First pact pulls of box sets I got;
Armed Thunder dragon level 10, in it's rarest form. (171$ ungraded)
Starving venom plague dragon, in it's rarest form. (85$ ungraded)
Unfortunately, the second one, ended up in a show, and bent. Still have the first though, sleeved up and mint condition. I need to get it PSA graded.
Hes got the 1of 1 one ring in elfish that he paid 2.5 mill for the one he pulled is in english and gling for about 40 to 45 or so@jason300c1

There is the normal one ring which is like a 90$ card
And there is a one of a kind copy in the black speech of mordor, which goes for 2 million dollars

There was only one “one ring” so sadly, it’s a fake card used for staging this. But not really staying it’s meant to be a bit

We all feared that this would be how the 1 of 1 one ring would be opened.
Im not even a card collector, much less a magic fan, but the way he opened this pack really hurt my soul, and even more when he was like "oh it a one ring"
@NobodyAwsum It's the fact that he doesn't know how rare the one ring is. He's like, "Oh cool, a one ring." And then it ends up in the trash.
At my LGS, someone bought 5 packs to try get a One Ring and didn't get any. The next person bought a single pack and got one.

1st edition blue eyes can sell for 500$ easy. The one ring pulled here is a 50$ card. (Still worth a pretty penny) should be compared to something like a secret rare Heart of the blue eyes.
Post malones one ring was purchased for over 2 million $. And shouldn’t be compared to other tcg singles.

I did this with a friend last week. I’d never opened magic cards and he never opened yugioh. He bought me two packs of the LOTR cards and I got him three packs of INFO. He pulled a mulcharmy and I’m like oh that’s crazy. Start opening packs and I’m like “hey here’s a one ring. Seems like it’s ok” knowing nothing about magic. The way he reacted was amazing

Instead of direct tie ins, ygo just has references and obvious inspiration. Kozmo is star wars/wizard of oz, ashened is Dark souls, burning abyss is the Divine Comedy, kaiju is godzilla, noble knights are Arthurian legend, stromberg is Cinderella. Etc etc.
Bud, Kaiju is just... Kaijus. There are Kaijus unrelated to good ol Gojira. Like, Gamaciel is based on Gamera, who is a Kaiju from a rival company to the one that owns and created Godzilla.

My best pulls have come from the lord of the rings packs. Done 3 set booster boxes, of that I pulled a foil “the one ring” and 1 regular, 2 full art orcish bowmasters and 1 regular. Love the box

The lord of the ring pack thing happened to me, back when it first came out I bought 3 draft packs from Walmart ( not knowing the prices of the cards in the set) and in my second pack I pulled a one ring and was like oh cool whatever but later when I looked up the price I was shocked and this was back when it was $60
