  • I dont know if yall ready for this for the holidays BUT ITS HERE!
Wesbite where you can get my cookbook and ebooks: kimmyskreationsco.com/
    RECIPE:
    Pudding:
    4 egg yolks
    3.5 cups whole milk
    1 cup granulated sugar
    1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract or vanilla bean gel
    3 tablespoons corn starch
    Peaches:
3 cans peaches (leave juice in ONLY one)
    1 cup brown sugar
    1/2 cup white sugar
    2 tsp vanilla bean gel
    2 tsp ground cinnamon
    1/2 tsp nutmeg
    Whipped topping:
    3 cups heavy cream
1 tsp vanilla bean gel or extract
    1 cup powdered sugar
    Cookies I used:
2 packs of Bordeaux Caramalized cookies
Mix all ingredients for pudding in a large bowl then cook on low heat until thickened, making sure to mix often. Let cool in fridge at least 3 hours.
Add all ingredients for peaches in a large sauce pan and cook for 5-10 minutes. Let cool in fridge for 3 hours.
For whipped topping, mix heavy cream and vanila extract for 5 minutes until soft peaks form. Then add powdered sugar and mix just until thick, should stick straight up when pulled from bowl.
Layer how you want, refrigerate a few hours and enjoy!

I’m a white RN. I used to work at a hospital with a wonderful black nurses aide. It was just the two of us on the night shift. She was one of the the best nurses aide I have ever worked with! She would make food for us at our dinner time, and bring it whenever I worked with her. I was a new Graduate RN and young in my 20’s, and she took me under her wing. I loved my mothers cooking, but let me tell you, she made the best southern soul food ever!!!!!! She is gone now, but God bless her, I loved her and her cooking and she helped make me into the best nurse I could be!!! I’m 70 now, still working but part time tho. She was a wonderful woman and excellent cook (sorry Mom). I bless her for helping me to be who I am today!!! RIP I love you Betty💕🙋🏼‍♀️

This is the sort of recipe that my husband starts asking for right around 8 at night. He wanted banana pudding last week so I told him fine, he'd have to help me. We got done cleaning the kitchen at 1:15 am. Now he asks me to make stuff like this during the day so he can have it in night instead of in the middle of the night.

@@deannacrownover3Wow! You've got me beat. Our tiny rural town's population count at the last census is 432 or 34 (can't remember exactly). It was 489 when we first moved here, covid took a toll on our numbers. We have a Post Office that closes at 1:30 and opens at 10 in the morning. No grocery store or gas station. Nearest tiny grocery store or gas station is about 30 minutes away. So needless to say we stock up when we go to the big city which is an hour away. We do have an ISD though grades K through 12. I believe last year's entire school population was probably about a 100, if that. Graduating class was no more than 4. We love it though wouldn't trade it for anything.

Wel have a county high school in the county seat and an elementary school, but it's almost unattended.
The First Baptist Church has K-8. But around eighty percent of our kids are homeschooled.
That way they can get their school work done and disappear into the woods as quickly as possible lol!
One landowner built an enormous tree house in two live oaks in a visible corner of his pasture so all the kids had a safe place to go where we strict parents aren't allowed to go to, lol.
(They don't know we can hear them from our porch, even though they're about two acres away, so they're always being watched by whatever adult is within earshot.)
It's so wonderful watching the neighbors kids grow up like we and our kids did... Free!

You got pudding clumps for a couple reasons: 1- the mixture wasn't one even consistency when you added it to the pan. 2-Don't add cornstarchs directly to the entire batch; it's best to take a few table spoons of the main batch, put it into a bowl, then add cornstarch and mix till smooth, and then finally add that mixtur to the main mixture.
This isn't how you'd do it with breads or cakes, but for liquids that thicken up like pudding or gravy, you definitely wanna follow that tip.
STILL looks absolutelt delicious and will definitely be making this!

Almost midnight, I stayed up to taste this... so worth it, it is absolutely delicious! I am putting these in shooters for a party so I had to do a test run. I believe I'm going to try to do diced peaches so that they're easy to get on the spoon. On the pudding and the topping I need to cut back a little on the sugar, but otherwise everything is on point. It is correct that the cookies take it way over the top , I already started buying extra bags in my groceries because they do run out in the store I will definitely will add some extra crumbles to the top of the shooters along with the another splash of cinnamon.

Your commentary was so precise and so down to earth, I feel a lot more confident in trying to make this. My little sister loves peach cobbler and she just got certified as a nurse, so my plan is to make this for her birthday.
I also appreciate that you made the pudding from scratch - as a nerdy goth guy who has way too many historical cookbooks, making homemade pudding is a treat, and I deeply respect how much effort you put into ensuring things are done WELL. I cook a lot for my widowed mom since she has to use a walker now, and can't cook as much as she used to, already this recipe alone is giving me a renewed faith in my own ability to cook and give something back to my family.

Bitsy is the brand. It came in like two or three days. My family is in awe right now. My mother is an incredible cook who still gives props, but when she taste tested, her eyes grew wide. She’s positive, but not easy to impress. I haven’t even made the whipped cream yet. An absolute hit! I ordered cream cheese elixer, so this’ll be my first time trying.

I couldn’t find those cookies. I purchased the Pepperidge farm butter cookies, sugar cookies, vanilla wafers. I melted butter and caramel put the cookies in. Put them in the oven for a bit and sat them out. Came out perfect 🤩

Definitely trying this bc I hate bananas. I make my homemade banana pudding with one or two bananas sliced very thin.
I love peach cobbler so can't go wrong trying this.
    Thanks Kimmy Boo 😍😘

Yes! Yum! I make everything sugar-free for my diabetic mother and everybody else that doesn’t want to become diabetic so
Peaches in sugar free or light syrup
Splenda has a fabulous brown sugar that tastes amazing as does Truvia
And then I make my pudding sugar-free whip cream cheese in it so that it tastes better but it’s still sugar-free and ends up being keto just because of that
And those cookies look good! I might put a tiny sprinkling on top just for the crunch.

Some new studies just came out in 2023 on Truvia showing that it increases the risk of stroke/heart attacks in diabetics. My dad who is diabetic threw all his out :( Might want to read up on that and let your mom know.
