COED CEFN-PWLL-DU PARKRUN REVIEW Event

COED CEFN-PWLL-DU PARKRUN! The hilliest parkrun in Wales! A stunning parkrun around Llwyn Hir Forestry Walk! This parkrun utilises the trail paths both up and downhill! Join me as I provide an in-depth review of the Coed Cefn-pwll-du Parkrun experience.
The course is a challenging, hilly single loop through beautiful forest on wide, rugged trail paths.
Buggies/prams are unfortunately not allowed, however, dogs are allowed and there is are toilets near the parking near the start. As the route is all on trail paths, trail shoes are definitely recommended, however, road shoes are fine but will just be a little trickier. It is a very quiet parkrun with usually around 41 attendees, therefore, there are no issues with congestion at the start. With it being the hilliest parkrun in Wales and one of the top 10 trickiest parkruns, it is definitely not one for the PB! A nice scenery for a parkrun with the stunning views around the Llwyn Hir Forestry Walk and a great atmosphere too with some of the best volunteers I have seen since doing parkrun! I will be doing parkruns all over the UK and rest of the world! Every Saturday I take part in a 5K run trying my hardest to get under 20 mins. Coed Cefn-pwll-du Parkrun is a parkrun towards the South of Wales, in Machen, Caerphilly. It is a great run to tick off the "C" on the alphabeteer challenge.
