
The Judge was adamant the case be over by 6:00 Friday. If it were me, I'd consider it hampering my defense. The Jury snuggled in blankets...kidding me! Where's the popcorn for this movie?
Vee Elle That smart that she doesn’t realise she’s racking up more years in prison with every sentence she speaks. Overconfidence is a killer in itself.
Margaret Wallach; Oh you're so right. It's all so common. How come we don't hear of these types of cases happening in Idaho or Wyoming is often as in other states..TX, FL and GA for example. Just saying I'm seeing pattern.
It defies logic that these police departments still use such inadequate video and audio equipment in these interrogation rooms. Especially with cases such as this when they are dealing with something as serious as murder. Without headphones I would be lost.
CMS Sultana agreed, but when these interrogations have to be viewed by a jury, sound and video quality go a long way. Wouldn’t it be great to be able to see facial expressions etc.?
Cameras are recording equipment is pretty cheap but storing them in good quality gets expensive. Besides, this is a recording of the screen in the courtroom, not the original.
Not so much this one, but in too many trials there always seems to be an attorney fumbling around with audio and video while the judge and jury twiddle their thumbs.
I bet her hands instantly started sweating as soon as the Miranda Rights hit the table. If she were truly innocent, at that very moment, she would have asked why she is being read her rights. Especially because she has a background in law enforcement.
I AGREE, IF IT WERE ME, AND INNOCENT, ID BE NOT EVEN FIT FOR TRIAL. ID BE CRYING , I DIDNT DO THIS !!!!!! I CERTAINLY WOULDNT BE TAKING NOTES,, ID BE MEDICATED...
When she said you really dont know anybody really.. boy she said a mouth full right there and then she went a little further to say and you let this person around your children .. she would have been better off to keep her mouth shut and get an attorney. She clearly thought she was smarter than the entire police force. Narcissism to the tenth degree
Well I've already seen the verdict so im back here to see more, and I got the impression she enjoys acting like someones life isn't on the line, guilty or innocent, she just like acts tooo much like she loves her job of sentencing ppl to prison and I don't like her. even tho this person is prob guiltly, as a judge you shouldn't enjoy doing that. she just might have some bad karma. just sayin
I dont think you understand how much it can suck to be a jurier, she's simply keeping them in a good mood to keep a fair trial, if the juriers are unhappy/bored/tired itll cause to not fairly judge a case so they can get out faster.
This is a little late, but the handcuffs are attached to the table for individuals that are brought in & need to be physically detained while in the interrogation room. It’s actually only 1 handcuff & the other end is a piece of metal attached to the table. A lot of police stations have these on their tables in interrogation rooms. I was wondering a/b them too, thinking it was kind of scare tactic, but then realized it is the attached handcuff.
I wish these days of court would be labeled Day X part 1, Day X, part 2 etc. They caption it Day X Name of Witness, part 1, Day X Name of Witness part 2 etc. When scrolling YT we don't know the order witnesses were called!
On Criminal Minds they call this a "profile". Inserting herself into the investigation, constantly calling this cop, adding different information, and just plain talking, talking, talking and then more talking. She has criminal investigation background, this just makes her look like she thinks she so smart, moving the story in the direction she wants it to go. She also knows what investigators do.....so....what the hell? Does she really think she can convince the jury that a perfect stranger knows where her family farm is and decided to "set her up" by burying the body there. Please.
yea she definately was trying to distract the investigators...including they way she was sitting crossing her legs and also squeezing her chest together. And just how she was responding to the questions, and experienced investigator can see right through this.
she had an elaborate story for every facet of the victims life! And the woman in the courtroom looks very different than the flirty one that showed up to the interrogation!
Hey Ashley, most people whose friend disappears will post something, or anything on FB because they are really looking for them. That doesn't even cross Ashley's mind.
I agree. This judge is ridiculous, she treats the jurors like children. I understand she wants to meet deadlines but this is a murder trial, if she don't have time another judge should replace her.
All of you are complaining about the Judge's niceness, but fail to realize that THAT jury has to be able to find the defendant guilty or not guilty. I don't know about you but when I'm too hot or too cold, I don't do so well with concentration (too cold=sleepy & too hot=agitated). Making the jury comfortable will end in a better judgement. Now shut up.
Yes! And she is an inspiration to me because she combines the art of levity and humanness with getting the job done.. The world used to be much more "multi-layered" in that way, and not so literal, flat and mechanized, as it is in the current phase of cultural evolution.
