Excellent Mam, To my understanding, Bhagavad Gita is the infinite ocean of knowledge of the universe. E=MC2. An atom equals the universe. Atma (Individual soul) equals Param-atma(cosmic soul). Soul is divine. Soul is the eternal life force, infinite energy, which can’t be created nor it can be destroyed, neither born nor died. Any form of body/matter is nothing but manifestation of this inner soul/energy. I decode the B.G like this - 2 opposite forces or negative & positive (duality) interact in the phenomenal world and harmonious equilibrium or system is established as Cosmic Dharma. When applied in human, the Negative is portrayed as Duryadhona (greed, lust, anger, Pride/ego). Positive - portrayed as Arjuna (truth seeker). Both r the two characters of human mind. The chariot is human body. 5 horses r 5 sense organs, Human mind functions through 5 sense organs. Lord Krishna, the Charioteer, is the Soul, the divinity which is non-dual. How the Divine Soul/Krishna enlightens the embarrassed Arjun in the field of attraction (battle) is what BG unfolds. Positive mind is friendly with soul. It respects n listens to the Soul. Negative mind is the enemy. It does not respect the soul, thus leads to hell. Time, space n causation/Law of Karma r the conditions of the phenomenal universe. The pure consciousness force of the universe (soul/Lord Krishna/Non-dual energy), which is the supreme energy is beyond time, space n causation. But the phenomenal universe (being manifested) is governed by Law of karma. Newton’s 3rd Law is d direct outcome of Law of Karma. Lord Krishna (the Personified Universal Force) is the silent observer and He rules everything through Law of karma, which is His principle. The force of material desire (attractive force of matters) is so strong that Arjun even fails to control his mind in d field of attraction/desires (kurukhetra). He got embarrassed to see his beloved ones. That means- he was swayed by the negative force despite his wisdom. The Lord Krishna (Soul) throws light of truth, Pure Consciousness Force to Arjuna. Law of Karma is the basis in this illusive/Maya (Temporary) phenomenal universe, which is unreal. The ultimate reality is the individual/cosmic soul (the Lord who is the Personified Universe). To connect with this Supreme Being/Supreme Energy through various Yogic process alone gives everlasting bliss, happiness, peace in life and in the process, perfection is attained and His being everywhere and in everything is revealed. . Among the different paths to spiritual enlightenment, Bhakti Yoga (love, devotion n surrender) is the most effective path to spiritual seekers. Freedom N liberty is everybody’s right. We are free to choose any path. However, seeking the truth inward is d only way for experiencing the Absolute.
the main understanding of bhagwat gita is to surrender unto the original supreme personality of Godhead Sri Krishna we are soul not body we are part and parcel of the original supreme soul Sri Krishna

YES, max free choices, but 100% RESPONSIBILITY for outcome of choices. Choose to support evil, by refusing to fight it. YOU AS A WARRIOR, BUSINESSMAN/ BUSINESS WOMAN are reponsible for negative outcome, so will suffer for the evil, other evil do-'ers do. LIKE BHISMA, DRONA, KARNA support evil, DHARMA becomes also your ENEMY. Cheap words like I said no, don't matter. ALL FIGHT AT THEIR OWN SIDE. This is the battle of life.
My understanding of Krishn's last words: Arjun should fight the war because it is the right thing to do, after what has transpired. That one should stand up for what is good, and right for their society, in their case Pandavs' are the pious ones, ones who have the qualities to lead the society so that all are happy, whereas Kauruvs' have done a lot of wrong and should pay for their ill actions. If they win the war, then society will be destroyed.... On a side note: People who have not grown up with Hindi and Sanskrit as their main language, tend to pronounce "a" at the end of most words, a lot more than is required. Arjuna should really be pronounced Arjun (or Arjunh), a is almost silent.
@@mlg1279 Not true, the non Hindi/Sanskrit speakers tend to really show their accent. Even Sadhguru struggles with proper pronunciation. In Sanskrit, it is half an "a", not aaaa as non-Hindi speaking peoples pronounce. They are simply pronouncing how westerners(English) have written, i.e. with a at the end, because there is no alphabet in English that caters for that "half of a" pronunciation.
@@mlg1279 Every state in India has its heavy accent, you could say that every state tends to butcher the shudh bhasha. Correct pronunciation of Ram for example is simply Ram or Raam, not Rama. There is no alphabet in English that can cover the sound soon after 'm' in Ram for example. Closest would be Ramh. Most non-Hindi and non-Sanskrit speaking states tend to just say a full "a" at the end of these words and names. It just does not sound authentic at all. It sounds like non-English speaking peoples trying to speak English.

I am on the understanding that the war has a high chance of being won by Pandav side IF Arjun takes part, because he is the one who can inflict most damage due to his mastery over bow. Sure, Krishn would have made sure that they won anyway, but he wanted the battle to take place nevertheless. As for the fundamental message that Krishn passes to Arjun, is that one should not be concerned with the result of one's action, but be totally focussed on the actions, which in this case is to use the weapons as best he can, that's it, a result will be guaranteed, which could be either good or not.
