Yelling into and out of the caboose was weird. Did they use the clipboard on the end of a long pole with you? I let 'em do that just once, in front of 3 others waiting - and the next time I called a head and pre-purchased my med. nuggets over the phone.
Don't email. Just do it. Nice truck (& tractor). I have a F-250 of that same vintage. Grapple would make that job go faster. I'm looking at ordering a similar tractor & one piece of seemingly very wise advice from some vid (?) was to order every possible hydraulic option from new which in this case would include the front 3rd function. Do you have AG tires? I like the size of them but for some reason w/the other tire options (R3, R4, R14), Kubota puts the same size tire on the B2301 as the B2601's but w/the R1's the B2301 gets a smaller one which makes the machine significantly narrower.
Tip. I ran a lawn service for a few years. I took the blades had the cutting edge, and any place the blade would wear with hard surface. The blades lasted a lot longer. Most of my mowing was on lawns growing on sand.
Hey jason here in colorado I have a thing on my phone that is high lighted saying landscape and maintnence on properties is essential. You might check that out. But we have not been shut down here
They make a nice ballistic box for the back of your sub compact.... it works amazing on my kubota. Put bags of sand, rocks or anything heavy. So much safer

There was a lot of confusion in my area as well. I decided to send my crews out when people started to call and cancel service. We are taking serious safety precautions by taking everyone’s temp when they show up, everyone is required to wear gloves all day, face mask are used while in the truck and there is hand sanitizer in every truck. We are doing everything we can but at the same time I can’t default on loans and lose my customers. My employees also have bills to pay and families to feed and I feel it wouldn’t be responsible to shut everything down but at the same time create a safe working environment for my employees. I have also sent out an email to every customer that there will be no face to face communication with my employees and they will back away if approached. I wish you the best of luck with this crazy situation and be safe!

I’m on east side of state and we are all confused also. I would say about half the companies still out working at least part time. The work seems to fall under home maintenance but it also says “routine maintenance should not be done”. So I have been trying to do a light schedule for now.
Exactly...that's is what I'm telling my clients is we will have to do bi-weekly until further notice since we dont know what is going on. There are several guys in my area doing the same thing just trying to lay low

Third function valve and a grapple would make your life easier...I'm sure you would find many uses in your business for the grapple. R14 tires would help save the lawns while still producing excellent traction...trying not to turn the wheel unless the tractor is moving also helps. Good luck to you guy...be well.
Funny I have the same email from the State. Here is what is said: Thank you for your inquiry. Landscaping is allowed, but only to the extent necessary to prevent imminent damage or spoliation of hardscape or greenery. Routine maintenance is not permitted.
I shut down. I see lots of guys out though just be careful they set up a new site for reporting businesses. First violation is a warning second time they pull your license. If I were you I would just keep working. I am on the other side of the state and eyes are watching cause they have nothing better to do.

You need some ballast! Also, look into a Westendorf grapple, or an electrically actuated grapple if you want to save some cash.
Is the electrical one stronger than one powered by the hydraulics?
