I've been getting lots of questions on my set up, so I am happy to share this. But note that many of your favs will lie about or will simply ignore your questions on what tech they use - lol - cold world!
It has taken my YEARS to figure out how to use all of these things, how to set it up and so on and so forth. I learned by researching on Google and UA-cam. It's been a lot of trial and error. Happy to share my studio items with you, BUT I am not a tech influencer and won't be able to walk you through details! There are LOTS of youtube videos on how to set up the camera, setting up lighting, editing videos, etc. As mentioned, I am self-taught on all of this stuff, including makeup. SO! I'm a firm believer that we can learn how to do anything as long as we put in the time and do the work.

Girl you are an inspiration to me to have the bravery to start a channel lol - your set up is like super goals. I follow you on UA-cam and Instagram and love alllll your content. I’m just curious if I decide to get the camera and the lens to achieve your amazing quality (planning on doing curly hair content by the way 🤓) do I just use whatever default settings on the camera? I’m not savvy with any cameras so idk if I need to play with settings or not. Any info would be so appreciated !
thanksss! Ok, I use Manual mode when filming, so I can set the FStop and the ISO. Girl, I be learning from YT!! But, that sounds so good, tho! Theres room for us all! I use Auto for my vlogs, but I use Manual for my other video content.

Wow I loved this, have you soft box lights before? I can decide if I should get the ones featured in the video or the photography soft boxes!
See and this is where it becomes confusing! I grabbed these lights after I saw a vid by @redefined. I love them. I've seen the soft boxes, but don't know how they'd be diff. You may need to purchase and just see how you like it. This has ALLLLL been a lot of trial and error and many years in the making.

YW!Ooh, the name of the cable - all I know is that it's an HDMI cable. Search Canon HDMI Cable and it should be the right one. I did do alot of buying and returning! ugh!

Hey I currently have the T6i it's practically new I have had it for a long time but I feel like my Canon g7x has better quality for photos. I see that you had the T6i did you find just switching the lenses up upgraded your quality? I wanna buy a 90d 🥲 but I have never tried i new lense should I just start there with the sigma or do you think that the 90D is not comparable lol?
Switching just the lens to a sigma made a HUGE difference!

Hey! Ok, so it stays in the outlet and basically the camera will never die! So I can record for hours and be good. It's connected to the wall outlet into the camera.

Hey! I had a T6i and used it with me Sigma 50mm and the quality was very noticeable! Yes - that’s def a step you can take if you’re not ready to buy a new camera body
Do you do your makeup after you put your shirt on? And if so, how do you keep the makeup off your clothes when you do ?
I get dressed and then do my makeup! I lean forward when applying eyeshadow so that fallout hits the tissue on my desk!
I was using a 32in TV as a monitor but after seeing your setup I purchased the HP monitor and mount but I can’t get the screen clarity on the monitor like my TV gave me. Do you mind sharing your settings?
Ooh ook. So idk what the clarity looked like on the TV, so hard to compare. But I did increase the sharpness and brightness on the monitor by pressing the buttons on the bottom right

Girrrrrrrrrrrrrl, this was SOOOOOOO many years ago - no clue. I must say tho - having the real one is the best because there are always updates to the app that I was NOT getting w/the free version.

why do you use the Mac and the Hp ?
The mac to edit, watch shows, work, essentially and to also see myself while filming. The PC allows for a close up view of my viewfinder.
