Swamp N Stomp is a channel or vlog, whatever you want to call it, dedicated to helping the hunting community grow, specifically in Florida. Studies show that the majority of modern hunters had family members who raised them as hunters, and a large portion of non-hunters want to hunt but don't know where to start. By documenting our hunting adventures, making instructional or tutorial videos, and really anything-hunting-related videos, we hope to help bridge that gap by providing practical information for beginner and experienced hunters on how to become a better and more ethical hunter. Click that subscribe button and join us for the ride! Thanks for watching!

Hole could be turtle nest.
Hi guys I was born in Miami but live up in Indiantown now and I have gone out locally hog hunting and tried to get a deer however I couldn’t get any of the quarter hands up around where I live so I figured I’d head into JW Corbett or Kissimmee/Okeechobee and man I couldn’t believe how many alligators I was running into… Can you guys make a video on the potential dangers out there?
I’m looking to start hunting and I’m looking at FWC harvest reports and the numbers dont seem right... for example camp blanding archery hunting days 1175 and total deer harvested is only 19???? So the odds are less than 2% to get an archery kill at all and a 0.25% chance of killing a buck??? Or are these daily averages??
coyo probably building a den
Got my quota for blackwater. Panhandle. Where you hunting?
Will be hunting a few places through out the state. I don’t wanna name drop because even if it’s not a major place to us it might be someone else favorite place to hunt. -Danny
I bet it was going after a marsh rabbit for some lunch
Very possible but right after he left I checked it out and there was nothing in the hole. Unless he was holding his breath under that pinecone. -Danny
Hey guy's new to the hunting scene, besides a hunting license, wma's do you need a permit.if so how does one go about getting one.thanks in advance, any info would be appreciated.
So you don’t need a quota on some areas and on others you do. You can apply for quotas (limited entry hunts) on line at gooutdoorsflorida.com you’ll need to look on myfwc.com for a map of none quota hunts in your area. -Danny
@@SwampNStomp thanks guys for the response.keep the videos coming 👍
Also you do need a management area permit which is like $26 for the year and is good for access to any WMA. -Mark
@@SwampNStomp great so wma permit and a license for the year.thank you for the info guys.

Deer in Florida...lol
jason Michaud ummmm what does that mean?
You might be surprised Jason...
People think about Florida as beaches and bars, and gators and pigs if anything. They don't realize the passion for deer hunting we have here. Some people will say the deer are small, and not worth it. My opinion is that it's just so tricky, and different then anywhere else in the country, and if someone can't find success in our swampland they just say it's a joke. Sure we don't grow huge bucks with massive racks, but if you can kill a legal deer on Florida public land you're a real hunter.
THE COUNTRY NINJA if people say we don’t grow massive deer with big racks in Florida, kinda direct them to our video where I killed a 100+” 8 point, and our buddy Alex killed a 130+” 10 point on the same day in the same area. And we have some equally study bucks on cam this season too. -Mark
Hey Mark, I'm right there with you. Ive got a FL buck in my dining room that is a perfect main frame 8. That rack has a ton of mass, at the base the circumference was 6 3/4 inches, and he weighed 200lbs. All I meant is that we don't have booners like up north. Like I said people just use that as an excuse. They don't want to put in the hard work it takes to kill a deer down here. Is hot, it's pressured and the terrain can be unforgiving. It's takes real hunters like you, and your boys to get it done. Keep up the good work. I'll be here watching.
New subscriber here. Love your video. We have a similar UA-cam channel if you want to check it out, "Hunt and Gather with the Chatters".
Thanks for checking us out. Just subscribed to ur channel.

Hi JP, there definitely are a lot of gators around. Mostly in canals, you’ll see the smaller ones in ponds and puddles often. Honestly they want nothing to do with humans for the most part. Same goes for snakes they will try to avoid you as much as they can. Just always be keep an eye out for them and avoid them. If you come across a snake that’s in a trail give it some space and it won’t bother you. Try to avoid killing them because they have a role to play in our ecosystem just like everything else.