Do you also need opposum stories to reach a verdict? This isn't about hot or cold, it's the way she behaves, totally inappropriate. Her jokes, her flirting with the jury, the way she talks to them.
This girl has a background in criminal justice, has worked as a crime scene investigator. She's not said anything nice about her "friend" that's missing and still needs to talk w/o an attorney, she must think she is smarter than the detectives SMH 🤯🤦🏼♀️
Of course she does. She is the classic definition of a psychopath. She IS not only the smartest person in the room, she is the smartest in her OWN whole world!
Narcissistic/sociopathic traits, maybe personality. Evil, no emotion, no guilt, no care plus she has made all the mistakes which she should know due to her training/work not to do. Hence I believe she at the very least has the traits of a Narcissistic/sociopathic traits.
@@nikkib5753 They actually do not use that term anymore, "Psychopath' which I just found out. They place it under Personality Disorder or sociopathic personality disorder. Either way, I totally agree.
She has basically been given a death sentence, i would go mad if I had to stay in there forever, I would just drink a load of houch and take a load of tablets and go to sleep forever. Really i would just like Lynn turner did. Another greedy sicko.
This one is probably the best of all her interrogations, she stalls and deflects ALL OVER the place. All of a sudden she doesn’t know the word for a gun holster and calls it a “you know a holder thing”. This is just her deflecting and stalling to scramble for an extra 10 seconds to process in her brain how to get out of this and what the new lie is gonna be. She is intelligent, however when your intelligent and a mass manipulator your ego is gonna always get in the way.
“Some people’ll kill you for five dollars.” 😂 “ You think you know somebody…then you come to find out you have no clue who they are.” The gall of this woman. Unreal.
The constant blabla off this judge about blankets is just unbelievable. I really find the joking and laughing about it highly inappropriate for a murder case.
1:00:25 Oh, the fire at your office... This must be the "ARSON" charge that she'd been previously charged with, right before this case. And something having to do with "insurance". There seems to be a common denominator with her... Finances, and trying to find a way out. Arson, Insurance fraud, murdering your friend to try to keep the money she'd given you to hold during her divorce, etc. It's so crazy how calm and collected she is. Sociopath at work...
@@dabneyoffermein595 She had the absolute conviction that she could outsmart them. These murderers always seem to think they are cleverer than the police.
Exactly... if I lend someone money for the vending machine at work I remember.. They're giving this woman way too much credit for being intelligent.. she's not.. She might think she's smart but she's wrong.. She's also really irritating... The type of person I couldn't stand to listen to for more than 15 seconds..
****I love when the detectives, while listening to her, making all these untrue stories, just out of the blue, they ask her: "So where is she? Where's Tylor?"
Yes!!!! These Detectives rock! I love when the bigger detective asked Ashley where did her and Zach eat at in Milton, and the younger detective cocks his head to one side like..."Yea where?"
For everyone asking why these people always talk to the cops without a lawyer is because a lot of them think that they can outsmart the detectives and it feeds their narcissistic personality. Also if you were completely innocent would you really ask for a lawyer if you think you’re there just to answer a few questions to help law enforcement? Exactly.
The only persons I would suggest SHOULD get a lawyer in those circumstances would be an innocent person, because those are the people that have the opportunity to get screwed over. It happens. Probably more than we know. But if they're guilty I don't care if they get lied to AND arrested.
If you end up in an interrogation room for any reason, you're a suspect. A lot of people don't realize this. It sucks for people who are genuinely innocent because a lot of times they'll break down and give a false confession. If you're innocent, and you know you're innocent, you need an attorney more than someone who is guilty. You should never assume they're interviewing you IN an interrogation room for ANY other reason than they think you're a suspect in whatever happened. They usually already know more than they're asking about, so they're not trying to get any information other than incriminating information.
I can tell this woman has been lying her entire life. She's not nervous, very calm and sounds believable. IF it was me, I would have slipped up after a few questions. I was punished in a very unique way as a child when I lied and it worked like a charm. My parents threatened me with public humiliation 😂
He looks like a baby-Pete Buttegieg. I was surprised when he indicated that he had only been in law enforcement for 2 (or 2.5) years when he was already a detective, and the lead on the Taylor Wright case.
