One of the more realistic dumps I've seen. Very similar to what I carry. I hate seeing some of these pocket dumps online that have more stuff than you can possibly fit in your pockets and altogether weighs 15 pounds.
A few recommendations I could throw out: 1. Phlster Enigma system (throw out leg leash), complete game changer to not have to worry about belts. Can wear in swim trunks, or under a tux with shirt tucked in. Can clip on extra mag, knife, and anything with a pocket clip, especially with their sport belt. Insanely comfy and reliable. 2. Snakestaff Systems EDQT, small tourniquet that I wear clipped onto the aforementioned belt. 3. Anitmatter Industries wing for the TLR-7 Sub, folding gas pedal wing that fits whatever holster ur running. Takes a bit of adjustment, but easily done and works crazy well.
The Spiritus dudes have gotta be some of the most badass dudes in this space. Humble, quiet, but VERY formidable. 😅 My "light weight" EDC is an old Spyderco Para 2, Surefire EDC, SOF-T stuffed in my sock, and a .32 S&W J Frame in my blue jean pocket. A sub second draw and a dry press that makes the front sight look like the gun is just sittin on a table lol. No reloads and ZERO f**ks given. My mind is the most dangerous weapon; everything else is just ancillary stuff...😚
crazy how much overlap we have in our edc. I daily a shadow system cr920 but otherwise everything else is pretty spot on. I use a g10 by Dullboy if im not carrying a compliance edge blade on my left side and a microtech or spyderco pm3 in my right pocket. The other differences are: a MOFT magsafe wallet adhered to my iphone, and an Alpaka keyfob that i recommend to anyone that edcs. The wallet and keyfob frees up pocket space while also being easily carried no matter what I am wearing. I also wear my zero belt under basketball shorts and sweatpants and it solves that problem too, especially with the tenicor DCC clips
Grat pocket dump Kevin. I think that Sig rocks. Sigs fit my hands better than Glocks. Only thing I would add would be a kerchief/Bandana. So versatile especially in silk. Nate
A compact tourniquet like the Snakestaff Systems everyday tourniquet, and at least a minimal trauma kit are the only things I can think of to potentially add. I hardly notice that tq compared to trying to EDC a CAT on my belt.
@@stephenbarabas6286 if they want to have the ability to potentially save their own life, a family members life, or someone else they come upon after an accident they do. Yeah I was a bit surprised when he edc all those weapons without having any boo boo kit. If I carry a gun, then I'll definitely carry a tourniquet (at least).
You don't need a tourniquet. I was a medic for 15 years, and never needed to use a tourniquet, out of thousands of calls involving gunshot wounds, stabbings, amputations. Not to mention applying a tourniquet adds several complications to an otherwise straightforward situation.

It's is the most ultralight way to carry a full size gun and everything you could need but all of it is the lightest possible options. That sig is still ultralight compared to a g17/surefire x300/aimpoint across. A carbon Fibre knife is lighter than d2 steel.
Nearly identical EDC for me. I do carry a SWAT-T tourniquet in a little mesh pouch (random one I bought on Amazon and modified) in each back pocket. I barely notice them and then I have two tourniquets if need be. They also fit my children as well as adults.
Surprised no one has had a “Wazoo cache belt” yet. And yeah you can slip something inside where you carry to make it more ridged and also still fit an entire survival kit inside without it feeling like you are carrying anything in it with some spare cash and other things, and and and.
I also carry the SIG Macro, mine has the SIG Romeo 2 red dot Made in USA and the Sig Foxtrot light, also Made in USA. The rest of my EDC pretty much mirrors yours, minus the chapstick, with a few different brands, but same items.👍🏽
I love that everyone's edc is different as long as u are carrying something. I carry a smith and wesson model 459 with an extra mag phone keys small med kit
Mine is very similar, but instead of a fixed blade and can't live without carrying a small multitool. Having a phillips, flathead, and small pliers is incredibly useful.
I was never a much of a SIG fan, especially in the days when everyone loved the P226. The Macro was the first one that interested me enough to buy it. So far, I have no regrets leaving the 48 for the Macro.
@@kevinmcdowell3446 I’ve owned two. Both of them felt incredibly cheap. The slide moves ever so slightly when you pull the trigger, too. Albeit these were standard 365’s. Still left a lot to be desired. We all get to carry what we want 🤝
I've always wondered if an frp like the cold steel is good enough. Black triangle is great, but i have 2 active outdoor young daughters that while they dont seem to lose their glocks or radios, do on occasion loose or misplace expensive knives.
I’d replace the second knife that is the least useful, with something else. There is obviously a “tactical” advantage in carrying a pointy tool at the ready, I see that (in case the situation prevents you from pulling out the other tool due to the threat’s proximity). But if you end up in such a messed up position, well you somehow failed (unless it’s your job to seek these situations of course). One’s first line of defense, is good eyes, a sharp mind and worst case good cardio. Anticipating is key, especially if you’re in charge of other people, right ?
For your xmacro. I’d suggest getting the tlr7 sub and the micro wing by anti matter industries. The wing is made so it can fit into any holster that fits a tlr7 sub.
Ditch one of the blades and add an OC spray for a less than lethal option. If that’s not enough stuff to carry you add a tactical pen, handcuff key and ankle IFAC .
My suggestion: - Put away the folding knife, one fixed blade should be good enough. - Carry at least one tourniquet and a small boo boo kit. - Maybe consider a fanny pack for lil more edc storage. Best luck bud 👌🏻
@@terrytoman4227 Good point, but I tend to use my flashlight as my non-lethal force, and my handgun for the lethal one. I always avoid knife fighting as much as possible, and if somehow my handgun doesn't work, then I would utilize the pointy end of my blade for some quick lethal strikes. I wouldn't want to play around with hacking n slashing in that situation tho. But yeah, keeping a razor sharp blade is never a bad idea.
You can never tell who is being paid by sig and who isn’t. However the “17 rounds in such a small frame” line I hear all the time makes me curious if there is incentive here.
Kevin’s awesome. And anyone can carry whatever they want. But he complains about the lack of capacity of the g48 but then also carries a spare mag with the 365…
I’ll have to check out the black triangle g10 knives. I agree with carrying separate defensive and utility blades, and I’ve been using and training pikal style blades exclusively for this. Love the Shivworks stuff, but nonmetallic is a nice option. I prefer my blade midline where you carry the spare mag though, so I can reach it with either hand (weak side forward grip, strong side reverse grip so the edge faces toward me). Spare mag 8 or 9 o’clock, I’m less likely to need that in a clinch. I never use the social knife for utility tasks.
The nitecore EDC27 is my preferred flashlight. Thin and very pocketable (literally has EDC in the name) it has a 2 different lockout modes and a light sensor so it won’t go high lumen in your pocket even if it isn’t locked. It has 2 buttons. 1 for cycling between 15,65,200, and 1000 lumen modes and an emergency 3000 lumen mode (steady or strobe depending on full or half press)on its own separate button that only does momentary so it won’t stay on in your pocket. Rechargeable and it has a killer battery life. I sound like a shill but I genuinely just like my flashlight. $90 so it’s a little pricey but worth it imo.
