I played AC in the most random order LOL, started with AC2 then Black flag, then odyssey then ac1 etc.. then one day i decided to replay the whole series in chronolgical order and it all made much more sense. I think many people find the AC franchise overwhelming (especially newcomers) because there’s so much going on and alot of people just wanna dive straight into their favourite map or setting so i think this video is a great help.
I started with AC4, then syndicate (as it was free on epic games so I had to try it out) then AC3, then finished the RPG trilogy, then came to AC brotherhood, AC 2 and AC revelations and then AC unity coz why not? Then came to AC 1, then AC rogue and then finally played AC Mirage.... I've had quite the journey 😅😅
Started with AC2, then brotherhood, revelations a bit … Completed AC Origins, Oddysey, Valhalla (the worse of new AC’s). Played also AC3, Black Flag and Unity (currently). I havent passed any of them currently…
@@freddislettis9835 yeah I was kind of in the same boat, my parents wouldn't let me play it for the longest time and now my PS3 doesn't even work anymore 😭
AC games was introduced to me in 2009, I was in mid school. But not until in 2013 I finally able to play one since I wasnt from a financially stable family. Love this series, hopefully AC1 will have a remake.
I started playing AC in 2022 after watching your videos. It’s also my favorite series, and it’s what has driven my interest in history and compelled my parents to take my family to Italy and Greece in 2023. I just love the settings, the idea of the Assassin/Templar conflict, and the freedom that most games offer. I’m one of those people who enjoys grinding, so working on full synchronization appeals to me as well. Thanks for the amazing content! It makes my day to see you have posted, and the long form videos are very nice to listen to when I’m cooking.
Same I started with ac2 and got addicted to that after I played rogue and unity but never realised they were linked untill I got round to the final rogue mission
When i was a kid the only thing that was on mind when at school was to just get home and play AC 2 on my xbox 360, i loved it but didn't know anything about assassin's creed as a whole. Fast forward 10 years and i randomly saw a video about AC 3 and the absolute aura that conner had, hooked me to play the game. now I'm reliving my childhood playing the older games.
When I was little I played ac2 on my stepdads Xbox360 after he told me the game was too mature for me. When Mario told Ezio to respect his enemies as to not become them, that stuck with me and I’ll remember that until the day I die.
I became interested in Assassin's Creed back in 2017. Back then my dad had recommended it to me, saying that I'll love it, cause I'm a history buff. I started with 2, and slowly collected the entire franchise, many spinoffs, the film and the books as well. Today it basically burned into my soul, making every history-related thing more exciting than before. Moreover if you read this MasterAssassin, I'd like to thank you for all these videos you make, and how high quality they are! Slowly but surely you became my favourite content creator, and I wish you success with this channel, and in life as well!
Unlike most of the people, I started the series on the KaiOS version of Assassin's Creed Brotherhood and it's poster attracted me a lot, that game I played was a 2D game but when I searched for it's name I got to see a 3D game. That's how I got into the series.
I started with Assassin's Creed 3 because it looked interesting and I enjoyed it. I figured out how to play it all by myself, I got it on my 18th birthday now I'm 28
My first AC game was AC2 back close to its release. But I've been a fan ever since, even through my skepticism of newer titles. The original draw to AC for me was playing a game that felt very close to realistically possible; with its action and with its story. That together made AC one of the most immersive games I've ever played. It inspired me to learn parkour, martial arts, and philosophy; all of which I still enjoy today; so I owe a lot to the creative minds behind the creation of the series. AC Brotherhood is still in my top 5 favorite games and I don't think that'll ever change
I started because I got Odyssey as a gift and said, that doesnt really live up to title, before playing Rouge (only one my Laptop could hold) and then 3, Unity and Black Flag, then the Ezio collection, then Origins and Valhalla, then every book, before then starting my timeline of every AC project
I started with Black Flag, followed by Unity and Syndicate. Then I bought the Ezio Trilogy, but after Brotherhood I played AC 1 so I could get the plot of Revelations. Currently I'm playing AC 3,but there's still a lot to cover 😂 Started playing in 2021
I started playing these games when i was a little kid at this time I got my arm broken and we were close to my birthday once everything was settled and i felt bad for my self my cousin bought me console and assassins creed syndicate the first time i palyed this game i was impressed i started going on youtube seeing people playing when i saw your channel i unferstood everything in this series an my favorite is ac unity thanks bro!
