Peach Cobbler Milk Shake ~ Designer Milk Shake Recipe ~ Torani Friday ~ Noreen's Kitchen

- Опубліковано 14 лип 2016
- I have not done a Torani Friday in a few weeks, opting to share other fun summer recipes with you. Sometimes it is good to take a break! We get back into our regular Friday programming with a delicious peach cobbler milk shake that is inspired by a local joint called The Cook Out! They have great burgers and 40 different flavors of milk shakes! This one is one of my favorites!
This peach cobbler milk shake is simple to make and super delicious! I have used home canned peaches but you can use regular canned peaches, fresh peaches or even frozen. If you you fresh or frozen, you are going to want to chop them up pretty fine. I also used some vanilla wafers and Torani Cinnamon and Peach syrups. A splash of milk to round it all out and then topped it with whipped cream and a garnish of fresh peach slices and crumbled vanilla wafers.
I even dug my old fashioned diner style milk shake machine out of cold storage to make this. Honestly this machine is a work horse and they are not that expensive and I love it for making shakes like this because you can use all the mix ins you like to get a truly designer milk shake!
I hope this inspires you to create your own summer milk shake concoction using your Torani syrups! Anything goes! Heck, I even once made a maple bacon milk shake that was kind of amazing! Seriously!
Give this peach cobbler milk shake a try and I hope you love it!
Happy Sipping!

OMG! Canned 50lbs of peaches... that sounds like Determination! We love your Peach Cobbler Milkshake!
It was delicious! Yes I processed 50 pounds of peaches. 34 pints of slices in syrup and 15 half pints of peach jam along with 2 quarts of sugared slices for the fridge and peach shortcake! We are feeling peachy!

Hi Noreen, i love your videos! It always feels like I'm in a good friends kitchen learning when I watch your videos. I'm new to gardening this year and I was wondering if you were going to post any of your garden videos this summer? I've been watching your older "hows it growing" videos and i've learned so much from you! Thanks again for all of your amazing content, you really are a pleasure to watch!
Thanks for you kind comment! My garden is taking a bit of down time this year. I have only planted limited items for us to enjoy without the intention of using it for canning or preserving. This year I am taking advantage of my locally grown produce for that. I have pretty much covered all my gardening tips and tricks for now and I don't think you will see any garden videos this year. Sorry.
we have cook out in georgia, love their milkshakes!
yummy
We have cookouts in East Tennessee. Cherry cheesecake is my fav. Xxooxx
u know how u said u keep it in ur closet and pull it out when u remember u have it? (i do the same thing! lol) but it would look super cute on ur white selfs in ur dinning room! cuz u like that retro theme....put the cup in its holder it would look AWSOME!
Ohhhhhh Honey..My toes just curled and I’m going to definitely make this milkshake and my creative juices are flowing for some great concoctions ❤️🍑🧂🍑🧂👍🏽😊
Oh My!
jesus, that looks f*cking delicious!!
This looks so so good.I have got to try this. Where do you get those big straws. Yummy.
Those are reusable plastic straws. These are from the Pioneer Woman line at Walmart, but I can't get them anymore. I have found some similar on Amazon though. I like that I can stick them in the dishwasher. We are straw lovers in our family. So this makes a lot of sense for us. These are close to what I have and I will be ordering some of these. The don't last forever, but they last at least a year before they get to "used" to go on. amzn.to/29MBIZg
Cookout is in Virginia. Where are you? Subbed 3 days ago🎈
Eastern NC
I am in Virginia and we have a Cook-off but it is a fast food with a drive through.
out. Sorry should have proof read.
Are you gonna do some more canning video's in the future, Noreen? I loved those canning video's you did a couple of years ago.
Only if I can something I have not canned and done a video of already. I don't like to duplicate.

one of the things I always wonder about (as a canning novice) is wether you can can (can can?) whole meals, such as chili con carne or stew or something like that.
I can chili and meat sauce, chicken soup (without noodles or rice) and other things. Of course you can. Those things are low acid and need to be properly pressure canned. If you are not familiar with canning, I recommend you do a lot of research first so you can understand it and the equipment necessary to do it properly as well as the safety guidelines. You cannot can everything, such as dairy, starches or fats in high amounts. There are some things that are tricky and have very specific processes, such as potatoes, sweet potatoes and pumpkin. Your local agricultural extension may give free canning classes this time of year. Look into it before trying. Because attempting to can food without the proper training/knowledge could be deadly. That is not a joke or an exaggeration.
there is one in dalton ga

Holy Moly! that looks scrumptious, but probably has 1000 calories!
It's actually 626 calories. But you can always make it smaller if you like. Nobody wants to see a tiny serving when they are watching a recipe being prepared. Thanks for the comment.

Noreen--That looks delicious. Could I challenge or implore to make a banana pudding milkshake? I bet you would do a good job.
That would be easy enough! Some banana torani, vanilla ice cream vanilla wafers. Yeah, I could do that !
HELP It is sat. night about 930 mt time and my batch of vegetable broth is not coming up to press on my gauge canner. After 20 min. or more It was at 5lbs of pressure it has never taken so long. can I put it in the frig? and re do it or what did I do wrong Hope you read this soon thanks
I have never had that problem. Don't know the right answer. Don't recommend the fridge. Not till jars are out of the depressurized canner snd at room temp or they will shatter. You may need to get a nee gasket or a new gauge. You can always use the weight as your pressure indicator. If you have one. Sorry I couldn't be more help. You may have to de pressure remove jars bring to room temp and prep broth for freezing.
I did that and they sealed and are on the counter. But they are supposed to pressure at 15lbs. My extension office will be open tomorrow. Hope I can save them or maybe freeze them in different containers, Never had problems before. Thanks for your quick answer
+michele salazar they are sealed but they are not safe. Be sure to freeze them. And check your canner.
