Yeah, as an old timer who read my sisters "Archie" comic books in the '60s I recognized "Jughead" immediately! That haircut is tough to get past. If he wants to be a UA-cam star he NEEDS to look like a serious professional, not a Jughead!
OMG! Thanks for the info!! The criminals already know this and now I do too!!!!!! One more thing I can do to protect myself; and tell others I care about! You can never go wrong with a good door, a good lock and always locking your doors. It's just proactive and smart!! I also know its not going to stop a determined criminal but its a step in the right direction in fortifying your home as you can afford. Great Video!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The CHEAP way to protect your lock is to ask a locksmith to incorporate one "10" or "11" depth cut on your key (usually on the 5th cut(the tip of the key - the last cut) the deep cut is on the tip of the key as other-way it can weaken the key - That way if anybody inserts a bump key - that is usually cut to "9" depth it will push that last pin above the shear line and the cylinder will not turn. You can also use some special heavy oil that drastically slows up the speed of the pins bouncing UP - but but but if something goes wrong you could end up locked out - in that case spray some brake cleaners or any solvent in the lock and try to wash it out. Good Luck
Hey, Dr Punit from India. Your trick worked with my lock. Actually the original key was stucked in the lock. I tried for 1 hour but I failed and finally, with your technique, I removed the key from the lock. Thank you.
I spent my money on the clapco D-29. It’s the most impenetrable lock on the market today. It has only one known design flaw-the door.... MUST BE CLOSED!!!!

Billy Green It's good to let people know how easy it is to break in their house. I helped a pregnant lady with two kids get in her house by removing a cracked window pane. She locked herself out, and wanted me to kick in the door. I was in her house in less than 5 minutes. I gave her the dimensions of the broken pane, so her husband could install the splines. Locks are for honest people.
Thank you exactly what I needed to know, I added a key door lock (in the knob) to a room to keep a tenant out and they openned it. I had a lock guy look at it and he agreed with the door stop not broken they did not use a card, they picked the lock. I see how they did it now, will deal with it.

bon vivant ZING! Hear THAT, video-from-last-decade? You thought you were all cool, touring with your bizarre magic stage show in 2007, but bon vivant just put you in your PLACE!
Did you go back in time to grab these responses? I liked the video, because I can see how a modern day slime ball makes money off showing others how to rip honest people off.
***** That's what I was thinking, just came down to comments to see if anyone else had mentioned it. I suppose it's easy to understand why, this kind of information is obviously easily abused. And Locksmiths generally speaking, aren't too fond of sharing their secrets for that very reason I guess. I think in this country it's illegal to even own lockpicks unless you're a licensed locksmith.
Shineymcshine79 I was thinking he didn't really want to be talking to the fella with the weird haircut. If he wasn't comfortable giving the information he would have just said no to the video. I think he was happy to share info, but just wasn't expecting some over enthusiastic guy with a weird haircut haha
Shineymcshine79 Is it illegal to own a sledgehammer, crowbar, drill, or a strong foot in Aus? Because those can just as easily get you into most places.
ive been a locksmith for 29 years, this method will only work, if the key cuts are close in depth, if the lock has radical cuts they will never bump...
That's fantastic better to know how you can pick your own lock just in case you ever get locked out or lose a key but the new locks are really great is there an updated video of this stuff? Thank you for this information its really wonderful.
We've said it for years: Locks are only to keep the honest people out. A thief is going to find his way in via lock or window pane. It's WHO notices and what they do about it that will deter a thief. A barking dog, good start. An alarm that wakes everyone in several hundred yards is better. A trained homeowner with a firearm - a punk's nightmare.
Except most burglars aren't going to break into your home while you're there. Hope that precious gun is locked up tight so it doesn't join the hundreds stolen and used by criminals.
Believe it or not, the barking dog is better than an alarm (nobody has been bitten by a alarm), or the gun (someone needs to be there & willing to pull the trigger).
Great Locksmith you chose, he looks top-notch and seemed really excited about being in this video. Bet it took him ALL morning just to try to decide what to wear..
Thank you so much for your video, good sir. I've been broken into constantly for over a year now by an extremely clever nasty f--kin' so-and-so. The police Dept, whom my deceased hubby worked for for almost all his adult life, just blew me off. It's a long story, but I must now take matters into my own hands and bitch-proofing is part of this plan. I'm now a HUGE fan of yours, and look forward to watching the rest of your videos and passing them on. Many blessings to you.grannyannie😊
> watches a very informative video and comes away with newfound kernels of understanding > checks the comments and sees a bunch of tools talking about the host's hair *and nothing else* > double-facepalms
Hipstoprockathon Look. He's teaching us how to defeat locks, and that knowledge can be pretty useful in a variety of ways (legal or otherwise). He could be wearing _a purple Bodyglove_ and sporting a _reverse mohawk_ , and I *still* wouldn't care: One, because I'm focused on the lesson. Two, because I stand firmly against all the useless fashionista dickweeds who think that they have some Zeus-powered right to dictate how everyone else should dress and act, and I look forward to the day when they all drown in their own hubris. And three, because I'm not a shallow, judgemental prick (unlike *some* people here), and if that's how our man here wants to harmlessly express his individuality, then I'm all for it. It's all part of that enlightened thinking that some of us are striving towards. Maybe you've heard of it. And to think that *you're* calling *me* retarded....
capnjackjack1 We can't help it. We used to use asterisks for emoting on UA-cam, then UA-cam added text formatting as part of the Google+ integration. So now the asterisks turn the emote text between them into Bold Text. So what choice do we have?
You still learnt it in seconds right? The whole video wasn't about bumping and the pressure to apply on the key twist. That part took seconds, not minutes.