I started playing the whole series this year ❤ I’m up to Syndicate right now, omg i love Syndicate there’s something about that game that doesn’t let me stop playing it!!!
7:42 AC Unity was my first ever Assassin’s Creed experience. I loved it right away, and AC Unity being my introduction into the series may be the reason why I think it’s the best. Unity has exactly what I expected from Assassin’s Creed. Densely populated streets, the empty rooftops that allow the Assassins to traverse in silence, and the overall setting really bring home the perfect Assassin’s Creed feel. It will probably always be my favorite Assassin’s Creed game, even if I’m alone in that opinion.
My introduction to assassin creed is probably different from everyone else because I started on a model game called assassin creed pirates that game got pulled from the app store not sure why but it did. Then after a few years one of my step brothers liked the AC games so he gave me AC Origins than after beating that I asked him where to start and he said”start at the first game” and so I did. Fast forward to now and I have beaten every mainline AC game and most spinoffs and DLCs . For newcomers I would say play whichever game you think looks cool than if you want to comeback and play the other AC games. If any newcomers have any questions I would happily answer them to the best of my ability.
ive played ac for a while now and the main thing that always brings me back to them is the story because once i really get into i always wanna see how it ends up turning out for the person we play as and stealth side of stuff is just really fun because theres always different ways u can go at taking out the enemies
I really do enjoy all of the AC Games, and every single one has their charm. I enjoy both the old and rpg style of AC games too. I highly recommend anyone new to the series to check out each game to see which one clicks for you. The franchise as a whole is def one of my favorite game series of all time
I personally started back in 2017-18 with Origins and then played Odyssey which I didn't like so I stopped. Assassin's Creed 3 Remastered then got me back to the series and I played all the games in quite a short period of time and since then AC has been my favorite game series ever, these days closely followed by Like A Dragon series. Unfortunately these days I'm quite skeptical about the future of AC but I'll never get enough of the old games
I’m lucky I was able to play the Very First Game back on the PlayStation 3. When it comes to play a Franchise that’s over 15 Years it can be overwhelming. But thankfully this is the Series I grew up with since Middle School. Nowadays I’m trying to get into the Video Game Series.
I started the games with Origins and I'm now finishing Odyssey. I'll then go to Valhalla and then I want to go back to the older games. It has been a blast so far!
Valhalla is somewhat repetitive and kinda grindy, but, if you like origins and Odyssey, you should like it. Also, I recommend you play AC 1, the Ezio trilogy, and AC III in chronological order for it to make more sense.
i started with ac 2 and i am now trying ac rogue and loving it more and more the closer i get to the end, in all this is one of the best trologies of aal time in my opinion
Some of my earliest memories of this series is playing AC2 on the DSI and this one mobile game based on the first AC game religiously as a kid. I also remember trying the first AC game on ps3 but was too young at the time to understand what I was doing as it was my first M rated game that I can remember so I put the game down. Years later I gave the series another chance playing AC3 way back around the Wii U era. From that point on and to this day I've been hooked into the series. Might possibly be my personal favorite. AC made me interested in history, helped me figure out what kind of games I like in terms of genre as I love stealth action, provided me with some of my favorite memories and moments out of all the video games i've played and inspired my fashion sense and fondness for hoodies lol. The assassin fantasy these games offer give me a feeling that no other games do, making me feel like a total badass taking down targets like a bird stalking and catching its prey only to escape doing the coolest parkour moves and vanish like a ghost within a crowd.
