For those who are confused as to why the purple of Roggenrola inverted to green. It's because we're using the RGB color space. In the RYB color space, which is used in traditional art, the opposite of purple is indeed yellow. But within the RGB color space, yellow is actually the opposite of blue. For reference, take a look at the RGB color wheel shown at the beginning of the video. Also, should I do this again with more shiny Pokémon?
Fun fact about Roggenrola, the yellow divot in the rock that is it's skin is actually an ear and not an eye. In the description of the Pokemon it's actually said that that is a common mistake that many make.
I've had a similar idea for a video where I give the different Unown forms their own shinies depending on if they're consonants, vowels or punctuation marks. But I ended up scrapping the idea. But perhaps I'll revisit it at some point.
Here’s a recommendation for shiny drednaw: turn it’s base colors dark blue, it’s jaw and bottom dark grey,it’s horn and outer shell white, and it’s regular shell a lighter gray.
Following your logic of inversion, shiny mega gengar would therefore change from having a mostly white body to a black or grey, while the purple/pink fade at the bottom I assume might switch to a similar green to your inverted gengar. Of course it would be a completely different shade if it even is still green, as I likely made some sort of mistake due to me not having photoshop right next to me as I type, but I can guess the yellow medallion thing in the centre of the gengar’s head would turn a cobalt blue, which I think might look good if it wasn’t for the body contrasting too heavily. Overall, I think if the inverted mega was a green to black fade, it might actually be on par with the iconic white shiny.
I wish that the inverted shiny Gengar was the actual shiny. I mean aside from it being actually freaking noticeable that it's shiny it's actually pretty nice looking too.
Unown both blue and orange I consider it almost a reference to Gold and Silver (about the same colours). Roggenrola seems to have become some kind of rare stone, green on the outside, blue on the inside. And Gengar gives me the impression that he is, with that beige there, a ghost caught in a photograph from the last century.
Inverting can be a right pain. Watched drawfee's inverted challenge and they said it best that everytime you THINK you under stand it (so blue = orange) it will proceed to baffle you further. Especially shades and saturation ;;o;; right nightmare. These are pretty neat!
HEY ARTISTS... PAY ATTENTION. THIS IS A BASIC THING TO KNOWING HOW COLORS WORK TOGETHER. if you want to make a stream or YT video cam feed look more lively and inviting try adding slightly orange and blue lighting!!
I really like the new shiny Gengar and in my opinion it is not only much better than the original but it also goes very well with shiny Mega Gengar . I'd also like to see Gigalith and Boldore 's shiny forms with inverted colors , like roggenrola .
Interestingly when your where talking about Unknown shiny colors, blue is the most commonly favored color while orange is the least favored compared to all other ROYGBIV colors
The yellow unown somehow makes sense because they're supposed to be ancient texts and I'd like to think the yellow unown will be the ones hidden because the structures are yellow/brown in color so it would be hard to read.
Rogenrolla is kinda an odd pick though, because his shiny is specifically supposed to inverse the regular one. A shiny walking next to a fully evolved Gigalith non shiny, looks pretty cool
This is awesome! But I thought invert would mean switch the color placement. Still a good idea! maybe see if swapping color placement looks good as well. If you're unsure what I mean, I mean for charizard, the black, red and peach could get swapped around.
Why they haven’t made Gengar a white shiny baffles me. They had the ability to fix bad shinies like that. They made his mega and g-max forms white and that’s the correct one! Even if they don’t change all the bad ones like the gross looking green shinies, at least just ones that barely change. Garchomp should have been Gible/Gabites colors, black, or it’s beta colors. Any of those would be great for an awesome pseudo legendary like that.
To think that Gengar’s shiny only needs a simple inversion to be an actually good shiny. I know it doesn’t take that much to make a better shiny for Gengar, but still.
Dude, Reversed Shiny Unown is such a yellowish-orange that it looks like a slightly darker version of Arceus' Arch (AKA, the divine fence of Goat Jesus).
Me over here waiting for Pokémon to have a new gimmick where players can make Pokémon all different colors. Ultimate colored Pokémon. You know how many people would die for a pink Pikachu or a yellow and black Mewtwo? 🤩

When DIO shows up for half a second:
"Shiny gengar is one of the most hated shiny pokemon"
(Cries knowing that it used to be more distinguishable)
I’ve always loved the idea of each Unown having its own shiny color so that the whole alphabet was just a rainbow when shiny
I've had a similar idea for a video where I give the different Unown forms their own shinies depending on if they're consonants, vowels or punctuation marks. But I ended up scrapping the idea. But perhaps I'll revisit it at some point.
Great again as always Serentix
Pokémon community: “Shiny gengar looks trash.”
Me: “that may be true but you are forgetting the mega and dynamax too.”
Here’s a recommendation for shiny drednaw: turn it’s base colors dark blue, it’s jaw and bottom dark grey,it’s horn and outer shell white, and it’s regular shell a lighter gray.
Who to learn complementary colours whit pokemon:
You are one of the very few that I have heard who actually pronounces unown's name right. Great job
Inverted shiny rogginrola looks like it’s covered in moss and that is something I always love in rock-like Pokémon.
Roggenrola: TOP OF THE MORNING TO YAH
Shiny gengar looks like the people who acts like ghost in old ghost hunting shows
At least Gengar looks like a shiny. ;w;
Inverted shiny unown looks awesome!
Me, who thought that shines were the inverted colors

I think that Unown's shiny works so well because since Unown are just letters, and blue is a common pen color, it works out
Roggenrola has an ear on its face ❌
Roggenrola has one hexagon eye ✅
Are you joking? 💀
I love the Idea of making shiny gengar change so little in colour and then make it look completle different in Megaevelotion.
I wish that the inverted shiny Gengar was the actual shiny. I mean aside from it being actually freaking noticeable that it's shiny it's actually pretty nice looking too.