I'm appalled at how she can so quickly and with great disdain and relish throw someone who was supposedly a good friend under the bus. I understand being truthful. But I do not understand being truthful with such sinister delight and with all her lighthearted laughter. No sadness. No hurt. Just derision. With friends like her, one doesn't need an enemy because she's an enemy in sheep's clothing. She was never a good friend.
Hit the 3 dots in the upper right corner, select "closed captions", select English..... They will begin to appear for you. This is for any video on UA-cam.
I keep thinking of how cute those new bracelets are gonna be 🔥 on her!! She's gonna get to flex those and, what, maybe the color orange or green? SO CUTE!!
So I have my captions on and everytime they open that squeaky door captions says ( Music) lol. And I hate Ashley too. How sad for Taylor to trust this b**** with het life's savings and this animal to just take her " friends" last breath from her. To sit there and try to flirt with the detectives. 😡
Love this at 1:12:25 Investigator: did she ever make withdrawals from that account? Ashley: no, because most of it was paying me back for money that I had already given her. Investigator: sure.
No she's a sociopath! She doesn't think she's guilty. All about them, attention seeker, no emotion no empathy and certainly no care in the world. Only about her! Very talkative and continues to lie
During the interrogation the detective that left the room..says to the other detective (hey have you heard about the 250.000 settlement that the Taylor received for an accident) he replied no this is the first I've heard of it.Then ten minutes later he starts telling her, all I've heard it was 100,300 then now 250 grand lol..it's fun watching these detectives lie, cheat and swindle people into finding out the truth. But hey you gotta do what you gotta do🤷♂️
She had this all thought out. True narcissist....Trying to send them looking at others and being flirty like she would offer sex if it helps her situation.
She has been so precise about *_allllll_* the minutiae of Taylor's behaviours, attitudes, and their interactions. But when it comes to tens of thousands of dollars, suddenly all is vague. No way a Type A(ish) person like her would allow and fail to record such sloppy financial dealings.
@C l ~ Hah-hah....what? "Minutiae" is the plural of "minutia". It's a good idea to do a quick Google search before correcting a person. It's saved me from being confidently incorrect plenty of times, 😄.
Who are these people who work very little and have checks for 10s of thousands laying round for months on end? Not to mention their bank balances. Just saying.
They're the ownership class. They have a piece of paper saying they're entitled to the work of others so they don't have to actually work unless they want to. That's how capitalism works.
And to finish the quote "which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows." It's a little on the nose for this case.

In the mean time we should start our own court commentary channel. I think we both would qualify as experts 😆
When watching this interview, watch with the knowledge that at this time in the investigation, they already have MOST of the answers, the truth. They've already spoke to her friends. They know about her affair. They've already reviewed bank records. Ashley didn't know that. Also, DURING this interview, is when Sheriff's executed a search warrant on the farm and found Taylor's grave. Ashley just sitting there cool as a cucumber, no worries in sight! Knowing that information REALLY makes Ashley's answers to these questions even so much MORE evil. Funny how we can HATE someone we've never met. I HATE her! (sorry God, please forgive)
Since you believe in God, if you find yourself having negative feelings toward her, you should say a prayer for her too. This way, God sees your good intentions. There is no doubt that she is absolutely evil but she isn't dead yet, so -- we gotta pray.
@@misterreyth8805 it took me a minute to understand your message. I didn't even realize I wrote that at the end. Lawyers instruct their clients to do that to avoid reacting to the testimony. Basically anything they do can be seen as incriminating so it's better to give them nothing to work with.
It is my understanding that anybody being interviewed like that is a suspect ( as opposed to just being a witness ), so it amazes me that this woman is sitting there acting like she’s having a casual chat with her law enforcement buddies.

Actually, that’s not true for everyone....I _do_ stretch my legs and back that way, and in even more extreme ways, with a really bad back. When you’re very flexible, it hurts at first to contract your muscles that way, but when you relax the tension, it feels really good. The more uncomfortable the chair I’m sitting in is, the more I get the urge to do extreme stretches, so I stand up more than sit down.

But public expressions of fiscal irresponsibility somehow translates to being anti-police? Police have good PR, that's for sure.
The thing is, McArthur kept calling the detectives to find out how the investigation was going, and then she would misdirect their search efforts by giving suggestions about drug rehab, etc. She even called them as soon as she was told Taylor was declared missing.