I’m an og fan been playing them as they came out since the first one in 2008 I was 14 and am 30 now. Definitely my favorite video game series of all time, one that I’ll never outgrow either I probably enjoy them even more as I got older. The story is great, it has fun stealth gameplay. It’s chill not too hard not too easy and lots of exploration in historical settings something I can relax to after work. My reccomendation is to start at ac1 and play all the main games up through mirage. With Ubisoft plus you can stream them and binge play them. Once you get to the RPG trilogy you may want to just buy them because they require a lot of hours to complete
Believe it or not I actually started with Unity back when Origins was the newest game. And after loving that game so much I started playing through all the games. Finishing up Valhalla now, hoping to get all caught up for Shadows. And make sure to keep up the excellent content that I will continue to watch.
thank you for the nice video, I started playing AC in 2023 and it's my favourite franchise since then. My friend just wanted to start with playing AC and I recommend him some games like origin or 2 and he now startet with origins. I personally startet with AC 1 and play them in the release order with the spin offs. Could you please make a video about all lore based media of ac covering books, games, films and all that , thank you.
It started back when I was around 10 and played Brotherhood all the way to Syndicate in order. My dad started playing it and I would watch him play all the time. At some point I started playing it myself and loved the stealth and parkour aspect. I stopped because the following games started going in a direction I didn’t enjoy. I always loved videos about AC and kept up with it time to time and even revisited my favorites like AC 3. However with Shadows has finally made me interested in buying a modern AC game. I hope it doesn’t disappoint
My recommended starting points would be AC1, Black Flag, Unity, or Origins. Play them in release order for them to make the most sense. The novels usually have a game associated with them (forsaken and AC3, Desert oath and origins, etc.) Play the game associated with the book before u read it if u plan on getting into the books. The assassins and templar comic serieses are set mostly during a gap between syndicate and origins in the release order. The 2 comic serieses comine into 1 series called uprising and it concludes a plotline left over from the modern day sections of the game. If you're interested in the comics, start there.
My birthday was on the 26th... Thanks for making great AC vids.... Been binge watching your vids up to this point... Glad i found this chanel... Ive given up on convincing you to play monster hunter... But if i am seeing ac shadows footage it will be coming from here and not anywhere else.... This was honestly the first chanel i came across after finishing ac brotherhood in 2023.
A tip I had is to not rush it no matter how fast or easy pro players make it seem just taking time to look at guard roots and look at the layout can make a huge difference
Was introduced to it by my buddy at the time when Brotherhood came out. Got Revelations for Christmas the following year, fell in love with the series then started from the beginning. Beat every main title since 2011. Best series ever, even with the rpg style ones. The og style is still the better way of playing in my opinion, but I’ve either liked or loved every game that has come out.
Starting with Altair's Chronicles, I got attracted by the gameplay mechanics and just Altair looking cool, I recommended Black Flag (for naval combat) and Unity (visual) for some of my friends who were thinking of getting into the series, and both of them I think are still pretty much 'old-school' AC games
For me, the history and setting is what makes AC great. I’ve learn some legitimate history from these games, and the Tours that you can do for some of them are amazing. I’ve been playing since I had to make a choice with birthday money in 2007. Assassins Creed or Mass Effect. I went with AC (and got ME for Christmas 1 month later). I haven’t completed Rogue and Mirage, but I’ve been a fan since the original E3 trailer.
What you said about where you should start is spot on for multiple reasons: Unity does great job with good graphics and fun gameplay while having a lot of the assassins. Chronologically will just spoil the modern day for you and will make transistuoning between old and new games very jarring. Like mirage to ac1
I learned about Assassin's Creed randomly on UA-cam and back then I didn't had any PC or console, I liked the game solely for parkour (because I didn't knew much about game genres, storylines and stuff I just cared about action and parkour.) so I played Valhalla on a cloud gaming emulator and my wifi was so crap I could just reach the enemies in the start then I stopped playing. Then after a few minths I found out about another cloud gaming emulator named chikki, by then I had known about unity and I absolutely LOVED the parkour in it. So I started playing Unity for the parkour and Ended up completing the whole game In the emulator. It took a month almost but I absolutely enjoyed it. Finding the new robes, missions Or anything. Though I didn't do stealth since I had never played a single stealth game before so assassin's Creed introduced me to stealth. (I never even tried to be stealthy in unity lol) Anyway after unity I played Black flag in the emulator for a few days but stopped cuz grinding for the coins was nuts. ThenI got a PS4, The first game I played in it was GOW 2018 and Ragnarok, then mirage was released and I played mirage, though i was kinda disappointed cause the parkour and everything was o different from until and BF but when I played it, I liked it. I finished mirage like 3 months ago, now I'm playing revelations. Yeah I've completed Brotherhood and 2 and I love those games too, mirage was the first game I tried to be stealthy in. I'm planning to play 3,4,rouge and then origins. Just want to say, assassin's Creed is one of the BEST game I ever played, and I hope Ubisoft don't mess it up and turn the franchise into full fledged RPG cuz those types of games are Not my type at all.
