Key point here, lines of demarcation were lines of longitude, not lines of "latitude". Lines of longitude run north/south and lines of latitude run east/west. In simpler terms, lines of longitude on a globe or chart are the vertical lines and lines of latitudes are the horizontal lines.
Lines of longitude are noted by using the numerical degree east or west of the Prime Meridian either East or West depending if it is in the Western Hemisphere or Eastern Hemisphere, i.e. 40 degrees West or 040 W. Similarly, lines of latitude are noted by the degree North or South of the Equator.
So, the line of demarcation was approximately 46 degrees West; this is a line of longitude, not a line of latitude.
Not to be too pedantic, but I was an Air Force officer and C-130 navigator. Confusing lines of longitude with lines of latitude are like nails on a black board to me.
That being said, this presentation was well done and very interesting.

Re: "The Spanish crown recalls Colombus back in 1496..." therefore there must have then been ship making the voyage after Colombus to carry such messages. Ships of the crown are able to find their way to the Indies from Spain, presumedly following navigation instructions Colombus had created while in Spain.

I guess they didn't know that eating people rots the brain. I wonder how much mental damage these people suffered from generations of people eating. Laughing Sickness (Kuru), Mad Cow (Bovine spongiform encephalopathy) and other ailments some of which are lethal and incurable. Thank goodness Europeans came along and put a stop to such behavior (mostly). ;) It is one thing to research history and quite another to connect all the dots (clearly an impossible task) and understand history. I think you're doing a marvelous job at that and I'm ticked pink to be one of your first followers. I've been one of the first followers of several of what are now considered UA-cam celebrities so I know good work when I see it and you are on your way man.

Agreed. One must wonder how this came about as a way of life for them. It must of come as the result of famine or drought. I can't imagine this lifestyle being chosen and perpetuated under normal circumstances.

@@HistoricalContextUSA Yeah but they are in the tropics and they shouldn't have had to work that hard with food all around them. Sea life, bananas, coconuts. I live in South Florida and no matter how poor you are you can always find something to eat. I've heard that argument before and frankly I think it is more than likely that someone ate an enemy for one reason or another and the first guy said...omg this is awesome.

It's my understanding that Kuru is a result of eating the brains. I don't think it's a result of eating flesh, just brain and usually raw.
