Lambpage Jackson. Baaaa.
These pods with Rampage been fire lately.
Anywhere he goes, instant classic.
Yeah he seems mellowed out
him saying he doesnt love himself more than he loves his son was powerful.
That's a real father. As a father myself I feel the same way.
@@nickbeam5541 'as a humble man myself, i like to say im humble'

@@HN-bm7kf that’s your perception
@@HN-bm7kf Just because you're selfish doesn't mean other people are lol. Why would it be weird for a parent to love their children more than themselves?
That's a huge argument in MMA. I personally think those oblique kicks are dirty but, you'll have plenty of MMA fans that think otherwise.
Gotta stay tf away from the. Stops people from just walking you down. I'd drop kick the knee
If you're going to try and give someone brain damage, better be willing to risk your knees. And they haven't ended any careers.
Not the same in Dominick reyes fight those strikes didnt hit the same. That kick hit different because that kick was literally on roids.
@@Jfscloud723 his whole body on roids bro. That makes the oblique even worse for his opp.
Tbh, I firmly believe anyone who supports Jon eye poking and oblique kicking because “it’s real fighting bro, other fighters just can’t handle it” has no concern for any fighter or their families at all. You can have great fights without eye pokes or oblique kicks, and those will come at much less risk to the loser being unable to feed his family again
Great interview as always!
“But for me I don’t love my self as much as I love my son so it’s just different “ that’s mad relatable fr big up rampage Jackson one of the best to ever to do it
Yup!)
Thats why having kids is such a transformative experience for so many people. +Breeders.
Jon said on video "If someone is trying to give us brain damage, I think it's an even trade off to give then a little limp for the rest of their life" Jon Jones, Winklejohn oblique kick techniques
for real, its fighting. those knee kicks are legal. until they arent there is not even an argument. Eye pokes and grabbing gloves is another story.
@@JackhammerPossessor maiming
@@JackhammerPossessor but you do realize those moves affect not only the careers but lifestyles of these fighters on the receiving end I bet Jon’s opinion would change if he ever hyperextends his knee
@@JackhammerPossessor you sound like you already got early brain damage bro.
@@JackhammerPossessor sure but then you see guys like Joe Rogan say that Jones’ loss to Hamill should be overturned. Not to mention Hamill is deaf. How are you going to use illegal moves against a deaf guy?
I mean... We're talking about a guy who kicks guys right above their kneecap or "accidentally" dislocates shoulders in the clinch.
Don't think anyone would say that's clean.
EDIT: Oh and the eye pokes!
Jon Jones' blood isn't even clean, of course he's gonna cheat.
No he does the shoulder and oblique kicks on purpose. He has never said otherwise. Neither are illegal
@@ep3578 not illegal but DIRTY. There has to be sportsmanship. Leave that krav maga shit for the street where your life could be in danger, not the cage.
Yeah he absolutely admits he's dirty and he wants to destroy his opponents career if possible. That was normal 20 years ago, Frank Mir was even worse than Jones. Shinya Aoki too. That is the essence of the art of war. Leave no survivors so they don't come back to haunt you.
As dangerous as it is, those knee kicks are legal. Should they be illegal? Most definitely. But until they make it illegal which they most likely will eventually it’s a smart tactic
Imagine if everyone that got eye poked by john jones didnt try to continue (and in most cases almost instantly lose). How many losses would he have due to that? not being able to continue due to an eye poke is alot of the times a DQ. People that get away with playing loose with these rules get away with them because the other fighters try to tough it out. great for cheaters, and MMA highlights when they get headkicked after an eye poke. Horrible for the fighters getting poked in the eyes.
Yeah unfortunately most fighters are kind of dumb.
It would be quitting and therefore Jones would win.
@@todofitnesssss do u understand the rules? If someone can’t continue because of an illegal move, the injured person wins by DQ. That’s how Jones lost his only lost fight - illegal elbow, DQ.
"Rampage with the steel chair! Baw God, he killed him!" - Jim Ross
😂
I never liked that kick either. Atleast with kneebars you can tap before you get injured. With the kick though you don't get that chance. Unless you had knee problems before, you wouldn't know how horrific it is having one. I got tendonitis in both knees from running, and I couldn't walk right for like half a year until it finally calmed down and healed. The pain was so bad I couldn't bend my legs to put socks on. Injuries that you don't want are back and knee problems. I had a bad herniated disc that I had surgery on and still have nerve damage from it because the hospital didn't consider it an emergency surgery. While I was waiting for months for the sugery, I could feel the nerves in my legs dying. Now you could stab me in the foot and I'd feel nothing. Luckily I can walk normal but still in pain everyday.
What about getting hit in the head. Then falls without trying to catch yourself, then someone hitting your head with full force 3 to 4 times.
@@kylenewsome8439 there's never been one person with a brain injury while in the UFC. They're usually good at stopping a fight before that happens.

