@@cubanking9273 yeah but you don't have to aim anywhere ..the only reason you do that is for completing a task for example instead of tapping on the facebook app and sending your friend a message.. you could just speak it to your phone ( or whatever ) and it will do it for you..
This is a much faster and more 'intuitive' process
Nate Yeah I thought the same thing. Humans used touch to operate tools before we used language to communicate. Touch is just as intuitive, if not more so, than language. That’s how three year olds with barely developed language skills can operate iPads and iPhones with ease. Voice will never replace touch. I don't like to talk to my phone. To me it seems weird. Some people are fine with it, but not everyone. Google Now or Google Now On Tap, whatever it was called, provided useful information right at the glance. Google Assistant doesn't do that anymore. Every time I want to get that information, I have to request it, and because I don't like talking to a digital AI assistant, I have to type it. It doesn't provide useful cards of my daily updates anymore. To me this takes more time to get the information I need at the moment. Google Assistant can't even correctly provide answers to my requests. When I ask it for a birthday date of one of my contacts, it misunderstands it, as many of my contacts doesn't have English names. Just a couple of days ago I asked it to give me information about my next calendar event. Instead it provided me with Google search results. It also doesn't help that my native language is not English, and often it has problems understanding what I ask. I have nothing against Google assistant, for many people it may be very useful. But it is actually much quicker to have a quick look in the morning at the old style Google Now cards about my day - weather, calendar, birthdays, latest news etc. That functionality is not there anymore. Now I have to specifically request this information instead of just swiping left and having it right there on my screen.
@@tiigjeris1 Have you tried Snapshot?

Smartphones aren't dying bro... Sales have been down because everyone has one now😂😂
They're dying cuz there aint much room for Innovation in them. Si ce the first "smart" phones, all manufacturers tried to get bigger better screens, more power and more functionalities, well if you look at todays smartphones, we got more power than we'll ever need ( 10 ram on 1+7 pro for expl), s/b ratio is almost a 100%, even surpassing it in some cases and functionalities havents seen much improvement since years now. So the phones that come out each year dont have enough new innovation in them to push customers to buy new, like we used to 6 to 2 years ago. And soon enough they're gonna run out of ideas cuz they are limited and restricted by the idea that a phone should be a rectangle with a camera in the front for sefie ppl. Well, now they reached the end of that rectangle, and the last they can do to solve the selfie cam prob is make it an in-display one, which is max 2 years away and then the diff will only be in Performance and cam quality, which is irrelevent cuz manuf.part gets cheaper evry year. Conclution? Smartphone market is dying

Did you even watch the video? Arun clearly says that people are preferring premium smartphones over cheaper ones. And premium phones come with good display, latest soc and newest os.
@@prabhuprasad3679 just saying that smartphones aren't dying but we'll prefer them 10 to 1 when it comes to scrolling through Instagram or music playback, making phones almost obsolete (like using your laptop to look at Facebook)
And so in a way smartphones are going to die out of usage and fashion but not existence
@@prabhuprasad3679 yes I watched the video, some editing error perhaps, and his predictions seem solid
@@prabhuprasad3679 I did watch the video, that is why i posted my comment. The point of the video is that in his opinion, smarthpones as they are now, will be more and more useless and smaller, more powerfull and warable devices will take their place.
My theory is kind of different because how I see it, the more get into the future, the bigger smartphones get, in size. So going from a huge 6’7 / 7 inch smartphone to a smartchwatch wouldn’t be ideal.
I am not going to stand people commanding their phones by voice. What a travesty for sound boundaries. Touch is priority.
Holograms.
Haven't even started the video yet, just...
Holograms.
I believe the future is something like Samsung Dex, where you plug your phone to a screen and it becomes a desktop. Big screens and a keyboard are necessary.
I'm not upgrading my phone solely because the new flagships I want doesn't have a headphone jack.
you're not alone my dude
I held off as long as I could on touchscreens, N97 was a grudged upgrade...
use dongles
@@itzibrahimm2616 dongles are ugly, inconvenient, and often deliver lower sound quality.

When someone says voice commands are the future....it finally reveals their lack of knowledge in the tech sector.
@MuscularBye sure
Muscularbye ok clearly the future is talking awkwardly to yourself in a public place so your device can do shit
Voice commands will probably be common for simple commands for a short term, but he mentioned brain implants too. With smart glasses, that is probably what the future holds.
Future technology always reminds me of the show "Black Mirror"
"People are using iphones for over 2 years"
Me:"using my tab for over 6 years"
I'm 100% texting this on a Nokia 3310 mark my word it's still working in 2019.
Yeah my Samsung tab after about 7 years its still working
I spent the whole day in my day off watching your videos and I absolutely love them, mad respect for the technology im seeing getting developed, but can't help feel like one of them old folks who scared of tech haha, out of all these great phones my pic was the energizer thicc bio who I wished had a headphone jack XD
I don't use voice commands since one thing I love about touch screen smartphones is being silent (compared to the old noisy keypaded phones)
Look at the Pixel 4 and Project Soli
New innovation!!
look at the galaxy s4
can do most of the things of the pixel 4

Yeah no I'm not putting anything INSIDE my head. My router is already giving me migraines
Its not your router. You are walking through router signals and wireless signals everywhere you go, thousands of them, and signals more powerful than your router.
@@tubester4567 Yeah you know its a joke thing right

@@WhiteWhisper2 No otherwise we would all be dead.

HTC U11 squeeze function is magnificent. U12 has it very refined. Sadly HTC are kinda falling off the market and the "edge sense" function I'd being picked up by other brands.
Squeeze function ? Like the ROG has ? And doesn't the Pixel have that too ? Or something close to it ?
HTC is basically manufacturing pixels these days but then yes the brand is close to dead
was think of upgrading my HTC m8 to the U11-but the squeezable sides put me off
Htc pioneered the squeeze function. They also manufacture Google pixel phones
@@burlhorse61 Why ? Can't you disable it ?
Arun: voice control
Me: oh noes now I can’t hide my phone from my parents at night
If Voice Commands are the future, I don't wanna live in that noisy world where everyone is talking to themselves.
i changed my s7 this week with s9 plus and the s7 after a sexurity update is lagging so much!!
Rip s7 series it was a great journey.

I'm on my s7 now and I can agree. Sadly I wont be able to upgrade soon so I've gotta keep it.

This explains why I plan to build a Desktop Linux Phone.
It could take phone calls, SMS, a few simple Touch-based Apps for simple tasks, but I could also pull out the keyboard to use these Advanced Desktop Linux Apps I currently need my Tower for.
By the way I've already replaced my dedicated PC speakers with a Multi- Purpose speaker. Instead of having a Wire Salad, I can simply use Only One 3.5mm Cable to connect the speakers, and then disconnect them when I need it for my phone instead.
If this is the future, having things implanted in you,I'm so happy I'm nearing the end. Having things planted into you is a great way of government control.
im REALLY looking forward to my mind being read. HONEST!