I've never played Assasin's Creed, but I've watched playthroughs of all of the mainline games and Liberations because I appreciate the lore. My favorite part of the video games that I've played is the lore. I played games in the Diablo and Elder Scrolls series, having played Diablo 2, 3, and Immortal and TES V: Skyrim, but I've watched playthroughs of all of the other mainline and some side games because I appreciate the lore in those series, as well.
My first introduction to assasins creed was black flag and i loved it. It was the first game i ever played start to finish. I then got odyssey because i loved greek mythology and only recently started playing chronologicaly, now in the middle of the second game.
When I first started playing Assassin's Creed I was there for the stealth, then the hiddenblade was just such a cool concept to me, and later on. The fact that it's so philosophical is so cool, I don't know any other game series that dives this deep into morals and philosophy. And ofcourse the history, the fact that you can play in a world of another time is the closest we'll get to travelling back in time. If anyone is wondering, my first game was syndicate, then black flag, ac origins, odessey, unity, ac 2, brotherhood, revelations, valhalla, ac 3, rogue, mirage. I still wish to play ac1 but can't cuz I have a ps4 and now a ps5, on which you can't play ac1 unfortunately.
I started with revelations when it first came out. Then went to AC3 when that came out and then played AC2 and then brotherhood and then Ac1 all before AC4/blackflag came out. That order was amazing for me. Starting with the old and wise version of Altair and Ezio then seeing them when they were young hit the high notes for me. AC3 was revolutionary for me (see what I did there). the dynamics between Connor and Haytham and just how badass both of them are was amazing. When black flag came out, that was the first taste of games like Origins or Odyssey world wise. Black flag opened up the possibilities and I was in love. Unity and Rouge were the cherry on top of all those S tier games. Unity while it was buggy at first, was everything I wanted. Amazing parkour on an amazing layout of buildings, and you could do it with your friends which let us free roam for hours having a blast. I mean, Syndicate was really the first bad game for me, I still am not a fan even tho I just went back to it to finish it. Syndicate is the only fluke for me, and Odyssey as I just couldn’t get into that. I’m trying to finish the game even tho I started it back in 2018. I beat and put 400 hrs in Valhalla and I’m not lying when I say I enjoyed that game. Mirage, boy oh boy, mirage hits the sweet tooth I’ve been aching for since Unity all the way back in 2014. Amazing parkour despite its flaws, the city layout is fantastic and one of the best. Story is what an assassins creed story should be or was and while being basic, it’s very enjoyable and I like having Basims background. I’m like beyond excited for Shadows, I remember in the film of ezios death when he meets the Japanese or Chinese girl I can’t remember, I wanted a game set in feudal Japan. That’s a long time and I’m so glad it’s finally coming. I honestly pre ordered because I know I’ll put 500 hrs into that game easily and yall can mark my words here. “Don’t pre order” yeah yeah, but for me I know I’ll love the game,
When i was young i used to watch my brother play 2 and brotherhood i loved that you can gobto a historical place Anyway the first AC game that i played was revelation because my brother Didn't have a chance to play that and i knew enough about Ezio And the second and third game i played was unity and syndicate
Because of your channel i got into Assassin’s creed back in early 2023, i now have more than 400 hours in the AC games, though it’s the RPG ones (Origins/Odyssey and Mirage) i guess long story short, i want to thank you very much for getting me into these absolute personal favorites… i really appreciate it! Can you suggest any of the older ones? I got my eyes on Black Flag and Unity.
I never played video games but I was always fascinated by AC when I saw any sort of media about it. One year I got hurt on a surf trip and I was just sitting around and thought I'd just try one.. first real video game I played since Nintendo. It was AC Odyssey and I was instantly hooked.
