Greifenburg 2023 Great flight but poor landing approach

- Fantastic flight over the high Austrian Alps, a blue day as no clouds about and inversion at 10,000 ft. I did one too many turns on my landing approach and got a bit low.

Whew! I felt myself tense up as you were about to cross over the power line. Nice landing, you squeaked it in but pulled it off. Great to see Weissensee, have spent some time there, also up at the Greifenburg launch, a wonderful part of the Alps. Super flight, thanks for sharing the "tour".
Yes it was close but I kept thinking I could turn straight into the landing field and then land on the wheels. I’ll make a better landing approach next year.

I've had dreams that were perfect if not for high tension lines. And after the wires a shack suddenly leaps into the way.

Bonito y limpio vuelo,ese lugar se ve estupendo.
That little hut seems to be a magnet (some people got hurt already). To me it looks like you could have cut the corner downwind to base and turned maybe before the hut. Anyway, great safe in the end.

I'm a pilot. this sounds nothing like the wind in your ears during flight. It's wind on the mic.
What make and model is that glider?
Supposedly this is an AIR ATOS VR plus (3 spoilers per side as one can see in the beginning) with a race keel. 14.5m wingspan, thus wondering how he actually missed the building 😊 Very nice impressions though.

That was way too close to the power lines. Maybe you could have gotten on the other side of them sooner. I treat power lines like a tree line. Nice video though!

This bird is even better flying than airplanes. The only thing what is bothers me is the pilot position. I dont like to be faces down.

Too close to those power lines. Don't take chances like that or it will get you. Repeating same mistake will add up to disaster. Great flight until the power lines.
What are power lines?
You nearly got yourself electrocuted, those high voltage wires would have cooked you quickly.
Not very good control with your decent.
More like dangerous.
