Geez I can't believe it, just started a new game, first sector I find a derelict Oddessy right next to an Agressor.
So my 3rd ship is a crazy high tech battle cruiser I never even used before. But now it's quickly growing on me, and I'm actually getting ok at flying it. 3 D-mods and about a dozen mining lasers would make any tri-tach admiral cringe, but it can run faster than a pirate falcon and it wrecks everything with dual plasma cannon. It's really fun because you have to orbit the enemy with your left flank facing them, the right side just spams missles and fighters.
I agree whole hearted about the state of the gaming industry currently!! Its all money grabs then you get the few gems like Starsector everyone once and a while!
Yea, but it’s important to understand the business mindset
Starsector is a great game, they devs probably make good money off it, but not really… a lot, the choice to monetize and make in app purchases and stuff in games is a choice between making money, and making a lot of money.
The only downside to this business practice is face, as in, how people see them, it being an industry people don’t care what you think of them, money always wins

shepereds would've been a good addition to your fleet, giving buffs to after fight loot and decent cargo space for their tiny size.
and since you overload your cargo space on a regular basis .. for seriously decent space whilst not being too big, a colossus or two or three. They are fast, somewhat efficient and have good cargo space.
Laser Boy looks like a fist. You could say it was finger banging enemy ships.

Is there a way to get more points to spend on your ship? So you can get more mods,good weapons,and the vents/flux to use said weapons.Say for example an iradicator with 3 chainguns.I don't think there is and there should be enough perhaps an officer skill that gives the ship that officer is piloting more points?The higher level the skill the more points you get.Or it has multiple in the skill tree that stack so you can get multiple bonuses.
1:33:11 State of Decay 2 is really fun Rarr. And it has high replayability, just don't muck about with the DLC stuff, it's super unbalanced.

I'm pretty sure the ghost ships that you talk about at 1:51:41 are because you have one or more ships with the sensor D-Mod (the ones that are always a set distance from you) i don't know about the others
