Fun fact, there used to be a wild mouse like that at legoland Windsor but it was removed due to noise complaints. At one point the ride ran with enclosed cars to prevent noise
@@CoasterStudios It was called Jungle Coaster and I’m pretty sure it was relocated to the Florida park so the ride you have there is originally from Windsor
The family wing coaster is such a vital in between for kids. As a family raising an enthusiast, it's so important. My 7 year old is tall enough for that ride, and I wish we could get to Germany for him to try it. Dragonflyer at Dollywood was super helpful for him to get comfortable with those bigger ride type and elements. He's been much more willing to try things as he's gotten taller because I'm able to connect them back to ride like that from when he was younger. I love that more parks are adding them in!
They have one of these at HansaPark in Germany too, but it's been closed for over a year and gets demolished after the 2024 season (it's been there for like 40 years)
Now you have the BEST Legoland Park left! (Legoland Billund) I’ve been to quite a few Legoland Parks and might be the best. That or this one is the best.
I was able to do multiple rides on Maximus Last year and it is kind of weird that a family Thrill hast just crazy Hangtime. I think Vertical loops or quick Corkscrews are better „beginner“ inversions, because you are Not lifted out of the seat on those types of inversions
I went to the wall in lucerne, and I believe we walked through a nice garden to get there, and I think one of the towers connected to the wall had a clock in it with all this exposed gears and stuff.
The low clearance on the Frisbee-ship made me wonder....outside seat in the wing coaster, can you actually touch plants/the ground? (Also I wonder if the "mild" wing coaster is also cheaper in maintenance than the big ones)
@@CoasterStudios haha yeah 😂 they aren’t allowed to dispatch when anyone is up there but they usually don’t care enough to hold off operations but they still tell you to get off
After looking at a video I realised it is actually an exact clone Didn't know they cloned that one Also it might get cleared up in the video here, as of writing this I haven't finished watching.
I have a question to you all(german's and the that now some parks in germany) what do you whish for a german park to get in the future, for me is that the Phantasialand gets finally more land.
@@janneskraus3446 i know..and even if they wouldn´t: there are enough options in your region, while east germany is a big sad spot without bigger amusement or water parks.
@@marzok9632 yea but it probably has also something to do with the German history because a lot of big parks here in the west where founded when the DDR still existed
Oh yeah even just from the entrance area this one reminds me a lot more of the original Legoland in Billund than the other Legolands around. Same for the ride selections, Billund also has a bigger focus on more thrilling rides and just more unique ones in general you wont find at other parks. As for stuff like Maximus I'd probably also argue that at least from a Danish perspective (which likely is also valid for Germany) the general age of parkgoers in Europe is a lot younger than in the US. Even high thrill rides are usually seen as kid oriented stuff. And I've seen plenty of kids around 8-10 ride quite big and thrilling rides like Fønix, Schwur des Kärnan, Flug der Dämonen, Lost Gravity, Dæmonen, Speed Monster, and Piraten to name a few notable examples I've seen myself. So a ride like Maximus is likely gonna attact a lot of kids in that 7-12 age group. In general theme parks are largely seen as something thats by and large only for kids in much of Europe. The reason places like Tivoli Gardens really even attract an adult audience is for stuff like live music concerts, or theatre shows, or dining, where the people can go on stuff like the rides in the meantime. Or in the case of German fairs, just offer ridiculous amounts of Alcohol and parties. Can't wait for the Europa park vlogs, already from the previews it looks like you all had an absolute BLAST there!
germany is a 3rd world country when it comes to AC due to it being perceived as an unnecessary luxury and because of the (extremely) high energy prices
Waaaaait. Rust is not rusty. Yeah I know probably no intended pun. Do Americans speak the u in Rust short offically? I wonder because in German you pronounce the Rust U long like in dude.
How on earth did you manage to get to film on the coasters ?? The park is very strict with on ride filming and I was told I wasn’t allowed also pretty sure Theme Park Worldwide didn’t get permission when they visited last year !! Don’t know why you guys are so privileged with on ride filming at parks compared to everyone else 🤷🏼♂️ also you should have done Peppa Pig Park before LEGOLAND as that’s what I did, also what happened to showing the Robo Arms, Lego Factory, boat ride and more !?
We work hard to secure permission to film on ride. It’s up to the parks discretion whether to grant permission or not. Just because we got a yes doesn’t make us privileged.
You just had one of the worst possible days ever. I visited that park every 6 weeks for about 8 years and i've only ever experienced two closures in my entire time of visiting it
The B&M track perfectly works with the Lego look.
LegoLand Germany was built 9 years before Florida, so think the "cloning" went the other way. Don't forget Lego is a European company

Never realised that the Wild Mouse is an exact clone of Matterhorn Blitz at Europa Park... Theming does so much!!
Not exactly. Matterhorn Blitz does have an Elevator Lift instead of an chain lift hill.
Wrong !!! Completely different layout but yeah it is a Mack Wild Mouse

and hey, I'm 12 and I have ridden fury 325 without even graying out.
The Test Track (if that's still what it's called) at Legoland California aka the first coaster you rode was the VERY FIRST coaster I ever went on!!!
That wild mouse layout is very similar to Matterhorn Blitz as well
After looking at a video I realised it is actually an exact clone
Didn't know they cloned that one
Also it might get cleared up in the video here, as of writing this I haven't finished watching.
I’ve never rode the inside seat of a wing coaster either 🤪
I love how the trains on Maximus look like Lego bricks. also that ride is good for adults who are afraid of coasters
For all you band/music folk in the comments, the tune the bird is playing is Bugler’s Holiday by Leroy Anderson. You’re welcome!
The layout of Maximus looks pretty much like some prototype i would say
I noticed the dragon coaster there isn't actually called dragon over there. if you translate that sign, it says fire dragon
the wildmouse coaster is literally the same layout as Technicx in LL: CA and i'm... fairly certain Coast Rider in Knott's Berry Farm.
It's also the same as Matterhorn Blitz (Save for the lift)
Never realised they cloned it so many times lol
Me and Tanner have a lot of similarities 😁
My daughter is 6 and she rode Baron at Efteling - B&M Divemachine. Maximus would bored her😂
