You know, until I started watching your channel I had no idea the skill level it took to be a farmer.......I really thought it was as simple as dig a hole and plant a seed.....after watching your videos and others I now think of farmers in the same category as engineers and scientist.....you have to be a little of both today in the farming world...thanks for the education Zach.

Slightly more accurate than my “yank everything out of the ground soon as the front tires get to the Thirr ....,fourth row...., and one Mississippi’s after I cross the last end row heading back”......, method......, not by a whole lot......., once I get in my grove I’m an accurate booger LOL.

Zack I been a follower for a couple of years now. I'm fascinated with all of the technology used in farming nowadays. You always say if you have a comment or if you have a question ask, so here goes. 1. Explain more about what we are seeing on the screens in the tractors. 2. How does the GPS steering work i.e. Setting it up for the different implements widths, field length, etc. 3. More in depth discussion on the data you use to plant a field i.e more seed in good areas less in bad. How do you gather all of that data to use. I'm an old farmer and the use of computers to maximize harvest blows me away. I imagine a lot of viewers like myself would love it. Keep your eyes up and your spirits high.

3:55 from my experience using those fittings on pneumatics on robots, if it pops out cut the hose back about 1/4". Those push fittings bite onto the tube and they can pop off from wear. If you don't cut the tube back a bit it won't be able to get bite and it'll keep popping out.

FYI, if you don't have a hydraulic line fitting crimping tool, look into re- usable fittings. They are a real time saver. All you need is a cordless disc grinder to make a clean cut of the hose and a couple adjustable wrenches. No need to spend valuable time going to the dealer for a hose repair. These can be used as a permanent repair. First saw these on a 1956 Case crawler loader in 1980. Best regards, Jim, a brand new subscriber.

Zach, I’ve been on Pins n’ Needles! On a serious note, the science of agriculture in 2020 is amazing. You might want to look ahead to your trips during down time and travel to Washington State University, School of Ag. It’s a powerhouse! I also have 2 degrees from there, so I’m a bit of a homer. Also, your dad must be dumbfounded at the progress the equipment has brought to the farm.

I can’t believe 9mph planting corn. That is just mind blowing. And heck of a good representation of farm life in today’s time.