This is a little late, but the handcuffs are attached to the table for individuals that are brought in & need to be physically detained while in the interrogation room. It’s actually only 1 handcuff & the other end is a piece of metal attached to the table. A lot of police stations have these on their tables in interrogation rooms. All of you are complaining about the Judge's niceness, but fail to realize that THAT jury has to be able to find the defendant guilty or not guilty. It's a great tactic he used putting those handcuffs on the table to intimate her.

@@bordeauxhouse I wish I lived in the south where people have manners, everyone thinks in Canada we are polite but we really just tolerate each other🤣🤣🤣
I love this Judge, I've seen her in other cases. So caring and compassionate.
@@sharroon7574lol speak for yourself! Depending on what provinces you live in. I love Canada, my country. So friendly.
@lmn1966 oh yeah, you're soooo sweet 😋
Jodi Arias kept calling for updates too!
This lady is not even close to being in jodi ann arias' league !
@@TheIllegalalienfool u missed my point
Marie Smith - exactly! And not only because of that: she does not shut up as well!! Omg it's torture 🙄🙄
Yes she reminds me of Jodi in the interrogation room pretending she doesn’t know anything. These psycho’s don’t realize that, that, in the detective’s eye is exactly what gets them in trouble but they are too arrogant and think they can beat the system.
@@godallowsuturns679 And that other lyin ass bitch Casey Anthony
Haha, is she really comparing people selling fs cards for money while she avoids how she has killed this lady.... what bold chick!
Yes and also stealing from her family's business, which she is now serving a 7yr sentence for and shes talking about ppl selling food stamps 🤯🤦🏼♀️
@ Donna No way! I didn’t know that 🤦🏼♀️. This is the best entertainment I’ve had in a while 😂. Worth having to deal with this weird judge!
@@erinm3980 yes... if you Google her name it should come up in one of those articles. It said her family's name was ruined by her.
I was wondering if all of the "Stix" employees became medical assistant's lol
Have you watched the McNabb trail in Georgia? It was a few months ago but if not you should. Now that one beats anything I've ever seen. The witnesses, and defendants, were unbelievable. 🤦🏼♀️🤯
@ Donna Lol I noticed the exact same thing about the medical assistant field 🤔 I pretty much watch ALL of the bigger trials on here. The Eric Boyd trial literally broke my heart. I’m still waiting for news on what’s going on with the remaining charges on Kellen Winslow II. That one was pretty good aside from the pain of the victims. Winslow has a lot of money so the defense team was riveting. I couldn’t find anything on this judge. If you can post a link or give me something more precise to google besides just her name.
BUT, then it hit me, that right there shows me God ALWAYS knows my intentions are good. I pray for everyone in our world. With that being said, Ashley is the one who needs to pray for Ashley. As you said, she isn't dead yet. It's up to her to get right with God. Unfortunately her qualities & characteristics will make it virtually impossible. Although, when prison is all you have, everyone tends to become religious. I guess where there is still life, there is still hope.
@@nikkib5753 Yes very much so. Obviously we both understand that God knows all things and so we speak in the form of purely human expression, when we say "God sees our intentions"; really its more like "God can prove our intentions through our external actions" and of course its also a check on ourselves so that we don't accidentally get carried away. :)
@@misterreyth8805 exactly! Thank you for the thoughtful insight. I hope others come across this at a time when it may apply to something they are experiencing.
@@misterreyth8805 I WATCHED THE ENTIRE TRIAL; SHE HAD A VERY SWEET, LOVING, TRUSTING HUSBAND; HE ALLOWED HER TO CONTROL THE MONEY IN THE FAMILY (WHICH SHE BOUGHT HER BOYFRIEND BOATS, A MOTORCYCLE, PHONE, PAID TO KEEP HIS BAR RUNNING TOO! THANK GOD SHE DIDN'T KILL HER HUSBAND!
YES, WE MUST PRAY FOR THESE PEOPLE, THEY NEED JESUS!
Oooh starts getting good about 1:07:36 talking about money. Who deposited what and why... This is where I can tell she isn't being truthful...
Thank you sooo much for this. Saved me from watching an hour of stuff I can't really hear ❤️
Her husband hasn't worked in five or six years, and she's okay with that?? Yeah right that dude is doing something illegal....
He was fired for assault on a suspect.
Yup both of them
So if you don't work for 5 yrs that means you're doing something illegal?? WTH?!
Agreed, no wife would be ok with her husband being jobless for that long! And she has no problem doing multiple shady business and other things, stealing from her parents company etc
@@stevewilliams2998😮
Even cops don't talk to cops when they get questioned. So dumb lol but I'm glad she got caught ..
