      I have a gator head on my whip which is easy to load, no taking spool out to wind string, just insert string and turn head to length, now that edge pro looks low profile, i think my head will stick out to far. What type of head are you using on that whip?

      Ambrose I have an edgeit pro and love it.
      For a dedicated blade (for the heavy overgrown edges unit) what do you recommend?

    I manage a crew of 4-5 young guys each summer and one of the things I always have trouble getting them to understand is that when we spend so much time string trimming and edging all the sidewalks and curbs we have that when they don't blow out the edges it was all a colossal waste of time! Usually it finally clicks for them about half way through the summer and they finally understand how good it really looks after something is edged and then blown out properly. I started using the edgit pro after watching of your videos around 3 years ago and I've got them on all 5 of our string trimmers and it has seriously saved us a huge amount of time and effort. We love them!

    I used to work for another landscape company before I started my business.
    I remembered those times. I even did see that my old bosses equipment on his string trimmers had a lot of edgit pros.
    I never got to use it though but it did caught my eye. Matter of fact it does do a professional job with the edges on the beds and driveways sidewalks.
    Very interesting and professional well done Jason

    I bought one a few years ago but didn’t like the amount of debris it threw so haven’t used it much. I really thought that the big disc would act more like a shield. Will have to work on my technique.

    • @AmbrosLandscapingInc
      @AmbrosLandscapingInc  4 роки тому

      I originally bought it for that exact reason thinking it would act more like a shield but not at all 😂 lowering the RPM around rocks or loose debris helps as well as shorter string but ya the debris flinging is a major problem

    From one fellow Pacific Northwestern landscaper(I'm in Portland) to another, I love your videos my friend!
    Like you, I love the satisfaction of laying a nice crispy edg, but I've always set them with a stick edger. I've seen a bit of the Edge It Pro, and I guess I'm somewhat confused. Is it something that takes the place of a trimmer guard and you keep the line on there, or is it a spinning disc sorta like a stick edger?
    I'm curious to know more.
    Cheers and blessings to you man!
