He forgot to also mention that you have the boost throughout the entire process
Edit: I know that you don’t have to boost, I was talking about just the kickoff for those who didn’t know.
U don’t have to but it is recommended for beginners, generally speaking if u have no boost and do the flip properly, two speed flips without boost and ur at supersonic speed

No, if you're already at Super Sonic, you're wasting Boost. Start using it just before landing to maintain momentum.

My god, so this is kickoff speed flipping, ive been doing this the entire time. But not on kickoffs, because I like to control where the ball is going for fast cheats. Which is better??

@@nwesterbeckmaster there's a video by someone called Tipp. The video is called easiest way to speed flip. The front flip cancel method is really a lot easier in my opinion.

Yea if you do it this way, I don’t think you can beat Musty’s speed flip test. I could be wrong but I haven’t been able to do it. And if you use the plugin it says the angle is off
@@chaeairsoft you can do it this way. I've beat musties speed flip pack with it you just have to get a perfect front flip cancel and do it really fast.
I think the less skilled players should also understand that if you aren’t going to land properly holding the drift button can counter most bad/unaligned landings

So you pull down I. The opposite direction, not the same direction. Your stick looks to go up-left then down-right....

@yourjudgement7741 no, watch carefully, he pulls down in the same direction too. But then moves his stick over to the otherside to adjust the vehicle while it's still in the air.

Instructions unclear. Ended up hitting a flip reset musty.
Should make a video of how to flip. Like the ins and out of flips, what flips are good to use where and what angles to hold your stick at etc
You can also hold air roll to get the diagonal flip consistently

You can try a method where you hold directional air roll and front flip cancel. There's a video on it by a youtuber named Tipp "easiest way to speed flip". I encourage you to check it out.
its ez just stop ur diagonal flip and let go of the stop then hold the air roll side ur diagonal flipping taa-daah u did a speed flip
@@joeykoch5664bruh i only have the side speedflip down(the one where you diagonal flip in the same direction that you are air rolling) but the other one(which i use more often or i at least try to) just somehow becomes a full front flip even when rolling

You got this bro c1 is the best “high” rank to hit in 1s. It feels the most accomplishing. I was c1 in 2s when I hit c1 in 1s, i don’t play 1s anymore but I’m still c1 at gc1, it’s hard lol. Enjoy the process though and try not to rage like me

You can also hold an air roll directional button, like air roll left, while doing a normal front flip and it will diagnoal flip. If you cancel that flip itll do a speed fleep. Its easier than having to find the right spot on your analog stick every time.

I WANT to scrape the ground sometimes depending on the scenario. When falling, I always try to land with only one wheel touching to get the car moving sooner rather that taking a bit more time by trying to land flush. Been doing this for years.
and what rank are you?
Unless youre landing into a wavedash then that isnt better(only the back wheels accelerate if you know how cars work)

You also can not airroll and do it the exact way you are showing, wait until the two tires touch steer into it slightly and then jump+air roll opposite direction and speedflip into a zap dash

You cancel the flip halfway through by holding down on the joystick. So you will stop flipping and be upside down if you did a regular front flip

Watching some videos, it seems I have to much imput lag to even get a quick enough flip cancel as I'm playing on xbox. I guess I'll just play for fun with a disadvantage till I can get a PC.

go to free play and just work on touching the ball in general. once you can hit it consistently, practice hitting it in actual directions and controlling where on the ball you touch it
Go in freeplay and practice hitting the ball as hard as you can while boosting the entire time. Do this for ten minutes as a warm up before you play a match. You can also do training packs for shooting accuracy. Oh yeah, watch Wayton Pilkin's video on back post rotation. No one at your rank will be doing it yet, but that will give you a huge advantage in improving your defense. Remember that win or lose, play for fun!

Hold your directional airroll (left or right whatever one you use) front flip perfectly straight (no cancel needed no nothing it works on the speed flip test) canceling the flip does help tho you do need to do that but a good base is just front flip while holding airroll cancel to level it out

his tutorial is complete ass idk what binds you use but using r1 as boost square and O as air roll left and right is way easier just play claw middle finger on boost pointer finger on air roll left then flip cancel its easy

Which is better ball cam or no ball cam?
Go back and forth. Usually ball cam, turn off to get bearings and/or line up with the next boost pad you're rotating to, then turn on.