bon vivant ZING! Hear THAT, video-from-last-decade? You thought you were all cool, touring with your bizarre magic stage show in 2007, but bon vivant just put you in your PLACE!
That hait was never in style, much like the word "zing" lol
bon vivant Hear that, "hait"? DOUBLE SERVED!
Scam School U mad?
Did you go back in time to grab these responses?
I liked the video, because I can see how a modern day slime ball makes money off showing others how to rip honest people off.
This guy has the world record for most locks picked at the same time with just using his hair.
The guy explaining things to you seemed kinda reluctant with the information.
+Shineymcshine79 which country? it's legal almost everywhere in the US
Australia
Shineymcshine79 Is it illegal to own a sledgehammer, crowbar, drill, or a strong foot in Aus? Because those can just as easily get you into most places.
you could just use this dude's hair to pick a lock
zing!
you still alive?
macgahann
This guy looks like 2001 was freeze framed onto him.
Chelsea Dewey Take THAT, video from a decade ago! You just got SERVED.
Scam School lol love the responses ... 4.5 years*
one of the doors had a primus sticker on it.. explains everything.
Dude sold his soul for this channel. The price? Permanent 90s hair.
😂.
It’s so weird watching modern rogue and then looking back at this with Brian brushwood as Bart Simpson
The host looks like he stepped fresh out of 1996 from the 11th grade
Jason Windsor zing! Take THAT, half-decade old video!
Hahaha nice
He said 1996 not 2010, the age of the video doesn't matter that much it's only 4 years compared to 18 years ago.
"I dare you to make UA-cam videos with the dumbest hair style ever"
"Hold my beer"
Lmfaooooooo
10 years, seems nostalgic but I haven’t seen this before.
0:18 This Dude has 30+ Lock Picks on his head.
Thank you UA-cam for recommending me this in 2019
So now you can go rob a house and see your kid thru prison bars
The guest looks so uncomfortable teaching him this stuff.
If he says one wrong word there Master would sue the crap out of him, others probably would too

He doesn't look uncomfortable he looks like he's trying not to give out too much information and actually the guy with the hair looks nervous.
@@Michael-tb3lt Thanks you not.
ive been a locksmith for 29 years, this method will only work, if the key cuts are close in depth, if the lock has radical cuts they will never bump...
Whats the best lock thats hardest to pick?
Trevor McFarland there are many locks that you can’t pick, lazer cut, Medeco, Ect.
this guy asks questions and then talks over the guy when he tries to answer.
he has a great hair cut too
you can only get a job like this with a hairstyle like that ahhaa
Lol
Oh man, I remember when Netflix wasn't famous 😆
1348 peoples houses got robbed because of this technique.
A trained homeowner with a firearm - a punk's nightmare.
yuuuup
Except most burglars aren't going to break into your home while you're there. Hope that precious gun is locked up tight so it doesn't join the hundreds stolen and used by criminals.
Believe it or not, the barking dog is better than an alarm (nobody has been bitten by a alarm), or the gun (someone needs to be there & willing to pull the trigger).
No that's what the 2nd Amendment is for. At least until the left starts trying to confiscate peoples guns. Then be ready for the 2nd civil war.
Yup.
The host could have picked the lock with his hair
Need to try that....
lol
You Could Open *Any* Door With Your Hair
Why is Every Word Starts w/ Caps Lock? You Should Only Do That in Titles.
Don't be Jayden smith
Space Man rrrttttty
+Lol Nahon?
That's because every sentence he says is a major motion picture.
Lol Nahon? You just did the same thing you fucking Moron.
Great Locksmith you chose, he looks top-notch and seemed really excited about being in this video. Bet it took him ALL morning just to try to decide what to wear..
Right? Guy was miserable af.
Thanks!
> watches a very informative video and comes away with newfound kernels of understanding
> checks the comments and sees a bunch of tools talking about the host's hair *and nothing else*
> double-facepalms
Hipstoprockathon
>Judges people based on appearance
>Thinks fashion sense is a necessity in life
>'Murica!
KingRasha stahp with the >, this is youtube not 4chan
capnjackjack1 We can't help it. We used to use asterisks for emoting on UA-cam, then UA-cam added text formatting as part of the Google+ integration. So now the asterisks turn the emote text between them into Bold Text. So what choice do we have?
Hipstoprockathon Ah, Hipstop. How wonderful it must be to live freely as you do, without the excruciating burden of intelligence. How I envy you.
Thanks! I got 7 new bikes:)
😂
😂 I hope you're joking..
He's not, my bike is missing ;-;
😒 my bike better be back by spring
The
Firsr of all, thanks for the educational content here - but honestly investing more in a good home key is just so important
Title: how to pick a lock in seconds video: 18 minutes long
You still learnt it in seconds right? The whole video wasn't about bumping and the pressure to apply on the key twist. That part took seconds, not minutes.
it took 17 minutes to divert attention from the quills and.. . oh! right!! lock picking!.. . that's what I'm here for.
Well with the o-ring technique ( 9:04 ) it really seems to only take seconds