3 years ago, I started with AC syndicate because I wanted to play the most recent game that was not an RPG. I really enjoy 3rd person stealth games and had intentionally put AC off for a long time. It was games like TLOU, Uncharted, and then the Hitman (2016) series that finally made me take the AC dip in the water. So I found Syndicate fun but as a noob to the series I had no idea what the modern day storyline was. It was another whole year before I decided to try the Ezio trilogy. I definitely enjoyed it better but then I went back and played Syndicate with a better appreciation. Just this past month I played AC 3 remasters. That really tied things up for me, especially the modern day. I'm not sure if I'll buy any more AC games, but Iif I did I might invest in Unity and/or Mirage at most. All this to say that based on my experience with the series, I'd tell someone to start with the Ezio trilogy. It's often on sale so if you don't like it, no great loss, but if you do like it, then you have two more games to play. Plus for me anyway, I really wanted to see what happens next so I did get AC III. None of the games are perfect but that was probably my favorite in hindsight.
Black Flag’s modern day and Animus simulations are new player friendly as both feature characters (in so much that the newbie is a character) who are new to world of Assassins vs Templars and gain more understanding as both storylines continue. The Abstergo Entertainment facility gives you access to files through hacking minigames that explain more about background and previous characters, usually with an Abstergo propaganda twist, which give some insight into wider lore without bombarding you with mandatory dialogues that could get annoying on the subject.
Since I got a new PC, I actually have been on a massive replay of the series since last year. I got all the way up to Origins now and playing through the DLC. Although, I still have the psp Altair game, and the 2.5 d platformer trilogy to go through too.
Very good video. Must say that the one you made some time ago had more info about the route of playing. My recommendation would be: 1. Chronologically (by the time of period of the game - no need for Odyssey) 2. The way of when the games got out - no need for Odyssey Only problem with the 1st one would be that it is hard to get back to the graphics and physics of AC 1 or 2 after Unity, Syndicate and rpg games.
for me, if you intend to play ac you gotta keep in mind the modern day story line, at least for the first 5 games. The rest is really not important in term of modern day story, but those 5 first games are a must to play by modern day order (release order)
Been an AC fan since the first game. Played through the entire series multiple times on multiple platforms. My first AC experience was AC brotherhood. To this day, Ezio Trilogy is the best the series has ever had. Every other AC game is good in its own right.
Honestly what's makes me love AC is the story and stealth and how you can parkour anywhere and i have more of a option what to play and what time setting
I've played every game except odyssey because i refuse to . But i still watch this video because i genuinely enjoy your content and i love this video , you covered every single question i had before starting to play ! Personally i started playing for the history aspect of the serie but the stealth and especially the lore made me stay !
The Ezio Collection is an excellent compilation because it not only has all three games of the Ezio Trilogy with DLC packaged in, but contains two short films, one that follows his father and one that shows him in his twilight years. It’s also very widely available across multiple platforms including the Switch
For the newcomers, play what looks interesting to you. Every game has something different to offer. First AC game I played is AC Syndicate and it was really fun. Then I played AC4 and Origins and both are very different. Some of my favorite games in the series are Brotherhood, AC4, Unity and Origins.
I started from the beginning, I remember them announcing the first assassins creed, watching the trailer and getting the newest game informer with screen shots from the game, I was blown away with how that gen consoles was pumping out so many amazing looking games.
The first trailers, rumours, leaks, dev diaries or whatever for the original. I was super excited since I first heard of it. Waiting was painful, checking often for new information. When I finally got it it was everything I hoped it would be and the gameplay fell into place like it was designed for my hands. Now, after learning more than I knew then, it's even better. I've played the first 2 probably 20 times each. And most of the others several times. Why did I stay with the series? I didn't, really. The last one I bought was Origins. Last one I played was Odyssey and I have no intention of buying any more. No longer for me. Hopefully it will be again.