That one clip where he points out where those spinning elbows were hitting people, I've been saying that shit for years and people just don't care lol. Like slo-mo sportscenter highlight videos, for a decade, of guys getting elbowed right in that soft spot on the back of their head but hey it looked cool and Bones did it!
Every time Jones fights, he does it with malicious intent. Look at the jumping cross kick he threw (and missed) against Anthony Smith. Or that arm crank that he pulled on Glover Texeira. All that said, it’s not illegal according to the rules.
if you going inside the cage and doesn’t want to hurt somebody, you shouldn’t be fighting because your opponent is ready to put your lights out or break a limp if he had to in order to get that gold
Yeah this isn't golf don't talk about things you will never experience
Fighters always complaij about the oblique kick. Its legal. Do it back to him
There are the rules. Then there are the, "rules".
If the reff does not call something. They treat it like it didn't happen.
So some people will cheat until the reff calls it out.
fr mma fans should be more lenient when it comes to judges or refs fucking it up.

Good way of saying. Morality transcends Legality
Jones loves the eye poke
If Jon was a WWE wrestler his finishing move would be the jumping-spinning-double-eye-poke
I’m surprised no one that was a victim of the eye pokes was like, “you know what, I’m gonna just poke at his eye until the ref disqualifies me”. Because that eye poking stuff is not cool.
Part of it is probably that Jones has the longest reach in the UFC.
@@Tippet76 oh I know that, but I mean these are all high level fighters. You are acting like the reach gives him such an advantage that he never gets hit. I would be deliberate. I would scratch as well. In fact, I would do every illegal thing in the book. Because an eye poke can end a career. That’s not cool. And the guy admitted to doing it. He should be banned just for that… I understand fighting dirty but this goes to a level of having no morals.
@@Chesstastic5000 I know right! Joe Rohan would make excuses for his ass too! “Oh he’s testing out the reach of his opponent.”
@@Chesstastic5000 To be honest, a fighter gets poked in the eye at every single UFC event, so its a little bit unfair to single out jon because its so common across the board. It definitely is not cool though.
@@JackhammerPossessor Hmmm, accidental pokes happen. This is true. But. Idk. Jones is different. He is notorious for doing them. A lot of eye pokes are by accident. But he just happens to do it over and over and over.....

He is fighting the best of the best, all monsters. He can't just take them down when he wants, he sure tries on every fight but it's not easy. He doesn't get the luck Khabib gets that he is fighting guys who are that good. It's not the same.
That's one thing I've always never really understood about UFC and such.. Why that knee kick is even allowed..
I agree I understand it’s a combat sport but dam it’s rough enough with knees and elbow!!!!
Not many people do it and the initial rule set was just to be able to bypass laws forbidding UFC to operate.
Could it be that they don't care about the longevity of their fighters?
There’s many moves that should be illegal but people get creative and do new things.
I think they deleted it but there was a video on youtube where jon fully admits to eye pokes and actually kinda brags about it, shit was crazy 😂

Remind me to never piss off Rampage Jackson.
Never knew you were supposed to fight clean when trying to defeat someone in a fight. Refs are there for a reason. So they should be held accountable as well
You western mindsets are all like this, huh?
Cheating in a match is ok as long as you don't get caught. And you call yourself "Greatest of all time"?? Pity...
That is why Rampage even admits that not everyone is going to fight the same way he does.
Refs can't stop permanent damage after it is done you fuckin idiot
If rampage took the same “supplements” Jones took, I wonder who would win…
there should be a detailed evaluation of techniques by athletic commisions every couple of years. Instead they still keep petty stuff like 12-6 elbows. MMA is still in middle ages.
People just need to watch Jon Jones first fight and it explains his whole career, he won the fight but took a lot damage and shots to the face, once i saw that fight, the eye pokes, the oblique kicks, and dirty tactics are simple means of survival for him, he doesnt care to do it because at the end of the day the quickest way to end a fight is to hinder their movements or Ko, i would do the same in a fight whatever i can do to create an advantage for myself i will, its simple it called survival 😉
Except he’s not fighting to survive, he’s fighting to win. The fights have rules and outside those rules it has the unspoken ones part of sportsmanship. Jon does whatever he thinks he can get away with, and that doesn’t make him cool or the bad boy of MMA. It makes him an asshole who is purposely putting his opponents at risk bc he can’t hang as well if he’s trying to fight clean.
its a professional sport not a street fight moron
Roids is how u always get the upper hand