I can't stand the way she is using her hands and air quotes constantly. Shows how irrevrant and guilty she is. Doesn't even feign concern for her missing /murdered "friend". You aren't as cute or smart as you think you are, Ashley!
Love this judge. I like going by the book. No hypocracy. Shows how important jury duty is for our country.
WTF is she doing writing and shuffling papers around? Trying to look intelligent or something?
Lawyers instruct their clients to do that to avoid reacting to the testimony. Basically anything they do can be seen as incriminating so it's better to give them nothing to work with.
It is my understanding that anybody being interviewed like that is a suspect ( as opposed to just being a witness ), so it amazes me that this woman is sitting there acting like she’s having a casual chat with her law enforcement buddies.
I know!!!! I was flabbergasted at that!
She has a lot of nerve, judging Taylor for being on someone else's phone plan; yet she has Brandon Beatty her boy toy on hers ...like what is the difference. Sje seems to act like she is so much better than everyone else and can do no wrong. She took a mother away from her child may she rot in prison.
Well you see the person who pays for the phone is important but the person who receives the phone is lesser. Status driven people are petty.
Well well well 🤔🕵🏻
You guys noticed how drastically her demeanor changed from the first interview to the second?
If this was concerning my friend/gf I’d be crying and begging them to do any and everything they can to catch the killer!! What a flipping gold digging POS murderer!!
She’d probably sell her own kid for $100k.
I just put this on and know nothing, but I don’t like this girl. She conniving and not very bright and acts their equal. Guess I’ll read the prosecutor’s opening.
So why is the detective ACTING hesitant and confused about phone calls? It’s acting unless he’s goofy.
WOW! Great opening by prosecutor! Now I know about Ashley!!!
Ashley is a real piece of work!
I learned in my forensic psychology class that someone who is lying desperately tries to get the interrogator to believe them. What I mean is by adding on and on and on top of there are stories with seemingly useless information that you wouldn't normally give. Does anyone have any more insight into this?
My insight is: I believe you, I have no background in Criminal Behaviors, But all these interrogations I watch, They all do it..just like Stephanie Lazarus..same thing she went on and on......and on
It's not just that.. they are articulate casual laugh they have it down to an art. Even when I tell the truth I look sound and act like a liar.
'The Behavior Panel' guys talk about that: about people who fill the air with useless information. I think it's kind of a useless attempt to get "off-topic".

Randall Romero
Oops. 🙄
How embracing.
LoL.

AJ P hahah yeah I SEA what you did THEIR
Except
Well they weren't treating her as a suspect...if you ask for an attorney it implies guilt.
Miranda Rights read at 50:50. Also at 50:50, Ashley knows she's screwed.
And she still does NOT ask for an attorney! Smh!
If you have back pain you don’t wrap your legs around eachother because it causes tension and pain in the spine
What is she doing writing down LIES
Taura Hardy she knew she was going down so it must be for her Appeal
For real!!! Like btich! What in the non fiction manipulation are you trying to put together on that paper 🤣🤣🤣🤣
My goodness, get some decent video and audio equipment
Snap Malloy right! Why the blue filter?!
This is great compared to some. Go watch Jennifer Rosenbaum’s police interview. It’s HORRIBLE!! You can’t make out a single word. It’s so bad they had to provide the jury with transcripts
PD's spend taxpayer dollars so cops can drive a Ford SUV, but they cheap out on cameras, AV equipment, and other technologies to put away bad guys. Because the cops go offroad often, in pursuit of criminals, right? And how much more do they spend on fuel for these SUV's? But public expressions of fiscal irresponsibility somehow translates to being anti-police? Police have good PR, that's for sure.
This is fantastic judge!
Wow, that minutes 1750 the interrogator says hopefully she's fine..... And Ashley raises her eyebrows up high and shakes her head a few times.....
When she explains the money and banking she's too far gone to even bother with a lawyer
You’d think she’d be clued into them being onto her, because they Mirandize her, but I suppose she just thinks she’s above suspicion.
The thing is, McArthur kept calling the detectives to find out how the investigation was going, and then she would misdirect their search efforts by giving suggestions about drug rehab, etc. She even called them as soon as she was told Taylor was declared missing. One of the signs of a guilty person is inserting oneself unnecessarily into the police investigation, bc it’s so obvious that the person is trying to find out what the detectives know!
This lady judge is wasting too much of their time,,,
