  • Poetry at The Dalí is an ongoing series hosted by St. Petersburg Poet Laureate, Helen Pruitt Wallace. Occurring on the second Thursday of each month, each evening will feature Wallace joined by selected poets.
    About the Poets:
    Deborah Bogen’s books include four prize-winning collections of poetry, the latest of which is In Case of Sudden Free Fall (Jacar Press 2017.) Her newest collection, Speak Now This Charm, is forthcoming from Jacar. These days she balances the poet’s life with local political responsibilities in Pittsburgh PA.
    Lynn Emanuel is the author of five books of poetry. The most recent, The Nerve Of It: Poems New and Selected, was awarded the Lenore Marshall Prize from the Academy of American Poets. Her work has been featured in Best American Poetry numerous times and has been included in The Oxford Book of American Poetry, the Norton anthology of hybrid American poetry, and published in The New York Times. Among her prizes are multiple fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts, The National Poetry Series Award, The Eric Matthieu King Award, also from The Academy of American Poets, and, most recently, a fellowship to the Civitella Ranieri Foundation. Her books have been reviewed and/or published in Poetry, The New York TimesBook Review, The Harvard Review, LA Review of Books, BOMB Magazine, and Publisher’s Weekly.
