About Please Fix the Road:
Please Fix The Road is a colorful, minimalistic, laid-back and casual puzzle game in which it's probably not hard to guess... you're fixing roads! In each level you have a specific limited set of tools that will help you get all the cars, boats, trains or animals from their point A to point B. The mentioned animals include, of course, kittens, dogs and... pink llamas!
You are able to manipulate multiple tiles at the same time. You can insert, destroy, rotate, copy, swap, raise, lower, push or move different segments of roads, rivers, paths or railroad tracks. The game combines elements of many other logic games into a nice minimalistic experience.
Your road repair doesn't have to be beautiful, it just needs to get the job done! So please... Fix the road and have fun! Your mom will like this game too!

You know it’s a good game whenever theres a “BRIDGE REVIEW”.
I was scroling through the comments while some adds played before the video (I let them run full legth, so Matt can buy more food for Paddy) and found this comment. Now I‘m excited for it to come up

the Tetris shape is called z-shape, there is also the square, the s-shape, the t-shape, the L-shape and backwards L-shape and the last one is the long shape, also the strongest shape because you can make a Tetris (four lines in one shot) which gives you a lot of points.
6:00 Tetris pieces are Tetromino (Tetris Domino). That specific piece though is an S-Tetronimno. Other shapes are also referred to their closest letter shape: I, O, T, J, L, S, and Z.
It also has the root "tetra", because they all have 4 pieces.
edit: not necessarily the case in this game, just for the original tetris

every piece also has a specific name. them being: orange ricky, blue ricky, cleaveland z, rhode island z, hero, teewee & smashboy

Someone needs to do a meta analysis of every bridge review so we can figure out what bridge would be a 10/10
Things that seem to improve the score:
- Largely sticking to tried-and-true bridge principles (truss bridges in particular, though suspension, cable-stayed, and arch bridges also do well)
- Structural integrity (setting off an explosion on a bridge and having it remain largely intact has resulted in amended, improved scores)
- Serving a practical purpose (getting people to and from important locations whilst spanning rivers and/or canyons)
- Using unusual materials
- Having been built by Matt
Things that seem to reduce score include:
- Not leading anywhere
- Lacking clearance underneath
- Lack of supports
- Use of square trusses
- Cantilevering
- Lack of barriers to prevent people falling off the sides
- Pointless decorations
I'm still working on trying to figure out the ultimate BILF, but this is a start.

The reward for each level is just a new animation, what an interesting idea.
The in between level animations have no right to be this great !

I think I recognize some of the tiles from free asset packs by Kenney Assets. I used some in my final year project for college a few years ago. They definitely made good use of them though and those animations look great, might pick this one up.

The original Nintendo version of Tetris came with a booklet which tells you the names of the pieces, that one is Rhode Island Z
The others are:
Orange Ricky (the L)
Blue Ricky (the backwards L)
Cleveland Z (regular Z)
Hero (line)
Teewee (looks like a short T)
And Smashboy (square)
I really hope you know that said booklet was photoshopped, and the names are not true ;-)

That specific “Tetris shape” is named “Rhode Island Z.” In the booklet that came with the original Tetris game, they named them all.
