K pallbearer are obviously amazing, but hats off to the sound guy too. The sound is incredible
Being a sound guy, I agree. Except the snare sound isn't quite my taste.
That’s St. Vitus, Boss! Never heard a shitty mix at any show
I’ve been to, or seen on here!
@@DoomsdayIsComing73 was gonna say, St. Vitus does not miss when it comes to sound quality
The live sound is amazing, it is not easy to capture DooM sound and atmospheres live
Amen! The mix is on point!
My favorite band. These guys are just fucking ridiculous. The lyrics, the riffs, the progressions. Crazy.
Everything they do is gold
Masterclass.
00:02 Watcher in the Dark
10:42 Dropout
16:36 Thorns
22:26 Dancing in Madness

Thank you for this gem!!! If I could ask for the next band, my choice would be Elder.
'nuff said!

Thanks!!
Thorns!
What a hero.
This band is awesome, those riffs, this voice, omg !
The recording/mix on this is excellent.
Awesome.."Dancing in madness"' is like listening to heavy metal version of Pink Floyd
Wow... Brett has seriously improved his live vocals, I'm seriously stunned, especially during Dropout I was shocked as to how close he sounded to studio vocals.
I think some venues just don't play nice with the reverb on his vocals. They nailed it here.
How about that part toward the end of Dancing in Madness where he goes off? Super impressed that he's able to nail that.
Been sleeping on this band for way too long. Started listening a few weeks ago and can honestly say these guys are one of my favorite bands atm. Also, dudes vocals are fantastic live. Great set. Would love to catch them live one day.
Man im 3 years later than you. This is probably my favourite modern band
I love the harmony of this band
Ever since I discovered them, they have become one of my favorite bands. Man I wish I was there
Same here man! Each album is a classic too. They'll always be one of my favorites now.
Ditto, and I am so glad that they have captured the album sound live. Have yet to see them on tour yet but I hope to take care of that on their next one.
with first notes
Joe is so damn fun to watch. Dude's so animated.
One of heavy rotation bands lately - soo nuanced for sludge and doom metal. Love em.
Glad to see Brett's improved vocals. Saw them in Budapest and the performance was amazing!
I think some venues just don't play nice with the reverb on his vocals. They nailed it here.
I don’t think they were able to afford in ear monitors for a while until they got more popular.
Honestly don't know what the hell I'd be listening to now if it weren't for this incredible, INCREDIBLE group of talented gentlemen. Hands down one of the absolute best bands in metal history and if you disagree...well then idk what the fuck you're doing here in the first place 🤘🍻
I agree such a fantastic band.
Man!! Well played again Kerrang. Pallbearer bringing the fire, awesome set.
I discovered this band yesterday and I can say only one ....Wooow
Best Sound i've ever heard. It's soul healing...Thank you so much.
Brings tears to my eyes
saw them with obituary, skeletonwitch, and dustbolt two years ago.
fantastic band. unforgettable show. thanks for sharing this live set.
I saw them at that show in Dallas. It was truly incredible!
This is the first live recording of these guys I've ever heard - and I absolutely love it. Superb in every aspect!!! It would be extremely interesting to hear Eric Wagner from Trouble on vocals on a couple of tracks. Thanks for this upload - awesome stuff!!!
Which album is that, because The SKULL is one of my favorite bands
You guys definitely put off the feeling of impending DOOM I saw you guys recently with System of a Down. Your songs are being played on a constant loop in hell (Doom Metallers) that’s for sure.
Man to play guitar and sing like that just freakin blows my mind ! This band is unreal !
Quick! Hide Me! I'm trying to escape all the new Metallica song reaction videos.......ICKY
This is glorious
Thank you guys .
literally the GOAT
i've seen pallbearer 6 times and every single time it has been better than the last. these guys are truly something special.
That's the true mark of musicianship and artists growth.
Are you from Arkansas? I wish i could catch them live...only in the northwest now(California,Washington, and Oregon)
@@mindofmatter071 6 times has been PNW only!! Lol
I missed a chance to see these dudes in SF and I'll never forgive myself for it. God damn these guys are good
I’ve loved this band since Sorrow. However I never watched them live. Even on UA-cam. Did I just become even bigger fan? Yes. Wow.
My favourite metal band.
Give anything to see you Guys live!!!!!!! Please come to California
Badass
TY
Why am I just learning of these guys? Wow that was awesome!
This band from Arkansas keeps getting better, and they're still young.
I've seen 'em twice now and between these guys and Matty Pike's bands DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM will survive!!!!!!!!!!!

