- When Doha Quest opened in 2021 they debuted the worlds tallest indoor roller coaster dubbed EpiQ Coaster! It stands 186 feet tall, hitting speeds of 57 mph, and flipping through 2 inversions. It's a bit of a bizarre ride though- mostly a copy and paste of a ride in India, but with a massive spike attached. Let's discuss what that does for the ride experience in this in depth review!

I rode the epiQ coaster in 2022 during the World Cup and the launch used to have an animation with audio and was a much better experience

Yeah your comment on this being about some executive wanting something with a world record and then not really caring about the rest seems to be a common theme across this part of the world. All bark no bite. Dubai itself is basically infamous for it, going for tonnes of records and looks of luxury, yet little cohesion or practicality. And Doha is like Dubais little brother. And of course Saudi Arabia is going into it too, with projects all over meant to grab headlines and look futuristic or imposing, but likely not being a complete or fully thought out experience.
Like take Falcons Flight and Six Flags Qiddiya. The coaster itself might be nice and the park alright. But will the little things be in order? Will the ride be able to operate reliably? Will park guests have adequate shelter from the heat and solid ammenities? Will it be easy to get to and from the resort? What about other supporting attractions in the area to ensure the place's viability? Or if the economy behind the big project is sound? These are all things I feel you have to take into consideration with these kinds of record catching or vast megaprojects in this part of the world. Is it any good and practical, or just trying to grab headlines and a big... size competition.

Hey! When you were waiting in that tunnel , you’re supposed to meet spike! Where he talks about the journey you will go through, as you are launching, you are supposed to see an explosion of a sun I guess and then you launch backwards, that lightning scene is supposed to be shown after the spike as you pass the tunnel again😅.. I guess there was a problem or something. You actually might find footage of the pre show that’s supposed to be shown on Tik Tok. Anyways.. Keep up the good work!❤

The Middle East, a place where you actually WANT to go to amusement parks during their peak attendance times of the year.
..because why go there to be bored when you can just stay home and be comfortably bored while watching them on youtube.
I was there a few week ago and its realy a one trick pony the break after the big spike is just totally killing the momentum. They just wanted the world rekord and that was the easyest an uncreative way to get that
Premier should change their train style to have 2 rows per car instead of 3 - maurer attempted to do this with their X-Train (Only 1 exists)
Go back and look at the footage son. There are speakers on poles on the left of the track during the beginning section. They just are not using them.
