- The ST1 Platinum is back at it's best price ever, with new upgrades to make it one of the best value bikes in the shop. This bike is known to be one of the most reliable bikes on the market, and is backed by Stromer's 2 year warranty. Check out more about the ST1 Platinum here: www.nycewheels.com/stromer-st...

Thanks for the great info-breakdown on this bike, I just bought a used one, 2017, I like it very much so far, and with this great info I am more at ease and happy that bought it.
Not sure if anyone cares but if you are stoned like me atm you can watch pretty much all the latest movies and series on InstaFlixxer. Been streaming with my brother during the lockdown :)
@Castiel Hamza Yup, been using instaflixxer for since december myself =)
@Castiel Hamza Yup, I've been using InstaFlixxer for years myself :D
On your website, the ST1 Platinum has XT derailleurs. The one you have has Sora.
We must still have the old info on there, thanks for pointing that out.
I’m in the marker for an EBike but I’m torn between the Bosch mid drive system or Stromer rear hub. Please advise.
We find the ride quality of Stromers to be a bit more enjoyable, but it's totally up to preference. Both are great quality products.
Anyone know how to change from kmh to mph on the Stromers
I own two Stromers, but one had the lock jam on the battery compartment. Neither the dealer nor I can get ahold of anyone at Stromer support, which appears not to exist. I've also come to dislike the idea of hiding the battery. Nice for looks but obviously there are problems.
That's odd, we've never had any issues getting in touch with Stromer's support. The dealer should be able to get a new lock core and key set for you, sometimes they do jam if you accidentally try to push the battery in while the key is turned in the locked position. This ST1 platinum is actually phasing out this year and they're moving their whole product line to the connected bikes, which are much more user friendly and the performance and design is fantastic.
I have a Stromer st1 - rode it for two summers, at 1200 miles the motor burnt up (or motor controller - its all located in the wheel unit). I was 1 month out of warranty... after repeated attempts to contact Stromer, finally got ahold of the warranty dept. They just sort of laughed and said - "yeah, sorry man nothing we can do for you." So I bought a $4000 bicycle that needs an $1100 part after 1200 miles... these bikes are gimmicky, unreliable and Stromer service is absolutely horrible to work with. Go with Yamaha or Bosch - Stromer won't be around long. Oh - and the shop I took it two had two st1's on the floor (poor people trying to get rid of them on consignment).
Honestly sounds like bad luck to me. I've had my st1 for about 7 years now and I've even ridden it through winters. Never had any real problems with it and still rides solid.
I am curious about how your bicycle shop is selling e-bikes when e-bikes are banned in NYC?
Because they are not banned in NYC. Pedal assist electric bikes are perfectly legal, see the Mayor's announcement here: www1.nyc.gov/office-of-the-mayor/news/165-18/mayor-de-blasio-new-framework-clarify-legality-pedal-assist-bicycles
NYC lifted the ban
what jacket were you wearing in this vid: ua-cam.com/video/0lITsxjAhMo/v-deo.html
That's a Visijax jacket, we don't sell them anymore though.