It wasn't until a few years ago when I saw these guys live that I noticed one guitarist plays 6 strings while the other plays 7, which blew my mind, for some reason. Is this more common than I think or is it pretty unique to Pallbearer?
Some bands do it in different ways. Archspire's guitarists play a 7 string and an 8 string respectively.
Tbh both of the guys here are in a variation of Drop A. The only difference is Joe is missing a high e string and the major 3rd interval between strings is in a different place (since the 6 string is in AEADf#b and the 7 is AEADGbe)
Crowbar guitarists did this too
Morbid angel does or did this too for a while.
Puta que pariu mil vezes!!!!
I love this band.
heavily into pallbearer at the moment killer
I'd love to hear this live! It totally reminds me of Solitude Aeturnus with the vocal and doom style. Excellent set!
😎
👕 🤘
👖
👟
danggg what guitar is brett playing?!
This band is freaking amazing
thanks for this
Are the members of Pallbearer all wizards?
bjjbrawler1 most definitely
They keep getting better! Wow
"I'm going to the darklands..." Joe's t-shirt 💜
Sonido increible, pesado, melancólico, unas voces hermosas, ya venia escuchando algo de pallbearer, pero con este recital me han ganado!!
maybe this sounds strange, but... I really feel frusciante influences in the flying V's dude voice melodies and guitar playing
Thats great comparison
Transcendent
Pallbearer - Foreigner never fail to give me a hard headbang
idk if they did this or not. But this should definitely be made into a live album.
excellent!
What a great show. The new album is going to be amazing judging from the first two singles.
WOW!
One single down vote. What a clown
when I test a sound system, I play worlds apart.
I saw them last month in Prague with Irist and Elder, absolutely killer show.
Arkansas repreSENT!
Pallbearer, is one a handful of Doom bands I respect and enjoy! Well done, boys!!🤘🤘
Side note, I am digging the resurgence of players using Ludwig drums and Frankenstein cymbal setups. It’s like OK to not play all matching cymbals, sponsorships not withstanding! I respect players who go for sound combinations, and don’t care about aesthetics. Music is about feel and passion, NOT looking pretty! NOTHING beats the sheer intense thunder of Ludwig Classic Maple and a well-tuned Remo Black Dot. Too much for the studio, but fuck it. Get a better producer, or mics!! 😜
ENORME
the kings of epic!
What does his shirt say? The singers
Jesus fucking christ youtube !!! TWO commercial breaks and the first song isn't even over yet !!! When is the great migration ever happening ? I will be on the first.
What’s the name of the closing song for this set. I can’t remember it.
Given to the Grave
Killer band.Seen them twice in the U.K. and once this Covid-19 shit is done I hope to see them again.Mesmerising performance both times.
They are touring Europe in 2022, together with Elder.
@@eqqaia3856 Yep, tickets on sale today.
I've heard of these guys for a handful of years. Just finally sought out their music..........and they are BADASS!
Absolutely stunning performance this band has helped me through this whole pandemic bollocks, thanks I'll always remember.
Mixing is so good! Great set.
fock yes! i need to see these guys again soon, work has not permitted the last several.
it was an absolute thrill opening for such a good band, years back in the pike room.
Progressive Doom, Heavy -Prog. Call it what you want! Pallbearer is an awesome band! That`s a fact!
Damn this performance of Worlds Apart is fucking amazing!!!! Wow.
Was at that show. Pallbearer crushed it and the sound guy slayed it 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
@WillPutney true or false-these drums sound clearer than any studio record they ever released?
why are first row people headbanging so quietly on the closing riff of the foreigner?
Favorite
Thank you to whoever made this video seeing them was one of the best nights of my life and this is like reliving it
Seger spotting
Great band! Very powerful yet pleasant sound to the ears. Nice subtle melodies too.
holy fuck foreigner/given to grave to finish off...I like it
the best band🔥
Drums sound better here then on 2020 album. That snare is Albini levels!
fuck yeah!
The best band it's cfukin'g harmonic
No The Legend, no I Saw The End :'(
Whoa
Jedna z mála kapiel, ktoré znejú live lepšie ako na oficiálnych nahravkach.
i don't care if Brett use reverb or not, it sounds amazing!!
shades of Cliff Burton in that bassist. love his intro on Given to the Grave!
This band is what metal should be a bout, lead guitar Solos and plenty of noise! Not that shitty new metal crap!
my apologies, Given to the Grave!
Am I the only one who watches this like once a month?
They are younger than I imagined lo
These guys are so fucking underrated!
Cool. Props from Portland, Maine!
Its peaceville meets warning. Perfect!
🙌 so much to love about this band
Sounds so fucking awesome
fav band forever ftw
All hail Pallbearer!!!!!