those cinematic trailers for the first two games really got me hooked to the series im suprised they havent made a tv series for it since its another perfect medium
I remember I first played ac 1 on my gmas laptop then I play the all the other ac games growing up I started playing when I was 12 now I’m 22 so I’ve always followed the series never been a huge fan boy of it but it’s a solid series for the most part it has some weaknesses but it don’t steer me away I’ve beat every game and I’m going through replaying them trying to get the plat for all the mainline games currently done with ezio collection and ac3 working on ac4 right now and so on
My first ac game ever played was rogue then black flag and finally ac3 was the one to get me hooked and it was the constant strives between the assassins and templers that really interested me plus i jus love the kenway saga
Adding on to your section about "Why You Should Play Assassin's Creed." The biggest reason that the franchise stands out to me from other open world games is the historical setting. There are so many open world games, but most are fantasy worlds(Witcher, Skyrim, Elden Ring, etc...) or modern settings(Grand Theft Auto, Saints Row, Watch Dogs, etc...). I can not think of another franchise that consistently transports the player through time to roam the worlds and cultures of Ancient Egypt/Greece, Renaissance Italy, and The French Revolution which are only three examples of the many historical settings found in each game
There are Chronogical order Release order (recommended) And solo starts like Ac 1, Ac 4, Ac Unity, Ac Syndicate and the rpg trilogy and if you want even Ac Mirage
When I bought second-hand ps4 pro it has ac origins I played and absolutely loved it and extremely interested in the franchise and I played unity, syndicate now I'm playing ezio trilogy
Well AC 1 and and the Ezio Trilogi are conectit via dezmond, and then AC 4: Blak Flag is conectet as well via the the protagonist of AC 3 being the grand son of the proagonist of AC4, and AC Rouge protagonistul interacts with Hayman the antagonist of AC 3, and AC Rouge Protagonist kils the father of the AC Unity protagonistul, and AC Origins Odesy Valhala and Mirage are conectet, and thes ar conectet as well to the games from the top as the tech guy from AC 2 and 3 being the tech guy in valhala as well
I also played in a random order lol. Ac3, odyssey, origins, Valhalla, then Syndicate, black flag, unity, rogue, mirage, and now working on the ezio collection.
My interest in Assassins Creed started with Unity. Since that point, i've played Origins, Odyssey, Valhalla, AC3, Mirage, and Syndicate. I've never played 1, 2, Revelations, Brotherhood, and Rogue.
Just my 2 cents but I would probably give 3 different recommendations on what game to start with based on your preferences: I would only recommend the first Assassin's Creed as the starting point if you meet a few criteria: a) You want to follow the full modern day story from the beginning and b) You are are willing to put up with the first game being the most dated out of the entire series. I could see a new player getting turned off of the franchise because of how repetitive the original AC can be and how dated some of its mechanics are. But it is also not that long of a game so if you are willing to put up with that, start there. If you don't care as much about the modern day story, then I would recommend starting at either AC2, or Origins, depending on whether you want a more classic stealth focused game, or a more modern action focused game. AC2 is a great starting point if you prefer classic and stealth as it is one of the best (if not the best) game in the entire series, and has a whole trilogy around the beloved Ezio. But if you want to play a more modern game and like the idea of open world RPG mechanics, definitely start with Origins. This was the first game of this sort of RPG/open world reboot, and if you like it, you can follow it up with Odyssey and Valhalla which form another sort of trilogy in the modern day story (Layla's saga).
The only part that is necessary to play in chronological order is the first 4 games after that play unity or pick and choose where to start. Just keep in mind the first 4 game are conceded stories and I know ubi forgot but the Desmond arc was something else just 10/10, my favourite game of all time.
I recommend people start with AC2 and go from there or play origins because the story is genuinely great and if you go backwards then the parkour improves and the story is great for most
I started with the original AC game on my brothers box 360 in 2018 but never got past the first city, then played AC odyssey and it was so different but still liked it. But AC black flag is the best one I have ever played
My first Assassin's Creed game and AAA game i bought in general was Valhalla, and i really enjoyed the whole game to the point where i have 100% on it. This led to me buying the games one by one down to Unity form newest to oldest, Which is weard, but i wanted the newst games, cince i didn't care about the story at that point and wasn't yet involved in the fanbase ether. After playing these games it whent a while, until i decided to buy the rest of the games and play all of them except for the RPG trilogy, because they where just too big for me to replay at the time. My favorit games now are Unity, Valhalla and 4 Blackflag.