If only shiny gengar could've been white like the shiny of his mega form. Just makes so much sense as a ghost and looks epic!
Shiny mega gengar doe that’s fire
I mean Unknown is always one solid color for its body so I think any color would look good on it
I actually really like all the subtle shinies like gengar, glaceon, togekiss, garchomp, etc.
“Unown! Spaghetti-o’s”
Nah fam, my tritanomalous self started slowly dying at Rogenrolla
shiny unown: *im the portals of the portal gun*

These are pretty neat!
Unown ≠ un-own Unown = Unknown

I think the inverted roggenrola is super cool, it looks like a shiny emerald!
Personally I love doing inverse colors together, I just think they always look good together
Fun fact: Roggenrola’e “eye” is actually *its ear.*
@Tinylizard it’s a literally speaker rock. I have no clue.
Interestingly when your where talking about Unknown shiny colors, blue is the most commonly favored color while orange is the least favored compared to all other ROYGBIV colors
nice!! i think should make part out of this and covering all pokemon if possible.
Color theory making some of the best shiny Pokémon out there! *COUGH Gengar! *COUGH

Mega shiney gengar design and shiney design are sick😀
The Jacksepticeyeification of Roggenrola

The unown regular shiny and the inverse shiny reminds me of portal
Shiny Mega Gengar was actually pretty good imo
Roggenrola is one of my favorite
You made Roggenrola look radioactive lol ☠️☢️
Roggenrola with the white looks amazing!!! Idk what you’re talking about the black being better lmao.
Rogenrolla is kinda an odd pick though, because his shiny is specifically supposed to inverse the regular one. A shiny walking next to a fully evolved Gigalith non shiny, looks pretty cool
Some of these look amazing !
Mega shiny Gengar looks SICK though
Gengar's reminds me of some sort of metal, like tarnished gold. Coupled with the blue eyes, I kinda like it
That's a new nice format, would be cool if you'd do multiple parts of it.
That should honestly be Gengar’s actual shiny xD
Inverse of purple is yellow. Opposite of a secondary colour is always a primary colour
Depends on the shade. In this case, the purple of Roggenrola inverts to green. Sorry for not explaining that well enough in the video itself.
Honestly they should've given shiny gengar the colors of its mega, the white would be awesome
Gold Gengar would definitely be an improvement over normal shiny gengar
Fun fact:the shiny unown is a reference to the blue ink of the pen because they are letters
The inverted shiny unknown makes them look like alphabetti spaghetti
Those look so much better than the officals gengar especially
Someone already said but Roghenrola looks like Jacksepticeye lol
That roggenrola does look nice, oh and also it's been stated that that's actually an ear, not an eye
An EAR? That's....interesting
@@Serentix eeyup, you can find it alot in dex entries

Inverse shiny Gengar is when people are happy to have a baby poop green shiny lol
Orange Unown reminds me of those Cheez-its with letters on them
The inverted shiny makes me think that the unknown looks ancient bronze
Still really want the fuecoco with light red as its main body and light blue as its face
Gengar just whent from devil to angel
The orange on the O unknown makes it look like a Floatie you’d ride at a water park
UN OWN it’s un known even though it’s spelled unown
YEAH THAT BUGGED ME SO MUCH
It's un owned by almost everyone because they hates it
But In the 3ds pokedex it has the official pronunciation and it says un own
The roggenrola looked like a freaking grenade

I thought the main and secondary would switch like shiny Umbreon is main black and secondary blue and you would make it main blue secondary black
I feel like inverted shiny hawlucha would be interesting
White, huh? Yeah, would be cool.
For roginrolla the new shiny looks like jacksepieye
To think that Gengar’s shiny only needs a simple inversion to be an actually good shiny.
I know it doesn’t take that much to make a better shiny for Gengar, but still.
The video:"turns on high contrast."
Jokes aside nice video
Time to use inverted colours while watching this
Yo gengar looking like he got jaundice
The only time regular Shiny Gengar is cool is when he mega evolves then again if it were inverted it would probably just be black and blue
Shows you how long it's been since I seen certain shiny pokemon, I though Unown was like a purple pink color
I’m foaming at the mouth rogenrolla doesn’t have a mouth that’s an EAR…ITS WHOLE POKÉDEX IS ABOUT ITS EAR
Gengars invert feels more like a shiny than it’s shiny, and that’s saying something.
Please do more of those
Roggenrola just turned into a pear
That last one is better then the original unfortunately
Edit: You should make a video like this but specifically for the bad shinies
Dude, Reversed Shiny Unown is such a yellowish-orange that it looks like a slightly darker version of Arceus' Arch (AKA, the divine fence of Goat Jesus).
Roggenrola's "eye" is actually its ear!
As much as people hate green shinies, I love them, and would love a green Gigalith
Mega gengar shiny: yeah you really hate me
Shiny regice: yep gengar is definitely the worst definitely not me
