"...but I think you're gonna have to rewind a few times." *6.5 feet* "...at about 6.5 meters which is about 3.2 miles." *rewinding intensifies*

The Reverb into Delay was used a lot by Jimmy Page on many of his Guitar solos, works great on vocals, definitely want to give this technique a go. Thank you Dave.

That's so cool! Definitely sounds wayyyyy better than if a plug in were to be replicating a delay or verb because this way more organic and is done naturally

I'm not familiar with Pro Tools, but if I'm not mistaken; the second send is creating your feedback loop which is a delay that also has the reverb of the room. The delay is probably dependent upon your latency. The third send is a parallel effects channel to the second send, so it will not color your original sound and it won't completely color your delay/reverb sound, but according to how much of that third send you feed, you'll get anywhere from 0-50 percent of the effect on your delay/reverb feedback loop.
The main things to note with this setup would be that there's no delay between the second and third and that's why they call it parallel. So any time you see parallel compression or any other effect being mentioned it's this sort of concept where you can balance how much of that effect comes through, but still maintain the characteristics of the original sound.

Not to offend any Pro Tools geeks, but, Studio One has the pipeline plugin and extended fx chains which makes reverb chambers much easier and flexible.

Could the same more or less be achieved itb by making an impulse response of the room. Combining with a good mic emulator like Slate VMS, theoretically it could enable you to be more flexibel in terms of choosing the right room for your sound.

Fucking gorgeous sound Dave. A simpler way of explanation might be to record your room a few times with the same original signal. That is how I hear what you're saying.
Oh, but wait, Then Dave comes in the room and says, "Press this magic button."
Crap man, I can't reproduce it.

    Sounds very good.
Too bad I don't have a room that's usable for this.

How is the Output from the "To Speaker" Track going to the Input of the "From Mic" track actually picking up the mics that's in the room? Doesn't make since. The From Mic track should have independent mic inputs, because it's an independent source.

RIP people who didn't have their finger hovering over the "mute feedback" button and had their speakers cranked up all the way (with no feedback surpression VST or EQ yet) when trying this