So I bought a PS3 for my girls back in the day not long after its release. They hardly touched it mainly because there were very few games for girls to enjoy back then. They preferred playing with the Wii. Fast forward to 6 years ago (2018) when I retired. I decided to switch on the PS3 and have a go at it. Picked up some cheap games at GameStop as they were discontinuing PS3 game sales. In the mix of games was AC1. Wow! At that moment I fell in love with Assassin's Creed. I did not care much for shoot everything games as I found them boring. But AC gave me a mix of story, combat and puzzles and I enjoyed the challenge. Played AC2 then AC3, AC4 and Rogue. I did not buy a PS4 so I couldn't play Unity and Syndicate yet. When the PS5 came out I bought one as soon as I could get my hands on one. Started playing Origins, Odyssey, Valhalla and Mirage when it came out. Then I went back to Unity and Syndicate (after they fixed the PS5 graphics glitches). And now today I have restarted replaying every AC game in order. Finished Ezio Trilogy, AC3 and I am currently replaying AC4 Black Flag. I figure that by the time I am done with each game AC Shadows should be out.
Thanks! This video is really helpful because I've never played an Assassin's Creed game before, and I want to know which ones I should try and which ones I should avoid.
I must say AC1 is definitely worth playing. There's more to it than most people think. The combat and parkour are among the best in the series. The story and atmosphere, same. Before you play or replay, watch a few videos on the combat and parkour. DaBeanieBoi has a great one for combat, Ropotopolous too. There are loads on classic parkour.
Definitely not a beginner here. But the ideology present between assassins and templars is just such a hit. Great video man, its hard to put myself in the shoes of someone new but id say the video acheived its purpose. 👍
Feeling proud for being an assassins creed player since 2008
I played AC in the most random order LOL, started with AC2 then Black flag, then odyssey then ac1 etc.. then one day i decided to replay the whole series in chronolgical order and it all made much more sense. I think many people find the AC franchise overwhelming (especially newcomers) because there’s so much going on and alot of people just wanna dive straight into their favourite map or setting so i think this video is a great help.
I my self started it in a odd order. Starting with black flag, i played ezio trilogy in reverse and at end planning to play ac1.
@@aliakbar4510 Ezio trilogy in reverse? LMAO 💀 how were u understanding the story
I started with the RPGs in order then went back through them in order
I've loved assassin's creed since I was a little kid, I remember staring at the cover art for the first game since my parents wouldn't let me play it
I remember when there was a promotion that let you get the first game for free on xbox 360. My parents wouldn't let me, and it absolutely KILLED me.

I just started playing AC this year and I started with AC2 and just went chronologically, it was the best decision I've made
I became interested in Assassin's Creed back in 2017.
Personally, as a fellow history buff, I love the immersion the games bring.
Unlike most of the people, I started the series on the KaiOS version of Assassin's Creed Brotherhood and it's poster attracted me a lot, that game I played was a 2D game but when I searched for it's name I got to see a 3D game. That's how I got into the series.
AC3 is my favorite game of all time. I completed 8 times
🤌🤌
Sweet
I love that game so much that I had dreams bout it wen I was younger 😂
Currently I'm playing AC 3,but there's still a lot to cover 😂
Started playing in 2021
I started playing these games when i was a little kid at this time I got my arm broken and we were close to my birthday once everything was settled and i felt bad for my self my cousin bought me console and assassins creed syndicate the first time i palyed this game i was impressed i started going on youtube seeing people playing when i saw your channel i unferstood everything in this series an my favorite is ac unity thanks bro!
3 and origins are my favorite fr
I started playing the whole series this year ❤ I’m up to Syndicate right now, omg i love Syndicate there’s something about that game that doesn’t let me stop playing it!!!
Actually my father got me into the franchise. I remember that I couldn't sleep one night and watched him playing Black Flag
We out here every day. Love the Contant keep it up bro is the number one master assassin next to him Ezio.