Lambo knee pain... Can't make this shit up. Rampage is an anecdote machine.
Yep. He probably is the dirtiest, sneakiest, cheatingest fighter in the sport. I think the one thing that terrifies him most is a fair fight. I doubt he's ever entered into a fight without some "advantage". I don't know of any other fighter that was diqualified for 12-6 elbows. Maybe some day somone will ruin his career.
You Diccrider what are you even talking about I understand that the technique is dirty and there are fighters now that use it you don’t consider dirty but outside of the eye pokes what else is cheating and how is it unfair or an advantage if the other fighter can do it too you dumbass and he’s been in fights where he was evenly matched size wise and where he didn’t have the experience advantage or the power advantage or the wrestling advantage yet he continued to win outside of the Reyes fight which I think he lost
12-6 elbow has been scientifically proven to be no stronger, more effective, or dangerous than any other angle of shot from a similar position. Boring argument. At least use something that is actually “dirty” and that’s the eye pokes.
@@LeominsterFC Rogan said the people who made the rules saw a video of a guy breaking bricks or something with them and said the elbows were too powerful even though the video has been proved fake
Ive been saying this and I totally agree! N when he takes you down he doesnt elbow you in the jaw he elbows you in the head by the eye which could kill somebody. Hes a really dirty fighter and for some reason the ufc allows this stuff
I'm thinking Jones is actually related to somebody important. Like he's secretly royalty or something. I don't really believe the life stories they tell us about a lot of athletes.
@@teacherdoug4438 yeah thats funny cause when i was writing this in my head i was saying they probably only allow him doing that because he was the big thing at the time and his fights where bringing in the big bucks. But it would be crazy if something your saying was to come true lol… but im from the bay area and i actually know some fighters in the ufc. I was friends with andre ward in high school together. So i do actually know alot of popular fighters and they are just normal people that actually either grew up with me or work some regular bs job with me when i was younger.
The dirty tricks + the PEDs make Bones uneligible for GOAT.

"i dont love myself , as much as i love my son ... so i dont know "
i love Rampage.
100% and not a single official called it
Almost half the fights I see someone gets poked in the eye. That's not up to the fighter. I don't see it happening intentionally. Its up to the ref to regulate or penalize that.
Watch a compilation video of Jones eye pokes. It's pretty ridiculous.
@@teacherdoug4438 Comes with the territory. If UFC started using curved gloves like bellator it would happen less. I have not seen a full fight card yet that didn't have at least one eye poke.
Jones imo looks at fighting from an athletes perspective than from a fighters
Oblique kicks part of the game. If it’s so effective why doesn’t anyone else do it as much?
Obviously all the steroids, eye pokes, glove grabbing is against the rules, the only debatable one is the oblique kick, I think it's dirty for the same reason other techniques are considered "dirty". Like nuts shots, eye pokes, small joint manipulation, strikes to the spine, the oblique kick is a technique that can do long term damage without much skill or effort and that is the sole reason it is used, because it's easy and can cause serious injury that can end a fight or even a career.
Jones even laughed talking about DC. He said he claims I’m gonna try to eye poke him because I do eye poke people
The kick to the knee won't be banned because the heads of the UFC and anybody else that says otherwise haven't never gotten kicked in the knee like that cause if they did they wouldn't be taking like "that's such a beautiful technique".
i realy love Jone Jones but rampage is right those knee kicks must be baned.

Knee/oblique kicks are just as dangerous as a submission on the limb or knockout. So I disagree there. Eye pokes? Another story.
People who say Jones is the goat because he's undefeated are casuals, and need to familiarize themselves with the history of the sport. And how many times has he defended the titles he's won?
Alot. He's defended alot also he has more title fight wins in a row than anderson silva.

He beat so many former champions. I think if Jon wins the belt and beats stipe for a successful title defense there isn't a argument anymore. I love gsp but jones will definitely be the goat.
He got three gifted decisions and eye poked in every single fight. Without all that he wouldn't be anywhere near the goat conversation.

You lock any man or anything into a cage, then complain about combat “within combat rules”, should be banned/outlawed; I can see your hindsight logic.
An elbow to head is allowed but a knee kick shouldn't? That's some sage stuff

The interviewer gave the best point! Why is Jonsy fighting a title fight instantly after bout 3 yrs off and a career full of failed testing? UFC is pure fraudism and idk if they pay or sue Ex UFCs but if I was Rampage I just ld have said Jones wins cuz he s a cheater and UFC relates on fraudism. All the close up fights like Gus and DC1 were bad judgings. Still nobody cant tell me how he won DC1 cuz he was outstriked 3 rounds, did an eyepoke and only had a couple TD in rd 4 while DC had the same amount with more strikings and work. For DC 2 he got caught on PEDs and its a NC thats why they notoriously hang on his so 'unfair' DQ. Now he s getting a title shot after these 3yrs just when Ngannou quit cuz of politics and Gane was the 2nd in vacant champion not really the champion, DC stopped and Stipe lost to the gone champ AND Suddenly Jones is ready after all the years 😁 Jones wasnt the LHW titleholder anymore so his jump to HW title is just BS and UFC is just like theater.
Those knee kicks are bs!
