The only strong disagreement I have is with Koromaru. I'm pretty sure Koromaru canonical beats one of the month shadows by himself without a persona just because they tried to mess with their old owner's shrine. There's no wai in hell you're beating that hell beast

I want to fight Akihiko but would get my ass kicked. It's like, fair, legit competition and would be fun even if painful. It's like, sparring match, I'd get beat but at least it would be a respected fight and such.

Minato is a school athlete tho and depending on what you pick he practices aikido(?) the sword handling sport. Hes also more calm than junpei. Fun fact Junpei is literally just half an inch taller than him. Height dosent matter at that point

The thing with Persona 3 is how the Dark Hour works compared to the T.V world and Metaverse.
In the Dark hour it's shown to be straining to fight in, and as far as I can remember the T.V world and Metaverse don't have these problems, in faced in the Metaverse enhances the people inside it.
There was even a part with Kazushi asking what the protagonist dose for training implying that the Dark Hour is something like the dbz gravity chamber.
It's never stated for the metaverse, but they talk about the TV world being exhausting in their first trip there.

I honestly think p3s cast can handle a street fight most of them know some sort of martial art or weapon skill. Especially aegis only person that could possibly stop aegis is maybe futaba from p5 but that’s about it

Pretty sure there are a few times in social links where the P3 protagonist is either about to start a fight or just gets into a fight and wins
Tanaka is the Reigen of the persona universe, high key he might be able to solo everybody in Megami Tensei
And Yuko got the N word pass, so she wins any fight except maybe against the police.
Makoto and Kotone are one below Aki IMO. Makoto can box and Kotone knocks out a policeman in Q2.

Makoto Beat up and thwarted 3 gangsters once.
Here's one note, Kaz has a bum knee though. Sure, he's athletic and all, but when it comes to endurance, he kinda has a massive debuff from his originally decently advantageous endurance stat. (also please don't mind me using terms like stat, debuff, etc.) He's athletic sure, but while he's gonna rock at first, his knee is gonna start to bother him more and more. Especially if the battle gets too heated, he's gonna push himself too far, strain his already not good at all knee, and he's gonna feel a ton of pain in the process.
That alone might end the fight, but assuming he's got enough willpower to keep on attacking, he's gonna just lose and lose endurance, getting tired very quickly, and his punches are bound to get worse. Obviously, he's no longer gonna use any form of kicks or anything or else he's bound to get unstable balancing on a bad knee even for a moment, or he's gonna commit a DIO and kick with his bad leg, basically ending the fight there due to the high pain that'll inflict on him. In my eyes? Regardless your body type, as long as you can keep getting back up, you can win the fight more than likely, if you're in at least decently healthy condition.
I will also say, Jen and Sickly Revolver Jesus are both actually terrifying to fight. Not because they have any abilities, but the fact they'll straight up attempt to kill you. They aren't fighting you, you're fighting for your life against them. Jen is weaker, no doubt in my mind, he looks small to me. But, he's likely to probably just knock you down and pummel you with rush attacks, that's how I see him based on his grenade usage. He's gotta be fast to avoid his own explosions. Cancer Patient Jesus on the other hand, He looks kinda malnourished, but he also looks pretty toned even so. Plus, he's got long arms, and I'm certain due to him being on his death bed, some very tight grips. I get the feeling he knows how to get in a position to either just straight choke you out, or snap your neck. Sure, his endurance is likely not great, due to his health not being great. He doesn't really care about himself, so yeah, if you can avoid his grapples, you probably can tire him out a bit. But he's got long legs, long arms, and a tight grip. You are not gonna evade the guy forever and deal enough damage to do anything massive to him without some kinda weapon. In my eyes? He is around the same strength as Akihiko but a decent bit lower, due to how he's able to get tired and I doubt he throws hard punches or kicks. A bit too spindly for that. Either way, I'm certain these guys will not just beat you up if they're even gonna want to fight you in the first place.
Okay Korumaru is different to me, as it depends on what Korumaru does. He's a dog, but a smart dog. If he's out for blood, not just aggressive, he can just bite you, run away, keep biting where you don't expect, and then run off. He could feint you, or even when you go to kick the dog or anything cruel like that, he can still bite the hell outta ya. If he's big enough (never got an amazing sense of scale with him) he may be able to jump high enough to bite your neck, which may not result in death, but it could pierce your throat so maybe. Not big enough to tear your throat, but you might end up having problems there. I think either way, Korumaru is likely able to be defeated against, but to me, it depends on what the dog is going for on how the fight's gonna go.
Outside of those, I mostly agree with the choices. I got other people I can say I disagree, like old Monk Yakuza guy, but I think everyone is generally in a good spot.

The thing about P3 that is so different from the later games is the SEES does not need the Midnight Hour to use their Persona, they just need their Evoker. I also have some headcanon that any Persona User could use an evoker to summon their Persona under the same restrictions as SEES but I do not know if that is confirmed. Also, P1 and P2 either take place in an equivalent to a character's dream or essentially P5R's 3rd semester but what changes are based on what people widely believe and not what one altruistic madman thinks is best.

I think Minato is very athletic, but I think his build is rather small. He's not very tall, doesn't have long arms, the guy can be probably knocked off his feet more easily than some of the more very athletic people. Even Kaz could likely shrug off blows that Minato might stumble with, even with the guy's bad knee. Do I think Minato has good endurance? Probably so. But I think power wise, he's not gonna dish the damage, or bare the brunt of it for too long.