I would recommend ac 2 if you are ready to commit but if your looking for a more lax experience i would recommend unity or black flag
i started with ac 2 and i am now trying ac rogue and loving it more and more the closer i get to the end, in all this is one of the best trologies of aal time in my opinion
I played assassin's Creed 1 right before Revelation came out. A friend of mine recommended the game. Caught up with everyone on Assassin's Creed III
The stealth and the settings and the story's are the ones that got me into it
thank you for the nice video, I started playing AC in 2023 and it's my favourite franchise since then. My friend just wanted to start with playing AC and I recommend him some games like origin or 2 and he now startet with origins. I personally startet with AC 1 and play them in the release order with the spin offs. Could you please make a video about all lore based media of ac covering books, games, films and all that , thank you.
Just started this franchise with AC 3 remastered, really glad i did
It started back when I was around 10 and played Brotherhood all the way to Syndicate in order.
I played my all time favourite in order and believe me it was the best time. After completing the series there is nothing like AC believe me ❤.
I got into Assassin's Creed via Assassin's Creed Origins when it was free on prime gaming back in mod 2022 and I'm still with the series today
A tip I had is to not rush it no matter how fast or easy pro players make it seem just taking time to look at guard roots and look at the layout can make a huge difference
I started with black flag this year and I absolutely loved it so now I’m playing Valhalla because the Vikings looked cool
I'm a newbie, starting with the original assassin's Creed and I must say so far it's a very interesting game
My brother and I got AC 1 as our first game in the franchise for the equivalent of $3 on a low end pc when we were little. It was so much fun.
What you said about where you should start is spot on for multiple reasons:
Unity does great job with good graphics and fun gameplay while having a lot of the assassins.
“Don’t pre order” yeah yeah, but for me I know I’ll love the game,
When i was young i used to watch my brother play 2 and brotherhood i loved that you can gobto a historical place
Anyway the first AC game that i played was revelation because my brother Didn't have a chance to play that and i knew enough about Ezio
And the second and third game i played was unity and syndicate
My recommendation would be:
1. Chronologically (by the time of period of the game - no need for Odyssey)
2. The way of when the games got out - no need for Odyssey
Only problem with the 1st one would be that it is hard to get back to the graphics and physics of AC 1 or 2 after Unity, Syndicate and rpg games.
Currently playing far cry series
And next on the list is assassin's creed. This should definitely help me.
Do not buy Valhalla. If u like old games play AC2 or brotherhood. If too old play Black flag or AC3. And if u like moddern game play origins.
well if you like vikings and rpg style valhalla is not a bad game.
for me, if you intend to play ac you gotta keep in mind the modern day story line, at least for the first 5 games.
It's crazy what graphics were considered amazing back then, by today's standards.
While many people start with ezio trilogy, i started my journey with ac3 and black flag and was intrigued with the kenway saga
those cinematic trailers for the first two games really got me hooked to the series im suprised they havent made a tv series for it since its another perfect medium
There are
Chronogical order
Release order (recommended)
And solo starts like Ac 1, Ac 4, Ac Unity, Ac Syndicate and the rpg trilogy and if you want even Ac Mirage
This was great i started with AC 2 and now im currently going through AC Brotherhood and ive been hooked for the past couple weeks
im no beginner but your content is so good do im still watching this
Started with origins, then played black flag, then played 2(lowkey paused it still haven’t continued it now), then I went on to unity
Your channel is so comforting
Just my 2 cents but I would probably give 3 different recommendations on what game to start with based on your preferences:
I would only recommend the first Assassin's Creed as the starting point if you meet a few criteria: a) You want to follow the full modern day story from the beginning and b) You are are willing to put up with the first game being the most dated out of the entire series.
I grew up with AC but didn't truly fall in love with it until I played the Ezio games in 2020
I started AC in such an odd way, AC3 - Unity - Mirage I want to play chronological after finishing up mirage and document my experience game to game
The reason I love assassin's creed is because of your videos which thank you so much for amazing videos
Bro we got the same profile😂
@@2xLian we do 😂 that would be amazing
Thanks! This video is really helpful because I've never played an Assassin's Creed game before, and I want to know which ones I should try and which ones I should avoid.
If you are talking about modern timeline, start with AC1 till the latest in order
I' started with black flag then origins and then oddesey
